Loved the layout for my family. Big kitchen to cook in, two areas for our family of 10 to eat, lovely porch, enough rooms for kids and adults, privacy but close to everything.

Great location. Easy walk to town, restaurants and shore path. Great front porch for coffee and breakfast. Only issue was one back bedroom did not have a separate ac unit, and there was no live TV option available. Otherwise a great place to stay.

This location could not be beat! Steps to the shore path and the shops - plus just a few minutes down the road to Acadia. The size was perfect for our extended family. Charming and spacious. Loved starting the day with coffee on the front porch. Everyone loved our stay!

This was close to everything. We walked around town, to the waterfront, to bar island, it was perfect! We spent a lot of time on the extremely comfortable porch. Everyone spent time in the hammock. Humming birds visited frequently. The house is old, which we love, with lots of space and unique nooks & crannies. The kitchen is great to cook in and is stocked very well with everything needed for whatever you’re cooking. Lots of books too. We had a great, memorable, family vacation. Oh and Katrina was fantastic!

We loved staying at the cottage! It’s one house away from Shoreline path so we could walk down to the water easily and a few houses away from the downtown area so it was just perfectly located! Even though it’s on the walk to shore path, it’s very secluded – hidden behind lush landscape. There’s plenty of space to enjoy outside of the house – a large front porch and a nice private side porch. Our grandkids loved playing in the yard. There was great space for everybody! It really felt like a comfortable home. Everything you needed. Loved the character!

Great property with lots of space inside and out. Location is just off the busy town streets and a very short walk to the ocean.

This house has a fabulous location in Bar Harbor, central to everything in the tourist-friendly part of the city and convenient to Acadia entrances. That aspect is as good as it gets. The house itself is a mix of old, charming, cozy spots and recently modernized kitchen/laundry/bathrooms, along with comfortable beds and some aspects that would be difficult to live with every day. With a hot shower and a great kitchen for a family breakfast, we were good to go. Fine to hang out there, and charming for a short stay. The convenience definitely outweighed the downsides for my family.

Perfect Bar Harbor house!

We loved this quintessential Maine home! It's perfectly situated a couple of blocks from the center of town and near the Shore path. The house is well kept and it couldn't be a better location.

The home was the center of our stay in Bar Harbor and a wonderful place to come home to after days of tours, walking, and time in Acadia National Park. Each of us had our own room, the kitchen was perfect and the porches are spectacular. Not to mention the location to Shorepath and the beautiful views. Would love to return and highly recommend!

Wonderful!

We stayed for a long weekend and were delighted with this property. Fantastic location, comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, and a front porch that we spent all our free time enjoying. We were sad to leave and will definitely return!

Best Location!

We loved this location! Our sons enjoyed walking 2 minutes into town and 2 minutes to the shore path! 10 minutes to Acadia. We loved the porch and fire pit area!

Excellent location and space for a big group

A group of former college roommates (now just a bit older…) spent a very pleasant four days here. Very clean, great kitchen, grill, and porch seating. It’s a little old-fashioned in some of the rooms, but it’s also a great price and we weren’t renting in BH to sit in our rooms! Overall we were very happy with the place.

Quiet and charming. Just right to slow dusk and enjoy relaxing

We enjoyed being lazy travelers in this lovely home. It has plenty of room- more than just the two of us really needed- but was a nice vacation spot- very centrally located. We really enjoyed sitting on the large covered front porch as well.

This home is exactly as listed. It is in the perfect location - one block from the ocean trail and one block from Main St in Bar Harbor. We never used a car aside from the 20 minute drive into Acadia. The house was clean and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We used the grill and fire pit during our stay. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area! Host was quick to respond and check in and out were very easy.
