WHAT IS PROVIDED:
Spectrum Rental Properties will provide sheets and bath towels. Beach towels and equipment is not provided. If you would like information on beach equipment rentals, we are more than happy to provide you with a list. Properties will be provided with a starter kit in each full bathroom and kitchen. Each kitchen starter kit will contain a small bottle of dish soap, two dishwasher pods, sponge, and two fragrance free laundry pods. The kitchen will also have one extra trash bag
Each bathroom starter kit will contain a travel size shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, makeup wipe, and body bar.
Spectrum Rental Properties is unfortunately not able to provide additional boxes/bags. This is a starter kit; anything additional will be guests responsibility to provide.

OTHER NOTES:
-The complex does not have an elevator
-No pets
-No smoking
-There are two EV charging stations for guest use at Southwinds located at the back of building E.

The fee to charge your vehicle is 25¢ per kW.
There will be an additional charge of $5 per hour if your vehicle remains hooked up after the battery is completely full.

Great place to stay

Plenty of room for everyone to have space. Great location. A little bit of a walk to the beach but overall, we would definitely stay there again.

Relaxing week

Great location—loved being so close to the Fort Macon nature trails. Easy beach access, appreciated having the washer/dryer this week. Would definitely stay here again.

Great property

Loved the location. There were multiple pools on site and the beach privacy was great. Unit was a little dated, but we enjoyed the stay and would gladly stay here again. Communication with property manager was excellent as well.

Great getaway!

Condo is overall great in nature. Fully equipped but needs a paint job. Very close to beach and two pools! Property manager was extremely responsive to our calls for assistance. Will definitely return to this unit!

Wonderful, relaxing beach trip!

This property is very well renovated. It’s beautiful and bright. It was the perfect size for me and my husband. We could’ve fit another guest, too. The condo community is family friendly, calm and quiet. It’s a short walk to a beautiful part of the beach. Thanks for a great week!

Thanks for your review. We went back and checked and every single message you received from us had East Fort Macon Rd. I'm not sure why you left an inaccurate review, perhaps you had the address confused, but we never sent the wrong address to you.

The address was listed incorrectly, but the property manager fixed the issue and issued a partial refund. When we arrived, the exterior door was broken. Once inside, the door locked behind us and couldn’t be opened. I had to call maintenance, then use a knife to tighten the screws myself just to get out. The location is close to the beach, although there are no water views from the unit. The beds are worn out and should be replaced. Despite these problems, the unit was very clean and the air conditioning worked well, which I really appreciated.

Perfect Condo In a great community

Very comfortable condo with everything you need for a mini Vacation! First floor was very convenient. Walk to the beach was not bad even though we were the farthest away Unit. The pool was nice and close and super refreshing! Kids Loved it! Check in was a piece of cake and Communication was spot on! Would stay there again!

Nice stay at the beach

We had a great stay - the property is located very close to the beach and the private pool is a bonus as well. The apartment has a very nice "beachy" design and vibe. The only issue we had is that they didn't provide much in the way of bnb-type essentials. The soap dispensers were empty. Basic cooking utensils but nothing else other than salt and pepper. Half a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, no boxes of tissues, etc. Also note, they do not provide beach towels, so we ended up buying some.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay. We had 2 people in our party and used both rooms. It was very comfortable and clean. 1 full bath and 1 1/2 bath in one of the rooms. This worked out fine just sharing the shower. The building is furthest from the ocean, however it was not an issue, we drove the car to the entrance. Walking is optional too. There is a bathroom at the pool near the beach entrance so we didn't have to go back to the unit throughout the day. Atlantic beach has many delicious restaurants. Bahia Beach House is amazing, make a reservation for outside seating. Nice complex! Bring toilet paper :-)

Updated, clean, home away from home

This property is conveniently located on the first floor of a quiet neighborhood. One of the two pools on site is directly behind the condo making it only a short walking distance. The laundry available within the residence is a HUGE benefit of staying at the beach!! We would definitely stay here again.

Newly renovated and well designed.

Upon arrival we were impressed with the layout of the condo. It was beautifully designed and furnished. However there was food crumbs in the drawers, some of the dishes in the cabinets had food stuck on them. It appeared that the dishwasher didn’t get them entirely clean. There was also glasses with lipstick marks. After re-washing all the dishes in the condo and cleaning the drawers/ cabinets that we would be using, it was fine. The distance to to the ocean was a little further than expected. This was the first time our family has ever stayed anywhere besides ocean front. As a family of four the condo size was perfect, but there were not enough linens supplied (only 4 bath cloths and towels). We had to constantly wash clothes. I also do not like that the quilts on the beds were not cleaned prior to our stay. The beach was perfectly peaceful and was not overly crowded. It was exactly what we needed. Lastly, it was nearly impossible to find a resturant fully staffed. Most had shortened hours or it took forever to get seated and served even when the restaurant was only 50% occupied.

A wonderful getaway!

South Winds was a wonderful and relaxing place to stay. The unit was impeccably clean and well appointed. The decor was perfect for the beach. It was quiet and neighbors were so nice! The beach was amazing- Many thanks to our host, Claudia! Prompt responses to any of our questions and seamless and enjoyable vacation! Can’t wait to come back! 🏝🐬💕
