In the heart of Phoenix, close to many of our almost 200 Golf courses! Take a peaceful bike ride to Encanto Park, the Light Rail, dozens of restaurants & shops, downtown, Melrose, and Uptown! This beautiful home has it all! Kick back in the pebble-tech hot tub after a long day on the course, or cool off with a dip in the saltwater pool. Enjoy a BBQ with friends around the warming fire. Let the kids run & play on the backyard playground. Then, sit back & relax with a movie at the end of the day on the 120" movie screen!

Nice property in a great location. Very clean, and well furnished. The only sticking point was that the washer wasn't working properly - that in itself is no biggie, but the host never replied when we asked for help.

Amazing Place to Stay

This was a great place to stay! Our family booked it for one month in the winter and we had everything we needed. It was awesome. The kids loved the backyard and the pool. Mom and Dad loved the hot-tube. The house was plenty big enough with lots of room to spread out and relax - even for a family of 5. We watched movies on the big screen and went for daily walks around the charming neighborhood. I highly recommend staying here if you get the chance.

This place was nice! However the cleanliness of the inside wasn’t what I was expecting. The floors were pretty dirty and I had to sweep and mop when I got there (which is not the property managers fault, just the cleaning company), there was dirty child hand prints all over the glass doors and walls, and I kept finding cockroaches. The property was big; however, I don’t think I will be staying here again unless they lower the price due to the cleanliness.

Amazing House! Amazing Location! Amazing Host!

I can't say enough good things about both this property and the host! The house itself is beautiful inside and out. Tons of room. It was only myself, husband and small daughter; easily could of accommodated a much larger family or families. Modern design, modern appliances, comfy beds, comfy sheets & blankets. The TV projector was great for watching a family movie at night. The backyard was the most relaxing part of our vacation and fun for everyone. Playground for the kids, firetable and patio heater were great for cold Phoenix nights, the hot tub and (optional) heated pool were so much fun. The location of this house is also stellar. Close to attractions like the zoo, gardens and museums. The host was also excellent. By far the best I've experienced. Quick to answer concerns or questions but not intrusive. We definitely didn't want to leave! Such a wonderful vacation! Stay here if you have the chance!

Spacious home in a quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors. This was definitely a wonderful stay! We had children with us who loved the outside play area. Pool and hot tub were well maintained . The fire table made for the perfect end to the evenings. Very relaxing.

I hope to reflect our passion for travel in the homes that we host. We have stayed in short-term rental properties from Seoul to London, L.A. to Paris, New Delhi to New York, and everywhere in between; and we try to take the best of everything we’ve seen and experienced in the world, and deliver it to you in Phoenix, AZ.

Our company, Life.Better.LLC, started in 2018 after we moved back from an overseas military posting to the U.S. We had been stationed overseas for over 4 years, before being assigned back to the states — to Phoenix, AZ. So, we packed up our things and our 4 small children and relocated to our new city. We are not from “the valley” and so we had no network of family or friends, no infrastructure in place for our family, and literally no place to live. We bounced around short-term rental properties for 2 months until we found our home; while juggling work, school, & life with only 1 car. We were living out of suitcases, taking Uber to works and going through a very stressful phase of life — and we knew that there had to be a way to do Life, Better.
Since then, we have grown our business from a single rental home to a network of furnished rentals across the valley and have even included a few rental cars. We understand what it is like to need housing, transportation, and support. And, we strive to take the stress out of these situations for all of our guests.
Whether on military temporary duty or permanent change of station, traveling nurses, renovating a home and needing temporary lodging, displaced because of damage and repairs to your primary home, escaping the cold winters to sunny Phoenix, meeting old friends for a golf weekend, or just wanting to get away for a minute: Life.Better. has you covered. We have been in your shoes and are eager to make your experience an amazing one!

I absolutely LOVE this home! It was our first family home when we moved to Phoenix. We fully renovated the house from top to bottom -- from new roof to new wood floors -- and everything in between. A lot of blood, sweat, and beers went into the renovation; and we really tried to give the house character. Our kitchen was designed & built with entertaining in mind - an open floor plan to create a welcoming environment. And, when the kids need their space too, they can tuck away in the movie room just around the corner. The backyard was a dirt pit when we moved in - behold the transformation! We put in a beautiful pool during the start of the pandemic, added a grassy play area for the kids, complete with a playground, then put in a huge patio & double pergolas -- again with entertaining in mind. You would be hard pressed to find another property in the downtown of any of the top 10 major US cities (Phoenix is the 5th largest in America!) with 1/3 of an acre of grassy play area and private, heated, saltwater pool! We hope that you find our home as inviting as we did when we lived in it; and we hope your memories visiting our home are just as sweet. Safe travels my friends

We have a beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood. But it IS a house. Which means that occasionally things will break or need maintenance - just like every house, ever. If you are an extremely high maintenance person who prefers the service of the Ritz-Carlton and would get very upset if a lightbulb was burned out, a window was sticking, or a sink or toilet got clogged, then I highly recommend you book the Ritz, it is lovely.
We pride ourselves in taking great care of our home, and we respond to inquiries and issues within an hour. That being said, sometimes stuff happens. I am confident that you will enjoy our beautiful home; give us the opportunity to work hard for you and we will! :-) Super-high maintenance people need not apply, it'll be better for everyone that way ;-)
