Welcome to Northwoods luxury and charm! Timber Shores is newly constructed and meticulously appointed with everything you could need or want during your Northwoods vacation. With plenty of bedroom privacy and common area space to enjoy, bring the whole family to enjoy the pristine scenery of lake life in the Northwoods!

Timber Shores immediately impresses guests with high, cathedral ceilings and an open-concept floor plan. Giant wood beams sweep across the high ceilings adding a sophisticated allure to the bright, natural warmth of the home. The kitchen is state of the art with new appliances, granite countertops, and everything you could need to entertain your guests while vacationing.

With five bedrooms and sleeping accommodations for up to 16 people, there is space for everyone on your invite list. Three of the five bedrooms, including the master bedroom, are located on the main level, with two additional bedrooms on the lower level. The loft is open to the living room below with a queen bed, the perfect space for young travelers to watch over the excitement of family gatherings.
The lower level has another living room area for guests to enjoy and use to unwind after a day on the lake. With cozy reclining chairs and natural light, watch a movie or play cards with your friends, there is no end to comfort and fun in sight!

Relax on the deck, shaded by the pine tree canopy while you grill or enjoy cocktail hour with your family and friends. Enjoy campfires in the property’s fire pit, or head down to the waterfront for water adventures and explorations. The property has a private pier on Big Saint Germain Lake with plenty of space for watercrafts of all kinds. The lake access point has a parking area for convenience but is also just a short walk from the property.
Big Saint Germain Lake is 1600+ acres, popular with anglers and watersports fanatics alike. Known for bass, musky, and walleye fishing, fishing from the property’s pier can also reel in panfish and is the perfect place to spot Eagle overhead. Timber Shores is conveniently located RIGHT on the snowmobile trail providing riders direct access to over 500 miles of trails in Vilas County!

Amazing!

We really enjoyed our getaway at this wonderful home. Plenty of room for everyone to gather around the island - bedrooms were large with very comfy beds - outdoor space for bonfire was great - we rented a pontoon with it and cruised the lake & had a great time. Communication with the property staff was easy and responsive. Cant wait to come back sometime!

Family Vacation

The home was beautiful. The rooms and beds were all very nice. The yard was all stone so no ability to play yard games or sit outside other than by the campfire on the side of the house. The large deck was great & we used it regularly. The walk to the pier was a bit longer than expected. We knew we had to cross the road which was fine but you had to walk the road to the pier (about 1/4 mile) and the road was very busy. We rented a pontoon boat for the week but the owner of the home had their boat docked on one side of the pier. We docked our boat on the other side but the heads of the screws were not covered on the pier so the screw heads scraped our pontoon boat badly despite the fact we had boat bumpers. Additionally most of us got swimmers itch in the lake. The owners were responsive to our questions/concerns. We enjoyed our vacation in St Germain despite the negatives. River tubing at Wildwood Adventures, kayaking the Wolf River, golfing, St Germain Brewery, coffee at the Red Canoe & ice cream at Cathy’s were some of our favorites.

Beautiful Vacation home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Gorgeous home!! My understanding is it was fairly new, although we didn't realize that there would be zero lawn for the small kids we had with us to play on. The amenities we perfect for our family. I guess we didn't correctly understand how far away the boat dock/swimming area is from the home! When I first rented, I was under the impression that the dock was basically across the street. It did say it was in walking distance, which it is, however, with several very small children, and a busy road, walking is just not a great idea with the little ones. Fortunately for us, we happened to know the people who were renting the home next to us who also had a dock up the road, right next to ours, so they allowed us to park an extra vehicle in their parking area! All in all, it was a lovely week. We would have appreciated a heads-up from the rental company that swimmer's itch was prevalent in the lake upon our arrival and that we should have stayed out of the water near the short (once we were out in the middle of the lake, we didn't experience any further issues with the swimmer's itch, but everyone got it pretty badly; we've never had it, in 25+ years of vacationing, so had NO idea to even be aware of it!!) Rental company is great to work with and very accommodating.

Thanksgiving Tradition

This home was perfect for our yearly Thanksgiving getaway. The house is beautiful, clean, and the beds were so comfortable. We had the most relaxing time and can’t wait to book again.

Family fun

This is a great house for a large group. Plenty of space with a nice great room/kitchen for hanging out. Seems to be pretty new. The only downside was the pier was not across the street, but rather a bit of a walk or drive, which made the trips to/from the pier more difficult with little kids. Besides that our group had zero complaints. Would be a great place to be in the winter. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a new home, close to everything in Saint Germain!

Wonderful vacation home

The home when we arrived was spotless! The kitchen was very functional with a beautiful gas stove. When I had a question, the owner was extremely responsive! The only suggestion I would have is to have more bowls(serving/mixing) and for the amount of people that are able to stay, a 4 slice toaster and a griddle would be great!

Ants in the kitchen and some living areas. Called multiple times and day before we left a can of ant spray was left by door. Also never heard back about water filter for fridge. Everything else was great.

Dream Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wow! What a beautiful property! We rented this home for a week long summer family vacation and wish we had booked it for two! Everything is new, extremely clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for our family group of 11. We enjoyed cooking in the gourmet kitchen, playing games in the roomy living areas and hanging out on the large patio or around the fire pit. We had been looking for a lakefront location, but the private pier gave us the lake experience we were hoping for. We kept our boat at the pier and went out daily wake boarding & fishing. We were also surprised to find the rental property included a canoe and kayaks for us to use during our stay, it was fantastic! The property management was very helpful and easy to get a hold of, we never had an issue contacting them. It is a brand new property and they are still working on a few things but nothing that stopped us from having a wonderful vacation experience. We all agreed we want to rent this property again next summer. Thank you Hiller Vacation Homes!

Still working out the kinks

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wow this property is stunning but definitely still getting the hang of renting on Air BnB. We rented the house for a girl's weekend and I was hosting. I initially had a very hard time getting a hold of the property managers with my questions about the check out time and procedure that I wanted to share with the other guests. I sent them two messages on the air bnb website which were never replied to. I also tried the text line that they said was monitored 24/7 and never received a response. Once I had their direct Red Awning email I was able to get the questions I had answered but that wasn't until about 2 days before our stay. The air bnb details clearly let us know they wouldn't provide shampoo, conditioner, or hair dryers which was fine because we had the details ahead of time. What it failed to mention was there would be no towels. No body towels for the showers and not even hand towels in the bathrooms. We had to buy beach towels from the local grocery store for the weekend. When I called asking where the towels were the manager said it was in the details of the confirmation email. I did not see it there however it was noted in their hospitality app that was only sent to me after I had already arrived. When we arrived there was trash at the backdoor from the previous guests but the manager picked that up very quickly after we called. Overall we enjoyed our stay but it was definitely a bumpy start.
