The adjacent Guest House is 2 bedrooms, One with 2 full-size beds and the other has separated Full size bunk bed size. Guest house has its own full kitchen, full bathroom, living room with TV, own balcony with seating and great views.

Effler`s family-run grocery store is just a few miles from the house but has a much smaller selection. Address is 12410 NC-80, Burnsville, NC 28714

The South Toe River has plenty of trout year-round, including wild trout (rainbow, brook, brown) The neighborhood has a catch-and-release policy. You do not need a separate fishing license if you already possess a NC State-issued license. If not, you must purchase a fishing license if you would like to fish. They can be bought at most gas stations

Located on the picturesque Mount Mitchell Golf Course, our home offers open green views and plenty of outdoor space. Although the course is currently closed for repairs following Hurricane Helene, guests are invited to stroll along its serene fairways and enjoy full use of our large yard

We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We`re only a phone call/message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival. We are focused on making sure you have a 5-star experience during your stay. If for any reason, this isn`t the case, please reach out and let us know.

Please remember that you`re staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action asap however there is no one living on-site 24/7.

We are on the Mount Mitchell Golf Course, on the 14th hole, overlooking the South Toe River. Very unique, spectacular views. We have a large yard which guests have full access to, However, guests are not allowed to walk, jog, or play at any time on the golf course. You may book to play at Mount Mitchell`s Golf Course web site. The golf season depends on the weather, but is typically from early April through October 31st every year, Monday through Sunday. The Golf Course Restaurant is open Tuesday through Saturday.

Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM.
Please be mindful of neighbors and outdoor noise, especially on decks and patios.

This property is strictly no pets. No pets of any kind are permitted on the premises at any time.

If evidence of a pet is found (including but not limited to pet hair, odor, stains, damage, or noise complaints), the guest will be charged a $500 violation fee, plus any additional cleaning, deodorization, or damage repair costs incurred
