Stylish property that is well equipped and in a peaceful location. Had a wonderful stay and it was a great base for Joshua National Park.

We absolutely loved this place! The view of the night sky from the hot tub is breath-taking with no light pollution because of how remote we were. We had plenty of space and everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable, too!

The whole experience was wonderful. It truly was an escape. You could hear yourself think and breathe. Seeing the night sky, hearing the coyotes in the distance to seeing the humming birds float by. Sitting in the hot tub and soaking up the desert sun.The home was well appointed with all your needs. Just stock up the fridge and forget about your troubles. What can we say but ahh!!!!

The Desert house is incredibly charming, and the communication and advice from the host made our family's stay all more comforting. The unobstucted mountain view from the living room was like living in a dream. Definitely follow the host's instructions when getting there, the last 2 miles of dirt road are well maintained, don't try to follow google maps which can suggest roads not yet built. Once there, it's a quiet calm paradise away from busy cities.

It was a very nice and relaxing weekend. The house was beautiful and was exactly what we needed.

The place was clean and spacious. It could’ve fit 3 couples but there was hot water in 1 showers.

The area was not just remote but desolate… sad. We enjoyed the quality of the beds and furniture.

Nice convenient house near 29 Palms MCAGCC

Stayed here while doing some work aboard 29 Palms. Nice and clean, convenient to be able to cook vs eat out. Only downside was no wifi

Fantastic getaway!

This place was fantastic! The decor of the house was so cute. Everything was clean and very comfortable. The jacuzzi was great for star gazing. It's far enough to feel remote but still close to all the stores and restaurants you might want. Would definitely come back here to unplug.

Amazing

This was my second stay at this place and it was amazing like the other time and I'm gonna book again for my next trip in a few months. So much calm and peace with beautiful night sky and no light pollution is what you get. Strongly recommended.

Milky Way

Beautiful property, so many stars to see including the Milky Way. Property management makes it very easy to get any info needed, and a very easy check out.

A quiet and bare bones vacation rental

The property was very clean and beautifully quiet. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing and unobstructed. We were a bit disappointed in the layout (the primary bedroom required a walk through the living area and kitchen to reach a shared bathroom, as example) and the outdoor seating wasn't very comfortable. Perhaps better to spend time in this isolated location as a couple rather than with friends.

Remote desert stay

This property was exactly what we were looking for, remote, and with gorgeous views. It worked perfectly for our family with two small children and I found it to be a great value. Would only suggest updating the listing to reflect no Wifi and adding a few kitchen utensils (measuring cups, sharp knives, etc.)

Perfect stay!

Wow! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. My partner and I stayed for a week and definitely did not want to leave. The table on the patio is perfect for an early morning coffee and cool breezy dinners. It’s clean and comfortable. I loved that it was not right in town but we could drive 10 minutes and be near the park, all the shops, and restaurants. Thanks for everything!

Beautiful desert getaway

Beautiful space, comfy mattresses, and perfect getaway to disconnect. There are no blackout curtains so bring eye masks. Two of three of the bed frames were broken and I think the housing company could have been better with their customer service regarding that issue.

Cute little secluded place however the pictures are outdated. While the house felt clean, it could definitely use a deep cleaning like washing walls, curtains, etc. there was a very strong odor when we arrived. There are no cleaning supplies available but they do provide soap, sponge, etc. There is only one game for any sort of entertainment so make sure you bring a book, Bluetooth speaker, cards, something to do. As mentioned, there is a lot of rusty metal around the yard so be aware if you have kids. There isn’t much for outdoor furniture and most of what’s there is broken, bring activities for the kids. The porch is great for meals and watching the sunrise!

Off the beaten path for sure, but very entertaining for the kids. Wi-fi would be nice but it allowed us to play some games with the kids and just hang out. The hot tub under the stars is awesome. A pair of scissors in the kitchen could help with some food prep. Lastly, Pioneertown was very cool, but the swap meet is a thing of the past. All we got were strange looks driving up to the gate! HaUpdates to you itinerary ideas would be good.

Excellent

Amazing place in the middle of desert with no neighbor close to you. we arrived late in the evening and once my friends and i stepped in the property, from the very first moment we got the vibe of the place. it was so relaxing with no TV, no WIFI and meditating in absolute silence was exactly what we went for. i'm so happy with my decision to go to this place and strongly recommend this amazing relaxing place to the people who want to escape from city craziness for a while.
