Beautiful and Peaceful

Everything about this retreat is perfect. So clean and inviting. Our hosts were responsive and informative. We loved the fishing off the dock plus seeing lots of wildlife. Rarely do we say we will plan another stay but with this one we will!

I was kind of skeptical on every review being 10 stars but add my 10 star review- the home is perfect, exactly as pictured and stocked with everything you would need or want. Very clean !! Easy check in and check out..Lots of TV options, beautiful property and views..quiet and serene.. We do plan on coming back ! thank you to the hosts for this beautiful home

Beautiul piece of paradise on the river

This beautiful home on the river was by far one of the best we have ever experienced. The house was so well laid out and well appointed. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The home was located close to our kayaking and biking adventures. We paddled right off the dock for 4 hours. The couch was a great place to watch our streaming shows in the evening and the lanai was a wonderful place to be in the morning and for dinner watching the river. We would love to return and the guest book shows many have returned. Highly recommend this peacful retreat.

River Retreat

Adam and Jennifer responded immediately to any questions we had. Check in was a breeze and they thought of everything to make us feel at home during our stay. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed having the kayaks on site to explore the peaceful river. There are walking and bike trails and three golf courses only minutes away. We plan on returning next year.

A wonderful place to get away

The River Retreat is delightful. It is comfortable, well appointed and conveniently located. The hosts are the Absolute Best.We explored the area, visiting state parks and restaurants. We biked so many miles (even in the chilly weather) on the Withlacooche and Good Neighbor trails. We had a couple of Zoom meetings which went very well due to excellent WiFi. My husband fished plenty. It was good exercise even if you don’t have to reel in any fish.

Great as always

It’s our fifth time to this home. We enjoy it so much. So clean, has all the amenities you could want, plus more. Hosts are welcoming, helpful and quick to communicate. Highly recommend.

River Retreat Can’t Be Beat

Such a beautiful property, great hosts. Very clean modern / updated furnishings. Hosts were easy to contact, personable and friendly. Nice and quiet, listen to the birds singing and the river flowing. River Retreat is just that. Would do this one again. 🙂

Relaxing on the River

Husband working lots of hours, needed to get away & rest. It was a great place to do that. Watching the river rise and flow, hearing the birds. Very peaceful!

Cozy with a beautiful view

Love this home! The open kitchen, the back porch, the river view, the comfortable beds, the location so close to Rainbow Springs…so many things to love! The hosts are very easy to communicate with and have thought of everything to make it a wonderful experience.

Beautiful Riverfront Paradise

If you are contemplating a stay at this property, delay no longer & simply book the trip! This home was immaculate, probably one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in. They provided everything you could need and MORE. Plenty of extra linens, towels, pillows, everything! The kayaks were such a nice touch...we took them out almost every evening for a sunset trip on the river. We observed lots of wildlife and fished off the dock daily. So many things to do within close proximity/driving distance. What a beautiful piece of paradise!

Beautiful, peaceful waterfront property

This was our first stay here and we’ve already booked again! The owners are very responsive and have thought of everything. We love the decor and comfort of the home. The bedding was soft and cozy. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The view is amazing, the neighborhood is quiet, and there are so many fun things to do nearby. We enjoyed paddling on the Withlacoochee river out back, but also took our own kayak to KP hole and had a blast on the Rainbow River. We loved sitting on the big screened back porch eating our meals and watching the afternoon rain. Highly recommend!

Awesome River front house.

The property is perfect. Clean and cozy and has everything you would ever need. Grocery store not far away. Lots of wild life on the river. Great place to get away and relax. I would recommend this place for any couple or family. Thank you guys.

Wonderous Withlacoochee

Our stay exceeeded our expectations, the house was very clean and spacious for my family of 5. The Withlacoochee is now my favorite river in FLA. The host(s) were absolutely wonderful and more than accomadating and very fast response time to messages. Like most of the other reviews said the worst part BY FAR was having to leave there. It was the best VRBO experience we've had to date.

Beautiful and serene

This was just the relaxing weekend getaway we needed. The property was immaculate, literally one day of the cleanest and most well kept properties we have had the pleasure of visiting. The pictures do not do it justice. We loved every part of our stay and truly appreciate the attention to detail. We were looking for dates for our next visit before we left. Quiet and welcoming oasis!

Such a lovely and welcoming property. Astounding attention to detail on items that I didn't even realize mattered. Quiet setting with lovely views of the river (and easy access!) that allow you to enjoy the getaway to the fullest. This home exemplifies what every river home should be like!

Serene and Scenic

I am happy to add another well-deserved 5 star review for this property. The location was serene and scenic with the river right out the back door. All the furnishings were of high quality and very comfortable. The cleanliness was absolutely top-rate; we were comfortable right away upon arrival. And then the hosts are absolutely wonderful; we had a challenging departure day due to weather and possible airline cancellations and Jennifer was so very supportive in helping me develop a backup plan if our flight was cancelled. Highly recommend this property.

Spectacular

The home is everything we could have hoped for and so much more, the check in was easy, the home has everything you would need while staying there. It has a spectacular view of the river; just wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely a 10!!!!

A Gem!

Our first Vrbo experience and it was perfect. The home is beautiful and furnished with anything you could possibly need (or want, such as the kaykas). The decor is nicely done. The view is gorgeous. Perfect place to relax! The hosts are very kind and responsive. Wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely recommend!

Jennifer grew up coming to the property next to this one. It was purchased by her grandfather in the 70's and has been passed down through the generations. When this little gem came up for sale we all got a little excited to see it brought to its full potential & be an extension of the memories & beauty. While it has been a lot of hard work & a whole lot of time, it has brought us so much joy to see this home shined up & ready to greet guests!
