Unlike other rentals, this home away from home offers an unbeatable location mere steps away from the sandy shores of North Myrtle Beach. This laid-back city is the ideal place to relax, swim, fish in the ocean, work on your tan, beachcomb, and so much more. Five miles away is the Cherry Grove Fishing Pier, the perfect spot to cast some fishing lines with your family or kids. Exciting adventures await at Shark Wake Park, the biggest aqua park in North Myrtle Beach and you can find it only six miles away. North Myrtle Beach is also an ideal escape for golfing–make sure to pack your clubs and visit one of the nearby clubs such as Azalea Sands Golf Club (one mile), Beachwood Golf Club, (one and a half miles), or Barefoot Resort & Golf (five miles).

Things to know:

Free Attraction Ticket Program - All Oceana Resorts guests are provided with a package of tickets from local partners. The program provides one free ticket from up to 3 partners per reservation. Additional tickets are available to purchase when the free tickets are redeemed. Details are updated seasonally on property specific websites.

Children’s Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each summer from mid-June through mid-August. Activities include shark tooth hunts, crafts, pool games, and more!

Snowbird Activities - This program is available at Carolinian Beach Resort, Patricia Grand, and Bay Watch each winter from early January through mid-March. These activities build on the snowbird community we have each winter. Activities include card games, crafts, bingo, field trips, Waffle Wednesday meet-n-greets, and more!

DVD Rentals - Each property is equipped with one or more rental boxes. Guests enjoy free blockbuster rentals during their stay.

Bay Watch has 18 bodies of water including indoor and outdoor lazy rivers. Sandtrap Sports Bar is a guest favorite, open daily. Fishtails is a seasonal pool bar featuring fun cocktails and live entertainment during the warmest seasons. There is also a gift shop selling trinkets and forgotten items to make your trip complete.

Great Location but plumbing and electrical could use some work.

One of the eyes on the stove did not work. The bathtub leaked into the kitchen and carpeted living room. We spent most of our first day there moving to another unit and drying our things that were sitting in the living room.

Needs maintenance

So on arrival the room was clean but Jacuzzi tub did not work call and maintenance just turned the breaker off to the tub also exhaust fan is loud and needs replaced. The bath vanity wood and laminate is coming apart. The refrigerator has rust spots all over it. Maintenance is poor and show also the most concerning is smoke detectors had batteries removed and not working. As far as clean yes it was as far as beach and location good need maintenance and kept up it’s a shame that could be a great room for small families and couples.

Great space and wonderful views

This was a great space for a quick beach getaway. The bathroom door was a little tricky to close and keep shut but everything else was great. Would definitely go back for another stay in the future.

Could use a little TLC

Enjoyed our stay very much. The view was amazing. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The condo itself was quite run down, but clean....except for the hallways and elevator areas. Those parts were never cleaned in the 3+ days we were there.

The view was amazing and the location was convenient. The front desk staff was very friendly. The room was extremely musty and smelled like it had been closed up with wet carpets for a week. The carpet was old and dirty and the paint was chipped on the walls. The carpet in the bedroom was damp the entire time. Maintenance checked it once and said they would advise the next shift but no one ever came back to see why. When showering, it took 10 minutes for the bathtub to drain. There were no coffee mugs but there was a coffee pot and coffee. I couldn't wait to get out of the this room.

FANTASTIC LOCATION...ok stay

Pros: LOCATION, Friendliness of hotel staff & jacuuzi bathtub Everything else was just meh. The building as well as furniture is older, outdated. Beds were not comfortable. Bare minimum in the kitchen dept, did not even provide a dish sponge or paper towels. Check out is at an unreasonably early 10am with no option to extend it. All in all, it wasn't bad. Price compared to other locations and reviews around were a bit cheaper. Would I stay again, most likely not.

Clean but needs an update

The property was clean and there were several pools and a nice area of the beach but the unit desperately needed updating. The vanity in the bathroom had been soaked by the shower and was deteriorating. All the doors stuck and there was rust on the refrigerator.

My family stay at bay watch resort

The staff was very nice. I had a perfect view of the ocean. Very clean and the beds and pillows were so soft. I absolutely loved my stay and we WILL be back.

It was ok!

We enjoyed ourselves. Place was a little dirty. outside of fridge was covered with mess. The place could use an update, but It is a standard hotel room. Beautiful view. Resort has nice amenities such as bar/restaurant and breakfast place. Staff working were nice. The price was right!!

Pros about property: AMAZING view! Awesome location to all the pools (lots of them), restaurants are close or you can eat on site, beach is steps away, good price, clean Cons: The condo itself needs some love/restoration.
