Location! Cozy upstairs condo in small quiet complex located a short walk from South Forest Beach, and one mile from Coligny Plaza, Hilton Head's "downtown". Recently remodeled throughout, fully furnished with a mix of vintage, beachy, quirky nautical decor. Dependable, high speed internet for keeping up with work. Lots of books and movies to enjoy after a sunset stroll or bike ride on the beach or choose from premium channels on streaming TV service. The complex features a temperature controlled pool, personal parking space, and is adjacent to shaded bike trails. The guest bedroom has a view of the tropical tree canopy, blackout draperies, ceiling fan. Beach and pool gear is provided.

Din vært
I fell in love with Hilton Head at first sight over 30 years ago, and have been blessed to live here for the past twelve. A native Carolinian, with family close by, I travel for seasonal work as an Equine reproductive veterinary assistant on a racehorse ranch each year. I offer my condo for a snowbird getaway during my months away. I'm also a bit of an adventuress, and have availability from time to time depending on my spontaneous travels. During the Autumn I sometimes offer the guest bedroom for a month to month stay for travelling professionals to share the condo with me.

As a single female, I love the peace and quiet plus convenience of the South Forest Beach neighborhood, which is mostly residential, without too much hustle and bustle, and the hassle of the large gated gated communities. Solo sojourners will love this hidden gem. A short walk to Alder Lane, one of only seven public beach accesses on the island, takes you past the Marriott Grande Ocean, providing use of showers, restroom facilities, and the Loggerhead Landing beach bar and grill, with live music, and firepits on the cool evenings. Beach chairs and umbrellas may be rented from the lifeguard stand.
For evenings at home, curl up with your choice from well stocked bookshelves, DVD collection, or TV streaming package. It's quiet, you can open the windows and hear the surf, but not a steady stream of traffic. Hilton Head is known for its excellent restaurants, many of which are located on the south end. Call ahead for carry out, or cook out on your grill at the condo. By day, venture down to South Beach or Palmetto Bay Marina for a fishing excursion or Dolphin tour. Or just watch the dolphins make their appearances at low tide on your regular beach walk. Surf fishing is legal (just beyond the designated swimming zone) if you want to toss in a line and find out what the dolphins are chasing.
