The property was very clean and had all the necessary kitchen items to enjoy nice meal or enjoy bbq outside. The kayaks and canoe added an extra special activity to enjoy.

Nice place. Very clean very comfortable pink bathroom smells like mildew and definitely needs to be redone. Other than that. Everything was great.

Wonderful place for multiple families

We had a wonderful stay, was a great spot for three families with little kids! Host was very helpful!

Our group of four adults had a great time at this property. The location is unbeatable—beautiful views, quiet, and close to outdoor activities. The kitchen is spacious and fully stocked with every appliance and tool you need, and the bedrooms are comfortable and clean.

Hammersley Inlet Beach house was a perfect spot for our getaway. The host has supplied every amenity needed to be comfortable away from home. The house is spacious, both inside and outside...and is very quiet. The oversized, extremely comfortable sectional couch is ideal for cozy chats (with ample room for a large group!) while admiring the beauty of the Puget Sound inlet with all its wildlife and natural beauty. The hot tub and the numerous outdoor seating areas are inviting, and again, perfect for admiring the quiet, beautiful surroundings. There are BBQ's and firepits, a deck heater (although we didn't need to use this) and kayak/canoe/paddleboats available to use to explore the inlet. This was our second time staying at this beach house and are looking forward to our third time!

Quiet and beautiful getaway

We had a great long weekend! Played on the water, grilled and enjoyed the hot tub. Would definitely come back for a quick trip out of town. Thanks to the hosts for a wonderful stay!

Snowy Beach Vacation

We had the pleasure of enjoying this beautiful home during a rare snow event. The owners went out of their way to communicate with us and getting the place ready despite the weather. Everything you could want is. Here plus lots of space to relax and enjoy.

Big house with lots of waterfront

Nice, spaciousness waterfront house. The ourdoor space is big. Plenty of seating, 2 fridges and well stocked kitchen. Games upstairs were great for the kids. Loved the hot tub and view.

Wonderful weekend!

We had an amazing girls weekend! Relaxing on the comfy couch and watching the ducks, sitting outside and gazing at the water, antiquing in Shelton - the perfect getaway for four friends! The house was well stocked with every appliance you could need, spices, oils, etc. We are hoping to go back someday with our kids on a summer weekend to enjoy all of the water activities!

Great accomodations for a large group.

We area crew of 52 ish friends who grew up together in Olympia. Once a year we escape somewhere fun to silly and catch up. Your property was perfect for our gathering. A lot of laughs were had in the bunk room with an foose ball tournament and Karaoke dance party. Cheers!

Mother/Daughters Girls weekend

Had a wonderful time in this beautiful home with 5 best friends from high school and our adult daughters!The house was perfect for 9 people. Large kitchen and dining room and living room so we could all be get together.Loved viewing the wildlife from the yard while soaking up the sunshine. A doe with her fawns and 3-4 geese families, osprey , hawks and other birds!Loved our stay here. Thank you

Women’s retreat

When we arrived the place hadn’t been cleaned but communication with the host was very quick and easy and she quickly Went to action and apologized for the miscommunication with the house keeper. The place itself was a perfect getaway with everything we needed for relaxation. Upstairs bedrooms are very warm but there’s a lot of fans throughout the house

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving break vacation here! The house is actually better than pictured, I was slightly worried about making the Thanksgiving dinner but the kitchen has been recently remodeled (not shown in pictures) and they had more than the essentials in the kitchen. Plenty of pots, pans, utensils, extra spices, coffee, electric kettle, etc. I didn't want for anything. The location is fantastic with easy access to the water. We were sliding kayaks and paddle boards in at all times of the day, no matter the tide. The wood fireplace in the living room with the huge picture window make it hard to go anywhere else, although the heater on the patio was equally wonderful. The beds were all very comfortable, with a variety of pillow options. The hot tub was a great, plenty of beach towels, games and puzzles in the closet. Overall, it was incredibly easy to hang out with a multigenerational family, everyone could relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings in their own way.

Amazing Vacation Rental!

This house was amazing! The furniture (especially the beds in the downstairs bedrooms) was extremely comfortable! Our whole family had so much fun using the air hockey table, basketball game, and treadmill. The hot tub was also great, but there were some problems with the temperature. It was only one time, but it started at 99 degrees, and it made it down to 94 degrees. Other than that, it worked well. The pictures of the house are a bit outdated, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that the house is nicer than the pictures show. They have replaced some flooring, redecorated some bedrooms, and painted the kitchen cabinets. This was overall a great house. We had so much fun, and we would definitely be interested in staying here again.

Beautiful locale, wonderful house

Our stay at the Hammersley Bay Inlet Beach House was really wonderful. The house is even larger than it looks in pictures, especially the main living area. It was well-equipped and thoughtfully maintained. We loved the hot tub, the games upstairs, and the gorgeous views. We were here for a wildly hot stretch of weather (90s+) and the downstairs stayed cool and reasonable. The a/c in the upstairs unit was key, and it would be great to have one in the second upstairs bedroom too at some point, but this type of heat is really uncommon. We were on the water all the time on our paddleboard, kayak, and the house-provided canoe. The tides do come way in and way out, which is helpful to know as it is hard to get to the water when the tide is out. Lots of critters to look at, resident seals around every day, kingfishers, ospreys, eagle, and a heron that appeared every low tide. Can't recommend it enough!

Hammersly Inlet Outing

Our family gathered for an early Thanksgiving. The property is large yet private. Plenty of places to spread out indoors and outdoor. We loved gathering around the gas fireplace under the covered porch while others were in the hot tub. Our family is very familiar with older beach homes and loved the imperfections. Great time!

Better than perfect

The communication with the owners was excellent! They were super responsive and helpful. The home was bigger than I had anticipated, with plenty of things to keep the 2 kids (age 10 & 11) entertained. The view was INCREDIBLE! I loved waking up, enjoying my cup of coffee and enjoying that view every morning. Then, after a long day of beachcombing and paddleboarding in front of the property and in the private creek entrance to the West, we loved sitting in the hot tub under the stars after dinner. I cannot wait to saty here again!

Beware of extra guest fees

1st of all....we enjoyed our family trip at the property. Water access, privacy & set well off the main road. Lovely setting. The other reviews are accurate & it was great for families w kids. 2nd of all....I think it is important to note that while the property says "SLEEPS 10 PPL", you will be charged an addt'l $15 per person per night AFTER 6 GUESTS. (Ex: 10pp for 7 nights w/b 4 extra guests x $15ea x7 nights= $420). This being said, NOWHERE on this listing does it say OVER 6 GUESTS incurs an addt'l charge per person, so i was a bit disappointed in this homeowners lack of transparency. Charges become visible (or lost) in the final quote amongst clean fees, lodge taxes, damage protect fee & service fees.....The only way to discover extra guest charges are in the "host fees" & you have to click on details to see them. I called VRBO & they looked into. The agent was very kind and tried creating a trial resv. (as she found there was no transparency as well) and discovered the same thing when trying 8 guests. She apologized and assured me the property owner would get notification from vrbo to note this going forward on the listing as vrbo values transparency as well. Just thought other people should be given a heads up.

Wonderful stay in a peaceful setting

This proper is in a beautiful, peaceful setting. For me, setting out on the canoe (after checking the tides), was a great experience. Also they’ve put the hot tub in a very opportune spot.
