CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: AMENITY CLOSINGS EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 27, 2025

SunDestin Beach Resort is currently undergoing exterior construction around the property. The indoor pool, outdoor pool, and on-site restaurant are projected to be closed until the beginning of January 2026.

Please be aware that construction activity may result in noise between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM daily. Our goal is to keep you informed ahead of time so you can make the most of your stay with us.

Parking in the main lot may be limited. Please note that the drive-through area at the main lobby entrance, typically used for loading and unloading luggage, may be temporarily closed. Each one-and two-bedroom condo is allowed one vehicle only. Any additional cars will need to park in the overflow lot across the street.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as the resort works to improve and enhance the overall guest experience.

With an array of exciting on-site amenities, SunDestin Beach Resort offers a picture-perfect accommodation for your next beach vacation. This family-friendly condo features a newly renovated outdoor pool, a seasonally heated indoor pool, as well as an outdoor hot tub.  Exercise in the fitness room, grab a souvenir or a coffee from the gift shop, or rent a complimentary DVD for a family movie night. The spacious conference room is the ideal accommodation for your next event or meeting. Additional seasonal amenities include an outdoor tiki bar, as well as beach chair and umbrella rentals (fee).

Upon entering SunDestin 804, you will feel right at home, while being able to experience breathtaking eighth-floor views of the Gulf of Mexico. To the right of the entrance, you will find the bedroom featuring a large mounted flat-screen television and comfortable bedding, along with direct entrance to the bathroom. The bathroom is accessible from the hallway as well, and boasts stunning granite countertops. Nestled in the hallway is a set of twin bunk beds, providing a cozy space for children to unwind. Down the hall, the fully equipped kitchen offers elegant granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances as well as a beautifully-tiled backsplash, providing a picturesque space for making home-cooked meals or quick snacks to take down to the beach. Plenty of seating is available at the kitchen breakfast bar. Step into the spacious living room featuring a large mounted flat-screen television and DVD player, along with a comfortable couch and two chairs, ideal for relaxing with your loved ones for a movie night after a long day of soaking up the sun on the beach.

Sweeping panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico welcome you from the balcony, with seating for four. Sip on your morning coffee while listening to the tranquil sounds of the waves in the morning and experience an unforgettable view of the sun setting over the Gulf of Mexico in the evening. This lovely one-bedroom, eighth-floor vacation rental offers comfortable sleeping options for up to six people with a large king bed in the master bedroom, a set of twin bunks nestled in the hallway, along with a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Girls Trip

Just returned for a stay and it was a great experience overall. The 4 rating on condition was simply because the condo/building was a bit in need of repair. It was a great condo, wonderful area and oh the view is to be applauded! Already trying to book next year!

unfortunately wasn’t great for us. Very loud a/c in master. Could not sleep. Water seeping up from under bed. Moldy smell the entire time. no washer and drier and bare minimum equipment.

Over all the stay was good

There are multiple places in the bathrooms where there are soft and molded baseboards you can tell it’s had water damage over a long period of time. We also found a large roach in our room

Great stay!

This unit was amazing!!! Best of all it was CLEAN!!! The only reason there are not 5’s across the board is because I wished it had a washer/dryer setup. Otherwise very nice! Keep it up guys!

Comfy stay; bdr - outside motor noise

Great place. Would stay again. Just didn't like the motor noise outside the unit, but all units are built the same. The kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked. Loved it! Spent most of the time outdoors enjoying the amenities. I saw patrons bring their own lawnchairs and beach tents. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my stay and would do it again.

Spring break trip

Was disappointed that the out door pool was closed because of the construction. Tile on balcony was shattered. Had it covered with a rug. The dishwasher did not work. It was clean and people were friendly.

The AC unit for this condo is loud when coming on and especially shutting off. It is located in the bedroom so does disturb your sleep. Everything else about this building and staff were great!

Great beachfront location

Everything was great. The condition of the door to the condo; as well as the Ac unit being inside the bedroom and it makes a lot of noise when it turns on and off made me give it a 4 stars; the bathtub also fills with water and doesn\'t drain quickly. I gave 4 stars for cleanliness because the balcony was not clean - My kid went outside to play and his knees would be black. But otherwise the inside was very clean.

Overall very nice!

Overall the condo was great and decorated nicely to give you that beachy feel. The balcony provided outstanding views and the location is wonderful! My only complaints were that the hallway bathroom toilet was constantly running and the air conditioner is extremely loud and when it kicked on throughout the night, it startled us every time. Also, we could not get the dishwasher to start which would have been a bigger issue if our stay had been longer. All three of these things have been mentioned by previous guests as well. One other thing that would have been helpful would be for there to have been more bath towels. Overall though, it was good and I would stay here again.

Awesome!

This unit is great! Other units in the building have the ac in the bedroom wall. They are really loud and would wake me up all night. This unit has the ac on the balcony so I slept really well! This unit also has a really string showerhead - which may seem like a small thing- but it was fantastic for blasting off the days worth of sunblock, dried salt, and stray sand. I also like that the balcony chairs are elevated so you can see the gulf without the balcony railing impeding the view. I've already booked this unit for next year!

Two property issues

Overall, we had a wonderful time here. The view was beautiful and the condo was clean. We brought our three kids and it was family friendly. The issue we had with the unit was that the air conditioning unit is in the wall of the bedroom. It kicked on through the night and would wake us every time. It was loud. We ended up sleeping on the pull out couch in the living room to distance ourselves from it. The only other issue was the funky smell of the main lobby. It was an overwhelming potpourri smell.

Overall it was fine

This was our first time staying in a large resort which brings about pros and cons. Cons - Waiting for the elevator in the lobby seemed like an event in itself and depending on the time of day it would almost be better to come back. Walking up to the 8th floor is not an option with luggage, groceries, and a baby. Umbrellas and chairs were not complimentary and there were so many rows it felt crammed. The beach itself was not very clean - my husband and daughter found several pieces of glass and there was always trash in the sand. Pros - the restaurant in the hotel was very convenient. Due to not being able to check in until right at 4, it was nice to be able to order dinner and walk down to pick it up. The drinks there were phenomenal. The dishwasher was leaking when we first got there and so it was nice to be able to call the front desk and have someone immediately come fix it. Overall, if you’re used to staying in a large, crowded resort the cons are par for the course. If you’re not used to it, then keep these things in mind.

Overall the place inside was good, AC was extremely loud, mold in bathroom baseboards, large paint buckets and tools in bathroom draw. Mirror on wall was clearly getting replays and missing all edging and molding.Parking was a huge issue with repairs being made to hotel it was extremely limited, the extra parking provided for plpparking lot is a bit of a walk and had zero lighting do at night with kids it’s not ideal.

Beautiful View

Overall stay was amazing. Room was wonderful with the exception of half bath not wanting to flush, full bath toliet kept running so we were constantly fixing it and tile on outside balcony when you walk out back door was broke. Had a couple of cut toes on 8 year old when she would come outside :( Other than those issues stay was great!!

Family beach getaway

First family vacation to Destin. Location was great! Right off the beach with a great balcony view! Resort is older, room has been updated some. Read reviews about A/C unit being loud, at that was spot on!! It is extremely loud, probably needs to be replaced with a quiet unit very soon, was hard to sleep at nice. Water pressure in shower wasn’t great, and dishwasher seemed to not always want to start/work properly. Attempted to check-in early, we were told room wasn’t ready and they would notify us when our unit was ready. Front desk never did this, went to front counter right a check-in time and they grabbed our keys from a basket, not sure why they didn’t contact us prior. We waited almost two hours, along with several other guests wanting to check-in. They all experienced a similar scenario being told rooms weren’t ready. Overall it was a nice stay, but resort needs some updating and a new/quiet AC unit is a must!!! Location and beachfront were both big pluses for our family!!!
