Vores ottende etage lejligheden er fuldt møbleret med alle de bekvemmeligheder af en luksus resort. Komplet med din egen parkeringsplads i vores private garage og en semi-privat elevator, der tager dig direkte til din Condo. Det har en rummelig stor stue, stort soveværelse med kingsize-seng, Gæst soveværelse med to enkeltsenge og en convertable sovesofa i det store rum. Det store badeværelse har en stor jacuzzi og bruseniche. Køkkenet er fuldt møbleret med opgraderede apparater, og vores condo har en ny vaskemaskine og tørretumbler. Hvert værelse har en fantastisk havudsigt og åbner på den store balkon, som har udsigt over den enorme lagune pool, børnepool, Hot Tub & smukke hvide sandstrand, der gjorde DESTIN berømt.

Family Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful time at this condo! It is a great location and they keep the pool area nice and clean. The view was absolutely beautiful! We enjoyed walking the resort grounds and lounging by the pool. Overall was a great stay!

Wonderful Accommodations!

We loved staying here! It was the perfect location for our young family, as we had easy access to the beach and heated pool. The property is beautiful and has all the amenities needed for a perfect beach vacation!

Perfect family getaway

Awesome condo and resort

We had a great time in Destin! The condo was well equipped especially the kitchen. We enjoyed the balcony and the pool the most. The gym and pickleball courts were amazing. The amenities were top notch! It was nice having a parking spot too in the garage. It was a little bit of a tight fit for our minivan but thankfully no one was in the parking spot next to us. It was nice to launder our beach towels also! All the grocery stores and big-box stores are close. The beach chairs were a nice bonus and plenty of beach toys for kiddos. We did rent an umbrella which was 35 a day on the beach. No outside umbrellas allowed.

The rental property was immaculate and everything matched what was on the listing.

Destin Fun!

Just loved this location with underground parking. Everything you need here is close by and in walking distance. Our Condo was awesome and clean. Will be back for sure.

Great Views

Our family had the best time at this property. Our boys (9, 5, and 3) loved the pool and the beach. Waking up and watching the surfers was great. The property was just as advertised and the welcome packet was very informative and helpful. We had a great time!

Gorgeous views and beautiful property.

We stayed in St Croix for the second time this year. The views are spectacular. The walk to the pool and beach are just moments away. This unit is so lovely with Everything you need to feel at home. Just amazing and what we needed to refresh and face the rest of 2020!

I cannot express how wonderful this condo is!! The resort is beautiful and well maintained. Very friendly and helpful staff all around. The views from the condo are absolutely amazing!! Whatever we needed for a wonderful beach vacation was all in our room!! Thank Frank for a wonderful family vacation! We definitely would book again!!!

Clean, great location, comfortable and beautiful!

This was a wonderful condo! Our favorite part is that both bedrooms were ocean view. It was clean, smelled wonderful and had everything you would need. Best, well equipped kitchen I have experienced. The pool is kept up so nice, walking distance to awesome restaurants. We were there the busiest week for July 4th. It is a location now for high schoolers to come July 4th week from Louisiana, so if you don’t want hundreds of teens around, you may want a different week. But if you have a teen, loads of fun! I would come back here. The owners are wonderful and accommodating. This unit won’t dissapoint you.

Beautiful condo, beautiful views

We so enjoyed our trip to Destin and our stay at Frank’s condo at Silver Shells. The condo has been recently remodeled (photos don’t do it justice!) and is spotlessly clean. The owners have thought of everything, from the check-I’m process and information about the area, to extra paper products and sanitizing wipes. There was more than enough room for us with our small children. The views from this condo are spectacular. We watched the sun rise from one end of the balcony, and enjoyed sunsets from the other end. The 8th floor is just high enough to get expansive views, but felt close enough for easy access to the beach, pool and parking garage. The location was ideal, with some great restaurants within walking distance and nearby shopping a short easy drive down the road. Overall, this condo is perfect for a family getaway! We can’t wait to come back!

All around awesome

It was a rocky beginning. VRBO did not tell the owner that we were coming down. Frank did step it up after hearing no instructions on how to get in condo. Everything worked out well. Communication with the owner was difficult, I sent numerous messages through the VRBO app and received no answer. Finally 6 hours before are so called arrival Frank did answer. He and VRBO did help and we arrived and checked in on time. The condo itself was excellent and everything we needed. The view was excellent. We have stayed in this complex 5x’s and this condo is the best. You can’t go wrong with this one.

Lovely Condo

We chose this condo for our stay due to location within a resort and access to beach and pool. Frank, the owner, was super helpful and communicative. He reached out prior to our arrival to ensure we received information for our checkin and stay, and was available throughout for any questions we had. Everything was really well written out so that we knew what to do once we arrived and what was important for our stay. It was a perfect location and felt like a home. Beautiful view and great beach/pool access. FYI, for the beach chairs, if you don’t use the ones in the condo and find a place to set up, the resort does charge $65/day to rent the ones the resort sets up. The condo owner said that was new and never had been an issue prior, so I feel like it may have been a slight misunderstanding on the staff’s part, or they just recently changed the rules. Either way, they came in handy so we had a good spot on the beach. The pool is large and has plenty of seating for relaxing. Overall it was a great stay, great location, and I would definitely rent here again. Thank you to Frank and his wife for the hospitality and a beautiful condo.

Beautiful unit - clean and comfortable. There is garage parking which was nice and the car was kept cool in there. The beach is gorgeous and the sand is like powdered sugar - super white and fluffy. Water was crystal clear. The view from the balcony was amazing especially when we could see pods of dolphins swimming by. We loved waking up and seeing the ocean right outside our bedroom window. One thing we didn't realize was that if you want an umbrella on the beach, you need to rent from the resort (you cannot use your own umbrella on their private beach)- this is 80/day for an umbrella and 2 chairs - it was fine but not an expense we were planning on. The unit has some beach chairs but no cart so taking all the chairs down with bags, towels etc wasn't feasible so we opted to just rent - it was nice and convenient. We'd stay here again for sure and I'd recommend to family and friends.

The perfection of this condo and the resort for our family of 4…well I will try to put into words! The pictures of this condo and resort sold us, but they don’t even do it justice! It’s way better in real life than in the pictures if you can believe it! The condo was perfectly clean, all beds incredibly comfortable, showers are big and clean and the condo has every thing you would need that you may have forgotten! The resort itself, top notch. We took advantage of all the amenities from the gym to pickle ball, tennis and basketball. The beach was never crowded, the pool was busy but never felt crowded. The groundskeepers worked hard every morning and the pool was always so clean. We walked to the Back Porch for dinner and was so nice, got amazing ice cream at Candymaker next door on our walk home. We were grateful for the extra beach chairs and all the cool toys the unit offered for the beach! We were grateful for everything this unit offered and this is the only place we would want to stay again when we return! The semi private elevators were so nice and never an issue with waiting! LOVED this unit and the Emerald Coast.

Just perfect

We stayed before the summer season got busy so it was a lovely and quiet overall. Just a wonderful property - both condo and resort. Perfect for our family of 5. The closet in the master has room for the pack n play, the master bed was so comfortable, the closeness to restaurants and the candy store - all made for a wonderful trip!

We are Geneva and Frank Barnhill. We have been married 55 years, and live in Dunwoody, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. We have been in the Jewelry Business for 56 years.

We have owned condos in Destin for more than 36 years, and at Silver Shells since 2002. We call it our HOME AWAY FROM HOME.

We visited Destin about 36 years ago and discovered it's beautiful beach, friendly people and many wonderful restaurants. In 2002 we stopped at Silver Shells for lunch, took one look at the view from our 8th floor condo, and bought it immediately. Silver Shells is an Upscale, Gated, Family oriented Beach Resort. It was the best family decision we have ever made.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

For us it is the Relaxation, walking on the beautiful beach, Spa, and the many wonderful restaurants we have discovered in Destin. We also enjoy breakfast, lunch and cocktails with a spectacular view from our balcony. Our children and grandchildren love the Beach, huge Pool, Playground and the many things to do at Silver Shells and in Destin.
