The Space:

Hurry, the sun is calling at SunDestin Beach Resort in Destin, FL!  Centrally located along the Gulf of Mexico, the resort offers up an array of amenities sure to accommodate your every whim. Start the day slow with a dip in the newly renovated outdoor pool. Graze in the lobby gift shop for beachwear, decor items, and supplies. Get in a workout at the fitness facility, followed by some relaxation in the outdoor hot tub, sauna, or steam room. Unwind with complimentary DVD rentals and head back out to enjoy the tiki bar (seasonal) or chill by the beach in a lounge chair with umbrella (fee). SunDestin Beach Resort houses more than 3,000 s.f. of meeting space, making it ideal for your large gatherings and functions. The concierge can assist should you have any questions about what to do off-property, and our warm and friendly Scenic Stays team will be available throughout your stay via our 24-hour on-site front desk as well.



SunDestin Unit 1711 is a bright and cheerful one bedroom, one bathroom condo accommodating up to four. Upon entrance, you’ll be immediately uplifted by the cheerful decor, open floor plan, and gorgeous views. The kitchen is stocked full of everything needed to prepare a tasty spread, with plenty of cabinets for storage and counter space for serving. Curl up on the queen sleeper sofa in the living room and catch a game or movie on the flat-screen TV. Savor the sunset on the balcony or call it a night and retire to the master suite, complete with a king-sized bed and flat-screen TV.



Renowned for its beaches, fishing, shopping, golf, boating, and nightlife, Destin, FL has it all and we’d love to share it with you!



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.



Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.

Please note: As part of an exciting resort enhancement project, some amenities at SunDestin Beach Resort are currently under construction, including the restaurant, and outdoor pool.



During this time, guests may continue to enjoy beach access via the ADA-accessible pathway located around the side of the building. We are thoughtfully welcoming reservations now and throughout the spring while setting clear expectations in advance to ensure a comfortable, positive stay during this improvement phase.



These enhancements are designed to elevate the guest experience for years to come, and we look forward to welcoming guests in Summer 2026 to a beautifully refreshed SunDestin Beach Resort—one that reflects the level of care, comfort, and coastal hospitality our owners and guests expect.

We had a great time! Be aware you basically have to rent chairs on the beach to have a good view while down there. They put the chairs so close to the water you can’t sit in front of them without being in the water. My only complaint with the condo itself is the air conditioner unit is on the balcony and you can’t hear the ocean over it while sitting out there. Bring your own towels for showering too just fyi. Overall we had a great stay!

There was Jack hammering at 8 am every morning. We were told they would not begin until 9 am and would not be working on Saturday but there was Jack hammering at 8 am Saturday as well.

Great weekend

Even though it was a holiday weekend (memorial day) we still had a great spot on the beach. It only took 10 minutes to get from room to sand! 3 adults stayed comfortably here.

Great vacation

The place was just as advertised. Clean, well stocked and the view.........WOW! The bed was really comfortable which made it hard to get up. Did I mention the view? The staff at Sun Destin are fantastic. Friendly and all willing to make sure that everybody's stay is perfect. Will definitely be returning. Thank you all.

Ocean beachfront getaway

Cute property in the best building! The staff was very friendly and willing to accommodate. The condo was cute, inviting and centrally located. Has all you need for the week. The AC unit outside on the balcony was so loud and annoying that spending any time on the balcony was not enjoyable at all. That was the biggest disappointment of all. Overall, a cute place.

Overall we had a good stay condo very nice. Only thing I can say is the fact that when you got on beach the people with chairs and umbrellas would not let you put up your own umbrella. They stated someone got hurt with a personal umbrella but they have there own umbrellas. This was never stated when booking. This was a scam to charge you 30.a day.

It was okay

I wasn’t happy that the splash pad was not working when I booked, I specifically asked if it was going to be out because I knew they were renovations. The front desk told me that it was working and it would not be out of service when in fact it was out of service. The phone in our room did not work therefore it was really hard to get a hold of the front desk. The knobs on the doors to the bathroom were broken, and one of my children actually got locked in the bathroom due to this! I was not made aware prior to booking that clean towels would not be provided every day and we had to pay to wash them or pay for additional towels, that was disappointing. There wasn’t clear communication upon booking.

Amazing beach location but could use some TLC

This condo is in an amazing walkable location to restaurants and amenities. Plus, who doesn’t want to be right on the beach? Our condo had all amenities you could think of except a blow dryer. Ladies, don’t forget that! However, this unit could use some love. There’s lots of maintenance needed including the shower drain not draining properly, the bathroom fan is very loud, tidying up the place - a deep clean is needed. However, the view is amazing in this condo. The owners just need to put a little love into this property.

We arrived and were told after being given the key to our place and realizing that it was not the condo we booked that it was still under construction. We were given a choice of two condos that were unacceptable compared to what we had reserved. We booked a condo with a full view of the beach and water. The options they gave us were two condos I had viewed online but did not have a full view of the water so I booked the condo with the view we wanted. We were beyond disappointed! We have stayed there before and had no issues. The employee that was trying to help us was great! We did not receive any kind of discount and had driven over 16 hrs for this trip. We were very disappointed!
