You will know you have arrived when you drive into the maritime forest and smell the salt air! With beautiful ocean and Bogue Sound views, this condo at Beacon's Reach in Pine Knoll Shores is sure to please. Coral Tides offers a master with king bed with stunning ocean views, along with a Queen- bedded room on the third floor, each room with their own private balconies. There is another king bedroom on the second level with private balcony overlooking the sound. The kitchen, located on the second level, features all stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a handmade farmhouse dining table that seats seven. The living room deck offers it’s guests a chance to relax and dine at the table while enjoying the dolphins and sunsets. An expansive bonus space on the first floor sleeps 3 in a twin over full bunk bed. A separate room on the lower level has a double bed with a private full bath. This area is a perfect retreat for kids, and this space features a full size air hockey table. Full baths are located on every level and televisions in every room.

The decks overlooking the ocean begs you to linger and enjoy the beauty and the convenient walkway to the beach will deliver you easily to the white sand beach. Wonderful Getaway

It was just what we wanted for a long weekend! A lovely place with beautiful views of the ocean. It was a quick walk to the beach and pool. A perfect place for families.

Comfortable and quiet

Wonderful off-season getaway. Great location. Would not want to stay there with more than 4 people though. LR was small.

Nothing major wrong with the condo. The towels, blankets and sheets need a deep cleaning. The beach access wasn’t easy for someone with challenges.

Restful, relaxing week at beach

We chose this property for the number of beds and separate areas. There were a total of 8 guests, 1 being 2 months old. The condo was accurately described along with the photos. It was clean, modern, had all the amenities we wanted. Beach was a short walk away, pool was super close with restrooms in covered pavilion. The kitchen was well equipped and well supplied and was used everyday. Views out sliders were breathtaking, 1 morning we saw 2 dolphins. Parking was super close and check in super efficient. We are so Blessed to have wonderful memories of our week here.

Grandparents, Children and Grandsons

Clean, higher end finishing, beds were very comfortable. I’ve would suggest that this property is best suited for younger children then 13-17 year olds. Children of this age usually don’t want to “bunk” in with each other. We did use a blow up mattress but there isn’t an abundance of floor space to accommodate it! The Beach is big, clean and not crowded at all!

Beautiful property with 2 bonus rooms!

We booked this 3 bedroom beach rental for us, our adult children and their partners. Conveniently the garage has been converted into two additional bonus rooms and an additional bathroom so our relatives were able to join us! The living room and bedrooms were comfortable and the kitchen was spacious enough and well equipped. The bathrooms were small but we were happy to have three. The balcony/deck off the living room was perfect for reading, eating breakfast, evening gatherings and star gazing. The pool and ocean beach access were conveniently located between the two buildings. The two reasons I gave location 4 stars is that there really wasn't anything in Pine Knoll Shores. We had to drive to Atlantic Beach, Morehead City or Beaufort for dinner and activities. In the other direction is Indian Beach and Emerald Isle but we really didn't explore that area. We rented bikes for the week but unfortunately there are no bike paths along the road in Pine Knoll Shores. We were able to use the bikes briefly in the surrounding neighborhoods. It would be nice if the bike trail went along the road like it does in Atlantic Beach and in Indian Beach.

Yes the property has been renovated; however, this is a highly trafficked rental. There was an odor present in the living room for the duration of our stay likely from the overused sofa and rug. All bed covers should likely be replaced as well as air filters. Property was as clean as it could be given the need for basic necessity updates the owner or rental agency should attend to. Lightbulbs needed to be replaced and there was condensation on vents dripping into rooms during some nights of our stay. Recommend proper airing out and deep clean of unit during the busy rental season on a regular basis. Trash was piled high and not attended to in a timely manner upon our arrival. Mattresses were comfortable despite no mattress pads being provided on any of the beds.

The condo had many nice finishes and was spacious. The kitchen had many nice-to-have items like a ninja blender, waffle maker, hand mixer, etc and was otherwise well-equipped. The views of the ocean and the sound are first rate. A few things future renters should know: None of the king or queen bedrooms has an en suite bathroom. The king room on the main floor shares a hallway bathroom with the kitchen/living area. The king and queen upstairs share a bathroom. The sink area on the upstairs floor is in the shared hallway with no door for privacy. The "other rooms" with a bunk bed and queen bed on the ground floor share a bathroom that is inside the queen room with the laundry. The room with the bunk bed and air hockey table is the room you enter from the front door and has no door to offer privacy or quiet for sleep. It is connected to stairwell to the kitchen and living area, so you could not watch TV, cook, or clean after someone went to sleep downstairs. These are things we wish we'd known before booking.A few small maintenance/improvement items we would address are: 1) the umbrella holder screws are rusted and can't secure the umbrella on the main deck. 2) It would be nice to have chairs on the other decks. 3) The air vent in the king room on the main floor was rusted shut. 4) A chair in each of the bedrooms would be nice to have. 5) The set screw on the kitchen faucet was missing and caused the handle to be loose.

My family of 5 and I stayed here for 6 nights in May 2026. The property was just as described. I was a bit worried about the walls on either side of the balcony blocking the ocean view, but the balcony views are better than what the pictures show. View from the master bedroom on 3rd floor also is excellent. The ocean is close enough to the unit for us to be able to spot some dolphins from the balcony.All furniture and kitchen appliances were of high quality. The property was very functional and clean.The umbrella on the balcony didn't work, but the hostess Tracy arranged for a rental umbrella within hours after I reported it.A couple of cons to be aware of:The kids room is very good and the air hockey table was working, but our kids didn't want to sleep there because it's "far away" from the rest of the bedrooms where my wife and I were. It's also the room the front door opens to and there's no child-proof lock on the inside, so my wife and I were apprehensive also.The carpet on the stairs are dirty and could use replacement. This is the only place where there's carpet.
