This home is a dream vacation spot. The house is beautiful and so accessible to walking into town and the beach. Gina was extremely communicative, check in was a breeze. I cannot say enough about this house. You will not be disappointed.

What a fantastic place. Having the deck and patio by the river added a really nice dimension to our stay. I read out there during the golden hour with ducks and seagulls diving into the water. Really beautiful. The gas heater was really easy to use and helped take the chill off!

The sign near the door says relax and that was all we did as soon as we arrived. The place was lovely, had everything we needed. Shops and restaurants are close by, walking distance, as is the beach. The deck by the canal was a beautiful place to sit at night with the fire pit going and just wind down. Thank you for allowing us to stay at this wonderful place

We stayed for an extended weekend in October and couldn't have picked a better location! The space was not only clean, just a quick stroll to the village center and the beach, and well-stocked with essentials, it's beautiful. We've stayed in Capitola before, but never on Soquel creek. We brought our canoe and enjoyed paddling up and down the creek and spent a ton of time on the dock. And, if you know Capitola, you'll understand how valuable having space to park 2 cars is! It was amazing to not have to worry about parking. I highly recommend this property.

AMAZING! This home was everything one would want or need. All rooms were clean and spacious. Great location just a very short walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The back deck on the river was where we spent 90% of our time and a great place just to relax. The host Gina was fabulous her response to any questions I had before check in were prompt. Check in and checkout were very well detailed out. Would highly recommend. One more note the home has a great driveway so no worries about parking.

We've stayed in the Capitola Village several times now. This was our first time staying near the river and we really enjoyed it. This house is close enough to the village that you can walk there in a minute, but far enough that you feel a world away. The house has tons of space to spread out: a deck on the river, a patio, and plenty of space inside. While we didn't cook, the kitchen had just about everything you could ask for. We'd definitely stay here again!

This home is just as charming, if not more so, than described. The location is perfect, just a block to Capitola Village/beach, with stores & restaurants on the water. The home is immaculate with comfy beds and all the amenities and comforts you will need. The decks/grounds are astonishing and the host, Gina, was very responsive and amazing to deal with. We loved our stay in this home.

This house is so pretty and comfortable, and it was very clean, light and airy. It is exactly as described and pictured. Great bedding, plenty of towels, and full toiletries. Gina was a top-notch host. Communication with her was instaneous, and she thought of everything to make our stay perfect. The outside patio and private dock had comfortable plush furniture and pretty landscaping. All the restaurants and shops of Capitola Village were a 5-minute walk away and could be reached via a stroll on the walkway behind the house next to the river. A perfect place to stay.

Lovely Outdoor Space

We enjoyed our stay in this rental in Capitola. It was the best of both worlds with a river and distance ocean view from the dock. It’s within walking distance to many great parts of Capitola. The outdoor space was amazing and we would definitely return to this property in the future!

Capitola

Great house with lots of charm! The host was responsive when needed. The location of the house is perfect! You have river views, walking distance to everything in Capitola and an amazing patio area! Would definitely stay again!

Family Beach Trip

We stayed here with our two young children for a long weekend at the beach and it was wonderful! The house was absolutely immaculate and beautifully decorated. It was just few minute walk to the beach and to downtown, but the house was still in a quiet area. Gina was great to deal with and check in and communication was easy. Overall a great stay and would for sure stay again.

Fabulous place in great location

This little gem is located perfectly just outside the hustle of the village. Right on the Soquel Creek, the back patios are adorable and cozy. Perfect for a little BBQ. The kitchen and living room are beautiful and functional. The bedrooms and bathrooms just lovely. We could have not found a better place. Everything was just that good.

Great location and comfort!

The house is set up perfectly for hanging out and eating together inside or out on patio or deck in front of river. Fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, couch and patio furniture. We spent weekend with our adult daughter and husband and found plenty of activities to do, including paddling on river with our inflatable SPB. Will definitely return with our friends this fall!

Wonderful stay!

If I could give this property more than five stars, I absolutely would! Not only was the house gorgeous inside and out but Gina was wonderful to work with and helped us with any questions we had with a prompt response. The location is perfect, a two minute walk into Capitola and the beach! The river is beautiful and the patio is so perfect with comfortable couches/chairs, fire pit, heater, BBQ, etc. We never wanted to leave! Every single thing about this house was amazing. We are already planning our return visit! Thank you, Gina!!

AMAZING!!!!

This place is incredible. I have been to Capitola for the past 15 years and this is hands down our favorite place. There are so many wonderful things about it that I am not even sure where to start. The location can't be beat. It's 2 blocks from all of the shops, dining, and beach. There is a beautiful deck that sits on the water. Plenty of outside space on it to relax, sit in front of the fire pit, and more. The house itself is beautiful. It slept 5 of us comfortably. It was incredibly clean and the communication with the owner was wonderful. We will stay here every year now.

The house and the property were nice. The location was quiet and in walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The only thing I would say is that I found the mattresses to be to firm, but that's it. I would stay there again.

Amazing Home in Terrific Location

This is a wonderful home. We can't wait to visit again. It is walking distance from Capitola for dinner and or a visit to the beach. The backyard on the river is tranquil and beautiful anytime of the day or night. Enjoyed morning coffee and evening wine by the fire pit. Property manager was very responsive and home was well appointed. Can't recommend the property enough. Hope to be back soon!

We had a wonderful visit. The house is in a great location, easy walk to beach, restaurants & shops

The house is lovely. It was very cozy, it has comfortable beds and sofa. We loved the outdoor area on the dock. The check in of getting the nest heat on and the tv streaming accessed was a little challenging, yet Gina was right on it, giving us instructions and turning heat on remotely. Gina provides lots of great suggestions for things to do, places to eat around Capitola. We highly recommend this rental and hope to return as well. We all agreed we could have stayed one more day. This is always a good sign when you don't want to leave : ) Cheers
