We booked Leonard's property for our family while we attended a wedding. The place was awesome. Leonard was SUPER helpful with the checkin process, explaining the nuances for parking, and answering questions in a very timely manner. We saw whales in Monterey Bay from the balcony and main bedroom of the unit. We were 20 steps to the sand, and a one minute walk to the downtown area of Capitola. Location, location, location.

Our stay was for a multi generational family birthday. The location was wonderful. It’s in easy walking distance to Capitola Village for shopping and dining. Being literally steps from the beach allowed the children to spend a lot of time at the beach. We brought frisbees and kites. Leonard, the host, had lots of sand toys for the kiddos to use as well as beach chairs and an umbrella. The home had plenty of room for the ten of us to spread out. When we arrived Leonard met us and showed us around his home. He also made sure to give us his personal parking spot. You get two parking passes for the street parking about eighty feet from the front door as well as the village. On the weekend it’s better to plan on not moving your vehicle once you get it parked. Finding another spot close by can be tough. Also if you have three vehicles you can be playing musical cars but all in all if you know ahead of time you can plan accordingly and the parking is very doable. Overall we had a great time at Leonard’s home.

We had an absolutely wonderful 3-night stay at this VRBO from Thursday through Sunday while celebrating a birthday and Mother’s Day weekend with our family of seven. The home was incredibly spacious and gave us plenty of room to relax, gather, and celebrate together comfortably.The property was fully stocked with everything we needed, which made our stay easy and stress-free. We especially loved the location — right on Capitola Beach with shopping, restaurants, wharf and everything we wanted within easy walking distance. It was also so convenient to park the cars and simply enjoy the area on foot.A special thank you to our host, Leonard, who was exceptionally caring and accommodating. He personally met us upon arrival, provided parking passes, and gave us a quick walkthrough to make sure we knew where everything was and felt right at home.We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a special family weekend. Highly recommend, and we would absolutely stay here again!

Our accommodations were clean, comfortable and a wonderful setting. Our host was considerate and took the time to walk through the home and explain everything. We've all agreed we are ready to come back for another wonderful family vacation.

Incredible location and accomodations

One of the best VRBO places we have stayed. Everything was either as advertised or better. Can't beat the location right off the beach. Leonard was a great host.

This place is fabulous! Spacious, clean, walking distance to everything you could want. (We went twice to Polar Bear ice cream!) We had a mini-family reunion for 8 ppl and everyone was able to have their own space. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need to cook scrumptious meals. The downstairs arrangement is a little tight for the bathroom needs of 4 ppl, and sound definitely carries, but otherwise, absolutely no complaints!

Ideal family weekend getaway

Perfect location for our family weekend. Steps away from the water, minutes away from shops and restaurants. Our host Leonard was very hospitable, and was rightfully proud of his property. Highly recommend.

We all had a wonderful time at Leonard's beach house in Capitola.

The property is well maintained and clean. It is comfortable for two families with children. The views from upstairs are fabulous of the beach.

Great location, wonderful family get away!

We stayed for a family get away with our kids and another family. The owner was very helpful and communicated well with us. The house was large and great for two families, with plenty of privacy for all. The views from the deck are great! We had a wonderful time and would book this place again in a heartbeat!

Great location, gracious host.

Great location, being next to beach and village, for our group of nine. Parking is limited, but overflow parking is available up the hill. Leonard is very accommodating.

Katie.....I'm glad you came, however, there was only limited parking because you came with 9 ladies in 7 cars. Also, our entire street was blocked off for the Capitola Fireworks Display. This happens only once a year for which there is normally plenty of parking.

The house was great and had everything we needed for a great long weekend!

Our stay was amazing. The house was perfectly located a few steps from beach and the village of Capitola. We cooked most meals at the house and the kitchen had everything we needed for 10 people. Leonard was very helpful and responsive to questions both before trip and during. We would rent the place again!

Such a Fun Place to Stay!

We loved staying at Leonard’s Beach Home! This Location is Ideal. Right on the Beach and a hop, skip and a jump from lots of Great restaurants and shopping. My family especially enjoyed the convenience of this location. We hope to return next summer! ☀️ Leonard was very helpful and accommodating!

Perfect location

My fiancé and I came with a group of friends for Labor Day weekend and would definitely stay here again! Leonard was so helpful and even saved us a parking spot. We loved being able to walk everywhere we were steps from the beach and close to all the restaurants and shopping. I loved leaving our windows open to listen to the ocean all night! We will be back !

Perfect house perfect location

We came here for a girls weekend and had such an amazing time. I highly recommend Leonard’s home. It was spacious, clean and walking distance to everything. We had the honor of meeting Leonard while checking out. He was always available to answer our questions during our stay and even responsive to our emails prior to our visit. Awesome Beach Getaway

Leonard was the perfect host and the house was the setting for a perfect family vacation. Leonard waited for us to check in and saved us a prime parking spot. His house was well appointed and had all if the necessary items for a great rental. We ate all of our meals in the house and used the outdoor grill too. The beach is steps away. The waves lull you to sleep. Book your stay now!
