Beautiful Topsail Reef condo with breathtaking views!

I'm sorry you found high tide disappointing; we make sure we are very transparent about the conditions on our end of the island so I am glad you were aware of this beforehand. Hi Justin! Thanks so much for your review! Guest feedback is valuable and important to us so we know how to keep our guests happy :) I'm so glad you enjoyed our beautiful balcony oasis! I hope you were able to spot some dolphins swimming by while you enjoyed the breathtaking views. I am sorry you found an issue with the cookware; we *just* replaced the entire set a few months ago! Unfortunately some guests do not care for these types of items respectfully, and their condition could decline prematurely. I will be sure to inspect the kitchen items at my next visit and replace any damaged items. Our beautiful island endured a nasty storm just before your stay, which caused some unexpected technical issues. I am glad we were able to guide you into rebooting the cable box and were able to rectify that issue on your first night. The keyless lock simply needed to be rebooted, and we offered to have someone come take care of this during your stay but you declined. We had the lock rebooted the morning you checked out and it is in full, working condition! We disclose that our condo is "modest" in our description, and are glad that you acknowledged the description as "spot on!" We update furnishing pieces if they are damaged or stained beyond cleaning, but our directly-on-the-beach condo is set up to be a clean, comfortable, and functional property where guests can enjoy their time at the island and not worry about paying extra deposits or fees to maintain high-end items. Our current furnishings serve this purpose and we'll be sure to update and change them as needed. We touch up paint and refresh areas as needed every off-season/winter, so you can look forward to that upgrade during a future stay :) Thanks for sharing those beautiful photos of your experience from/near our balcony. Hi Janis, Your complaints actually highlight the "Slice of Heaven" that our condo is! Our area of the island is peaceful, beautiful, private and quiet! Exactly the "relaxing beach getaway" you specifically said you were looking for when booking our condo! The beach is steps away and is never crowded since we are not close to public parking. There's many things to do right on the Inlet strip; multiple restaurants, the Tiki Bar directly across the street, as well as an ice cream shop minutes away. A short drive off New River Inlet takes you to a plethora of eateries, shops, and fun things to do! We have local magazines and an informational binder in our condo to help you with outing ideas. I also made myself available to reach out to if you needed anything at all. I'm glad you were happy with the condo and I hope you'll give our beautiful island another chance for a future relaxing trip.
