Great location and lots of space

We enjoyed our stay at Bea Nui. Great location and plenty of space for our group of 8 to spread out. Communication with the management company was seamless and we appreciated the late checkout option.

First impression was great. Looked as advertised and fit our needs perfectly. The only issue was the internet wasn't working. There had been a wind storm the previous week that must have knocked it out. I sent a text and they had a guy there within a few hours with a hot spot and had the intent fixed the next day. Great communication.

Lovely Mountain retreat

Great property, perfect for our group 9 adults 1 infant. Close to town, lake and some great hikes. Property management was quick to respond to any issue. We had a great time! Neighborhood was enjoyable to walk around. We would stay here again.

Beautiful, spacious home, and clean!

The home was great and spacious enough for a group of 10 people (8 adults and 2 kids). The house was very clean. The location is close to the Village and ski resort. Nice neighborhood. I would highly recommend this place.

4 Generation Family Vacation

We took our daughter, granddaughter, her husband and two children (7 and 5) for a family vacation and this property was perfect. It was delightful sitting on the back deck surrounded by trees and the kids were entertained watching squirrels, chipmunks, various birds and taking long walks through the quiet neighborhood. The layout and decor of the home was great, along with the location...close to grocery stores, restaurants, the lake, and various activities such as the awesome little zoo. All 5 adults agreed we would visit Big Bear Lake again!

A quick getaway

This property is lovely and comfortable. The master bedroom and bathroom seem new. A small quibble is that the bathroom doesn't have a main door and it has an automatic light that we couldn't figure out how to turn it off. The toilet is in its own room, which nice. But, when someone got up during the night, the automatic bathroom light shined into the bedroom. We solved that by unscrewing the light bulbs at night. We had seven adults and there was more than enough room. We grilled one night and ate on the deck as much as possible. The kitchen is well stocked, except they need more coffee mugs. Some have probably been broken and not replaced yet. Our two "complaints" were very minor and easily worked around. We would definitely stay at this property again.

Accurate listing

Overall the property was satisfactory. The property is as pictured. The property management company (Destination Big Bear) did not meet expectations and did not make us want to return to any of their managed properties. A note for future renters: 1) although garage parking is permitted, neither a garage door remote opener nor keypad code will be provided to the renter. The only way to park in the garage is by entering through the front door, walking through the entire house, and manually opening the garage door from inside the house. 2) cleaning/toiletry amenities are extremely limited. Not that you expect to clean much in your stay, but no broom/vacuum/ANY cleaning supplies/laundry detergent/etc is provided. There is plenty of toilet paper, but not much else is provided for your stay. 3) unless stated upon arrival, Destination Big Bear will not be of much help during your stay. We had a minor problem with the cleanliness upon arrival, but because we checked in in the evening (6pm) and brought up the issue once we realized after hours and reported at 9am the next morning, they were very reluctant to help.

Perfect Mountain Retreat

We stayed at this home with our two children and two other families. The home was immaculate and a perfect size for 10 people. Home was central to everything and all of the furnishings and decor were new. There was a shuffleboard table, ping-pong table, and foosball table which were so fun for the kids as were the board games that were in the house.

Mountain Bike Trip

Property was fine, check-in at management company could have been easier and avoided a trip to Destination Big Bear and should have gotten the lock box key code and gone directly to the property. I have a good rating with VRBO and rented many times and that should say something about my reliability.

Thank you for your feedback. The City of Big Bear Lake has regulations and rules that the host and guest must follow. Otherwise we both will receive a fine from the city. We do know this was an inconvenience to check in in person but we are thankful to have a quick efficient team who makes this process easy.
