Barefoot Breezes Luxury Beach Home. Renovated for a Fabulous Family Vacation!

If you're looking for that perfect beach home vacation...you've found it!
This gorgeous beach home recently underwent a $300K+ renovation to make it your dream vacation spot! 5 Bed, 4-1/2 Bath layout boasts four generous bedrooms (2K, 2Q) on the main level and one additional bedroom upstairs (2D, 2T)!

On the main level is the primary living room, dining area, chef's kitchen, (including all stainless appliances, huge island and a coffee bar!), two master suites (King beds in each) with en-suite baths, two additional bedrooms (Queen beds in each), full bath, an extra half bath, and laundry room with washer/dryer and second fridge.

Upstairs is a second family room, a great bedroom for the kids (2D, 2S), full bath w/tub, and catwalk to the front loft which is perfect for relaxing with a book and enjoying the amazing ocean views. Open the door and walk out onto the new upper level deck where the views only get better!

Back on the main, just outside the front door is one of the largest ocean-view decks on the island! This recently constructed oversized deck has stunning ocean views and runs the entire front length of the home. Hot out? No problem. Cool off in your private pool in the backyard, or walk the ~60 steps to get ON THE BEACH!

Flatscreen streaming TV's in every room, but with decks and beach views like this, you probably won't use them! Inside, the rest is all new, too (2021): beds, furniture, flooring, windows, paint, you name it! All perfectly situated on the quieter east end of the island!

This was our second stay at Barefoot Breezes, and once again we thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is perfectly located right across from the beach access and has a welcoming, comfortable feel that makes it easy to relax. We also appreciated the owners’ proactive communication and helpful information, which made everything seamless. We would highly recommend Barefoot Breezes to anyone considering a stay!

The pictures of this property do not do it justice! The perfect spot to stay if you have little kiddos! If the ocean is too much, there is always the pool where you can hangout at!

Relaxing Family vacation

Our family had a wonderful and relaxing week. The house was beautiful and had everything that we needed. The location was perfect for us and we enjoyed being away from the traffic and crowds. Will definitely return. Thanks for sharing your home with our family. We made some great memories
This end of the beach is almost private until around 11:30am!

Great layout for families

Open layout secluded private spaces. Great for multiple cooks and spending time together with your group. Beach views from the porch are glorious and access to the waves was easy and convenient as if you are oceanfront. Pool, Grill, and Games were great for kids big and small. A convenient outdoor shower and back door mudroom, laundry and 1/2 bath, make it easy to go to and from sandy and wet to cozy and comfortable.

Best Beach Accesses

We had seen Barefoot Breezes during a previous stay on the east end and when it popped up as the last house available for our week in May, I was blown away. It is typically booked out as it is practically oceanfront and directly across the corner from ocean access and just around the corner from inlet access! Most oceanfront homes on the east end do not have direct beach access across the dunes so ours was literally the closest. The house was beautifully appointed, our first ever to be completely “smell neutral” and by that I mean we smelled the food we cooked and the beach air with no other scents present so if allergens or sensitivity is an issue for you, then I highly recommend it! The floor plan was nice with two king masters with private baths (the closet in one is large enough to be a baby’s bedroom) and two queens sharing a bath. The upstairs bunk bedroom and bath was very spacious. The room slept a little hot with the door closed but with three toddlers rooming with me to give mom and dad a night off, an open door upstairs was not an option. The stairs are a little steep and there is a catwalk across the entire house between the kitchen and living room with all glass railings so if you struggle with a fear of heights or have younger children who are climbers, you just need to be aware. The seating on each side of the lofted area and the upstairs porch were so comfy and offered a beautiful and private view in the evenings once everyone else was sleeping. Book it!

Perfect Property

Beach house was beautiful! Location was nice being close to the north end of the island because there wasn’t a lot of traffic noise. Owner and property manager were wonderful when I had a question. I highly recommend this property!!

Amazing find in OIB

Barefoot Breezes has everything you would expect and want in a vacation home. The house was clean and spacious. The Master Suite is huge and has many special features. The upstairs was great for a teen hangout. The pool was a great comfort after being at the beach in the heat and for those who want to be in water but not deal with sand. The deck was a relaxing place for morning coffee and a great view of the ocean. This place is considered beach view but because it’s on the corner is almost beachfront. The owners were amazing about getting back to me with any information they had to make the trip more enjoyable. If I head back to OIB, I would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

This was our second year staying at this house. It has a great location and is very well maintained. After a day at the beach we enjoy the property’s bocce and corn hole games as well as the private pool in the evening.

Great stay

Communication with Pete was great. This was our second year staying here and it was amazing. Very close to the beach made it easy with toddlers. The pool was a hit and the layout inside is incredible for larger groups.

After two decades of visiting Ocean Isle and renting homes for family vacations, we decided to take the plunge and create our ultimate beach getaway. It's perfect for young, older and everyone in between. We have family members who have mobility issues so they don't spend much time on the beach, but love the ocean sights and sounds. We invested in this home because it gives the best of both worlds!

The home's location is fabulous as you have ocean views to the left, straight ahead, and to the right, and about 60 steps from the driveway...you're on beach! We rebuilt the deck and added an upper level to create one of the largest ocean view decks on the island! And if it gets a bit warm, just cool off in your private pool behind the house. We did our best to try and create a space for everyone to love and be comfortable in. As the home is on the east end of the island, not only do you have a quieter beach area, you have the entire island end with open beach (no homes) just a short walk away. We know you'll love it too!

Location, location, location! Tons of parking (6 covered, and up to 5 more uncovered). Beautiful enclosed pool area, decks with ocean views, and lots of room inside for everyone! One living room on the main, a second upstairs and a separate front loft gives everyone ample space to stretch out! It doesn't get any better on OIB!
