Great Property!

The house was really nice and had just about everything that was needed for our stay! The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes. There was plenty of balcony space for chilling out moments. The beach was across the street with easy access.

Fabulous Location! Just perfect!

We loved the house and most particularly the open floor plan with kitchen, huge dining table and plenty of space for card games! A 30 second walk to the beach. Plenty of tools for cooks of all kinds an outdoor grill! Lots of parking for large families and friends. Host was a great communicator and we are looking forward to coming back!! 5 stars!!! We loved it!

We had a wonderful week at OIB! The views from the porches were great and the beach access is two houses down. The kids loved playing at the beach and pool. The kitchen was very well stocked and we had plenty of room. We used Tad Photography for the second time to take family pictures on the beach and I would highly recommend. The linens were not included (which I believe maybe changed for future bookings) so the owner helped us rent some. Overall it was a great house for a large group and I would highly recommend!

It was a pleasure hosting your group, and we’d be honored to welcome you back for your next OIB getaway!

There was construction directly across the street all day starting at 8 am til 6 pm. That was not on the listing. When I asked the owner about it he was first rude and then asks if I wanted to cancel even though I had already been there 2 days. A lot of things need repaired and updated which I told the owner about.

This guest was very grouchy. The construction was across the street and the home was discounted due to the construction. The street is wide and I have no idea why this bothered her so much other than maybe she wanted a bigger discount. She did not tell me about anything that needed repair so that is completely false. The home is amazing and was updated when we purchased it. We have added an outdoor living area and ping pong. I think she needs another week at the beach.

Great Location

Nice house with 6 bedrooms. Quick walk to the beach access and larger than normal pool. Huge table and island seating was perfect for our eat in family. Online description says 5 queens but is actually 4 queens and 1 king. This is a problem when you bring your own bd linens. We had to do a last minute rental and paid $25 delivery charge for same day delivery.

Basically Oceanfront

This was our first year back at Ocean Isle after a few years at Holden at this was the perfect property to welcome us back! Despite being one row back, the house feels ocean front. You can see the ocean from the second floor and beach and ocean from the third. It’s a very short walk to the beach access. The beach wasn’t too crowded in this area and perfect for our family having to bring small kids and babies down each day. The pool was clean and perfect for the afternoon during baby naps. The room set ups were really great for people traveling with larger extended families. The cot in the master was also a wonderful surprise. The house was well stocked and the hosts were very helpful and communicative. Once we decide on a week, we will definitely consider rebooking!

We loved the proximity to the beach, the beds are SUPER comfortable, and the pool is amazing! Enjoyed watching the final World Cup game outside under the deck, and storage is great (except there was only 1 hanger in all of the closets. We bought some of those and left them for the next family.) The living room/kitchen area was big enough to hold the whole family!! Kitchen has just about everything (weirdly, no pizza cutter :-) ) and the weather was gorgeous windy and sunny!Had a couple of little hiccups The house was not ready for a 4 pm check-in on Saturday. It was closer to 5:15 pm. Just kind of a bummer after driving 10 hours to have to wait even more. Bunkbeds were not made. Sheets were just in a pile on the bed. The home is so nice, but just not as clean as one would have expected upon arrival for the price point. We tried to leave it in better shape than when we came. There were slats missing from both the upper and lower deck which made watching little ones a constant battle when trying to enjoy the wonderful ocean view. However, the owners, who answered concerns promptly, are replacing the decks this fall, so that won't be a problem anymore.

We had a perfect family vacation week at this house! Plenty of separate spaces for the different age groups to hang out, but also enough room for all of us in the main living area such as at meals. We cooked in for every meal all week and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. Three things made the house better than we expected: there is a roll-away bed in the master bedroom closet, the couch and a half in the upstairs hallway converts to a single pull out bed, and the house provides (really nice) beach towels in additional to the typical linens you would expect! Thanks for your wonderful hospitality. We will be back for sure.
