We really loved our stay here. We've been to la jolla multiple times and have stayed in different houses. This was a great house, the kitchen is fully stocked, it's spread out with lots of outdoor space. Very clean and comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.

This place was phenomenal! It was in a great location and large enough to accommodate my large extended family (my spouse and I, our two kids, my father-in-law, and my parents). The owner was responsive to any questions we had, it was clean, and we simply loved it. It was also very well-stocked in the kitchen. We didn’t want to leave when our time was up.

Marvelous in every way

We spent a week here for spring break with our two young children, our teenager, my husband, me, and my mom. The house was absolutely ideal for our needs. We have stayed in many properties. This was by far one of the best. The neighborhood and location are optimal. Very easy walking distance to shop and restaurants. Safe and beautiful area. Very quiet and peaceful. Awesome accessibility to anything you’d like to do. The house itself fit our needs so well that it truly cost us to have one of our best vacations ever. It’s spacious, clean, bright, the kitchen is awesome for all of the cooking we did, and the bedrooms are perfect for families. All three of my kids happily slept in the kids room. The views are stunning and there are many wonderful spots in the house to relax and enjoy. If we come back to the area, we want to stay in this house again. The host was marvelously responsive to all of our requests and very supportive. Truly a one-of-a-kind vacation and an unforgettable and lovely experience.

A La Jolla gem

My family of eight really enjoyed spending Christmas week in this great cottage in La Jolla. The house was cozy, it had everything we needed and the property manager was responsive and helpful. I recommend it highly and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again in the future.

The house was great and the bonus was a super responsive host!

My clients needed a nice place to stay while their home was getting repaired. We asked the host to allow a couple day booking so they could test the place out and see if it was a good fit for a more lengthy stay and the host was very accomodating about it. The place was exactly what they needed and we ended up extending. My clients were really happy with the home and the host was really quick at responding. The home had no issues at all and was exactly as described.

The Best Experience!

This house is awesome! Eight of us travelled to stay here, and the only Ubers we ever took were to and from the airport! The house is walking distance to anything you want to do in La Jolla! It has so many fun spots to hang out that we enjoyed time on the patio, in the back, and in the fabulous kitchen. We would stay here again and again. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

Great House in a Perfect Location

We had a wonderful stay! Super easy check-in and out and easy parking. The house is very comfortable, beautifully and tastefully decorated, well stocked with everything you need, and plenty of indoor and outdoor areas to connect and relax. We had two families together and there was plenty of room. We loved the location which was an easy walk to loads of shops and restaurants. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Great Accommodations; Great Location!

Located within walking distance from La Jolla Village. The house easily accommodated 7 adults with clean comfortable beds, large kitchen and even ocean views from several windows. Owner responded quickly to any questions we had. We had a great stay!

We loved the Pearl Cottage :)

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Absolutely loved the neighborhood, felt very safe. Although there were some maintenance issues with plumbing during the stay, our host Karen was so lovely and quick to resolve issues for us. Would go back in a heart beat. Thank you.

Lovely Stay

We stayed at this VRBO for 3 nights and it was perfect for our group of 7! The backyard and side yard patio were very nice when it was sunny. The house was a quick walk to downtown La Jolla and the beach, but be prepared for an uphill climb on the way back. The house had everything we needed. Comfortable Linen, plenty of pillows, towels, paper towels, tissues and TP. Beautiful view of Ocean. Very high end appliances. The host was very accommodating and always available for any questions. Overall a great experience. The house was decorated beautifully! Very instagramable

Amazing kitchen, spaces and more (careful of the hot water)

PROS • Great kitchen!!!!! • Comfy furniture • Instruction booklet in the living room with suggestions and user manuals • Internet connectivity • There was a nice welcome basket of goodies. • Proximity to shops and restaurants • Lots of spaces both inside and outside • Karen’s personalized artwork is a nice touch • Big bathtub But, • Says there is a spa/whirlpool. There is not. • Message said there are 2 boogie boards. There are not. WARNINGS • Bathtub—CAREFUL of the hot water. It is so efficient that my niece was burned by the metal of the faucet water. I only mention this as a warning. The tub itself is fantastic. • Front steps could use a safety marking along front edges. Half of us tripped from the top to middle steps as they appear to be the same level in some lighting • Street-side porch door must be locked to stay closed, or propped to stay open, otherwise it bangs in place. • 3RD bathroom is off the kitchen—those staying downstairs must walk through the living room and entryway to get to it. • Limited/Bring with you: trash bags, paper towels, toilet tissue, cooking oil, spices and blankets. • Sound travels throughout the house.
