This large, beautiful home is located in the Mustang Royale beachfront community. The coastal d is carried throughout with an inviting and sophisticated feel. The new boardwalk that is now Golf Cart Accessible is a wonderful added extra to haul all of your items to the beach. The game room/bedroom will keep the kids busy for days.
The ground-floor foyer leads to the guest bedroom, complete with a King bed, nightstands, suitcase stand, dresser, and TV. Take in the view of the pond with access to the back patio from this room. There is a full bathroom in the hallway with a tub/shower and plenty of counter space for your toiletries. For your convenience, the laundry room has a full-size washer, dryer, and an area for ironing and hanging clothes. The bonus room/bedroom is accessed through the garage. This is the perfect area for the kids to stay and play. Play a competitive game of basketball, chess, checkers, or Pac-Man. This room also has a sink for washing and cleaning up. Walk out the French doors to the covered patio where you can grill, eat at the picnic table, relax in the porch swing, or walk a few steps to the pond and cast a fishing rod.
Venture upstairs to find the family/dining area and 3 additional bedrooms. The second level is covered by tall ceilings and access to huge balconies both in front and back. The kitchen is fully stocked and offers granite countertops with stainless steel appliances. Enjoy dining for 8 at the large dining table with an additional 2 at the breakfast bar. Catch your favorite sport or movie while lounging on the plush sectional. Walk out to the back balcony to take in the water view of the pond that wraps around the side and back of the house. There is a half bath in the hall for your convenience. The third bedroom by the stairs can also be used as an office. It consists of a twin daybed, pull-out Twin trundle, desk, closet, and doorway to the front balcony. The master bedroom off of the kitchen has a King bed, nightstands, dresser, TV, and sitting area perfect for reading a book. Hang your beach attire in the walk-in closet. The ensuite bathroom has a stand-alone glass-enclosed shower and double vanities. Sip your morning coffee on the balcony in the ocean breeze from this bedroom. Up the landing, a half-level is the Crows Nest with views for days. This separate space has a Twin over Twin bunk bed. Cool off in the new pool on the side of the home that can be heated during the winter months. Pack your bags and bring the family for a vacation to remember.

Would not recommend!

The property is in a good location but the house itself we had issues with. On VRBO it advertised as a 3 bathroom property but it is 2 1/2. The games it mentions, some do not work. There was not a door knob on one of the bathroom doors, ice maker/water did not work and my bedding was dirty and disgusting. Life in Paradise did try to correct some of these issues but not all. They also reimbursed me for 1 night

Family Beach trip

We were 7 adults, but were mostly singles, only one couple. We needed lots of bedrooms and privacy. We loved most of the things about this rental. Spent lots of time in the pool or on the balcony. The bathroom placement was awkward - having to go inside someone's bedroom to use the bathroom. The gameroom/5th bedroom had a mold /mildew issue which made that room unusable to some of us.

Resort feel with privacy of a home

This trip was much better than expected. The house was very clean and the location was extremely quiet. We veey much enjoyed having the golf cart to drive to the beach but also the provacy of having oir own pool. The management was veey responsive when we had a couple of mai tenece issues come up. Great location amd we had a fantastic time.

Very disappointed

This home was so poorly kept up, very dirty and grimy, the dishware was so gross that we went out and bought paper plates and plastic utensils. We scrubbed the one pot we dared use and just re-used that one all weekend. Then my elderly father stepped into the downstairs shower only to find a mouse in the shower with him. I'm very grateful he didn't slip and injure himself. There were dog pee stains all over the rugs. We were shocked at the condition of this home. For the price we paid I highly do not recommend this rental home.

Great views

We had a great time. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Great location. The golf cart was waiting in the driveway. The views of Corpus from the back porch and the sunsets are great!

Fun family getaway.

Home was very spacious. Kids enjoyed big room downstairs. Golf cart was very convenient and pool was nice and relaxing. Had an issue with the dishwasher but was sent maintenance right away. Other than that we really enjoyed this home.

Family vacation

The location was fantastic, but the house wasn’t very well stocked items you would normally find in a rental. For example, there were only 4 plates in the kitchen, and we couldn’t find a broom anywhere. Layout was also interesting; the two full bathrooms are only accessible through bedrooms, but we made it work.

Great location with heated pool is a plus

This house is in a great location with easy access to the beach. Our families enjoyed the spaciousness of the living, kitchen and dining spaces as we were all able to be in there comfortably. It was a pretty chilly week so the heated pool was a hit with the kids. The layout of the house with the loft atop vertical stairs would be difficult for some toddlers and elderly guests. The room that can only be accessed through the garage/backyard took us a few minutes to find since it is not inside the main house. We were unable to locate a broom, vacuum or cleaning supplies which we really needed so we could clean up after ourselves on a daily basis. Overall we enjoyed the house and our trip to Port Aransas.

This is what (birthday) dreams are made of.

Everything was just as described in the listing! The beautiful swing was perfect to sip coffee on each morning. The kitchen had every tool needed to create group meals. The golf cart was amazing and incredibly convenient to cart all our stuff to the beach! Although we made due and things were great- here are a few things we felt were missing during our stay: - A few more dish towels and a dry rack to dry pots and pans on the counter - some sort of all purpose cleaner to keep the kitchen tidy between meals. - I noticed there were only coffee filters but no coffee. A little pantry with dated items would have gone a long way. Even k cups would have been awesome! - a swifter wet jet with disposable pads and/or a dust buster to tidy after a day of use. - we noticed there were a lot of dishwasher pods but it would have been amazing to have 2 laundry pods during our stay. - if possible, having charcoal provided for the grill would have been AMAZING as for a short stay it is a ton of product to bring and pack. Same for wood. Just one little bunch would have been an amazing touch! THIS WAS AN OVERALL AMAZING WEEKEND IN A BEAUTIFUL HOME & great location! 10/10 recommend!!

Beautiful but a bit complicated

The property is beautiful but if you are a group of adults and anyone has issues with stairs one of the rooms is up a flight of stairs and then up two sets of what looks like kids bunk bed ladder stairs. I don't like to complain but reading previous reviews and knowing the issues haven't been corrected is a little ridiculous for the amount of money paid to rent the property. It takes the dryer 2-3 cycles to dry a small load of laundry. The dryer is very outdated and does not work correctly. This issues were noted on previous reviews from 2021 and the blinds are still broken in the downstairs room with the window facing the seating area outside which isn't a big deal if you don't mind people outdoors watching you change clothes. Also you should know that in order to shower you must use a bathroom that is in someone's bedroom. There is not an accessible common area shower for everyone. There is a half bath. Toilet only no shower on second floor. There is a shower in the down stairs bedroom and one in the master bedroom upstairs. There is parking for 4 vehicles. 2 in the garage and 2 in the driveway but if you are a group with trucks then you have parking for 2, not 4. The location of the home was great. The pool was great to have after a day on the beach. The kitchen area was very nice. The house is just very awkward in the way it is designed. Everything was clean and comfortable. The AC worked great.

Great property for family birthday trip

Our family and friends really enjoyed our stay at this property. The pool was perfect for evening dips after hot days at the beach and the layout of the home was beautiful. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out or come together. The golf cart made it so easy to get around the beach. We would absolutely stay at this property in the future.

Ups and Downs

Pool heater was not on as planned. They quickly came to turn it on but it was broken. Key reason I rented this house. The management company was very easy to work with, they tried to get it fixed and kept in communication about it. The dryer in the unit is still not working correctly. Boxes for something blocking the use of the garage on one side. Some of the items in the game room were broken or didn't fully work. But we still managed to have a good time. Bar area was helpful for the overflow of items and for preparing beverages. Also, in the contract, it says don't turn the thermostat below 74! What?! Luckily outside temps were cooler.

Family Summer Vacation

We were so excited to get to go on vacation this year! The house was absolutely perfect! Everyone was comfortable- all the beds were beyond relaxing, the house was impeccable! We would definitely like to stay again!

Disappointing

Giving this property one star due to false, misleading information posted by the owner and property management company. The property description claims this house has 3 full baths under the "About this rental" section and within the "Rooms & beds" section of the listing on vrbo. I rented this property because it was advertised as having 3 full baths when in reality there are only 2.5 baths. Cons: fans and lights in the living room did not work, previous reviewer posted in May 2021 and the owner and property management still have not fixed, cobwebs outside on the patio and in front door area - need more attention paid to property along with pest control, mosquito infestation at night in pool area, toilet seat on first floor was cracked, causing backsides to get pinched when seated, blinds in downstairs bedroom were destroyed, floor tiles were broken and loose in master bath, shortage of bath towels, microwave was horrendous - needs serious deep clean, dryer takes several cycles to fully dry clothes, no public access to full baths - have to enter through bedrooms, no kitchen trash bags provided as part of our stay Pros: nice location, beds were fairly comfy, pool area had sufficient furniture, living room couch provides comfortable, adequate seating for large parties, sufficient airflow downstairs, access to two car garage, nice home decorations I would not recommend staying at this property due to the owner and property management company and the way they conduct business. I tried working with them privately before posting this review, but they were uncooperative and difficult to work with.

Everything was as described at the property and it was very clean. Perfect for multiple families with children, we all enjoyed ourselves and the kids had plenty to do with the pool and gameroom , not to mention the fishing right out the back door.

We enjoyed our stay.... Having to drive on the beach every time we left was a bit of a downer but we made it work. The house was nice and we all fit good. Very nice neighborhood. The basketball game was broken and man were we worried about being blamed. I notified the owner and all was good. We will be back.

Accommodating and Comfortable, if Sometimes Awkward

The location is great. Street is a dead end so there is hardly any traffic. There was a nice two car garage we were able to use. The beach is within walking distance and the property management company provided a complimentary golf cart for the first 24 hours, making beach trips super easy. They gave us the option to check in early but I don't think they relayed that to the maintenance crew, who were blocking the driveway and hadn't finished cleaning up outside when we arrived. No big deal, but seems like they need better communication with their staff. The house itself was very nice: nicer than the pictures. The walls seemed well-insulated: the master is right off the living space but when we shut the door we could hardly hear the kids out there. There were problems with some of the appliances though. The hood vent didn't work and the dryer took four or five cycles to actually dry clothes. The remote control for the fan in the living room was also broken. The pool was small but perfect for the kids to swim when we didn't want to walk to the beach. It also backed up to an inlet which was great for the kids who wanted to fish. One thing I would change is better access to the bathrooms. There are only two bathrooms with showers and they are both in bedrooms: there is no common access to a bath with a shower. Overall it was worth the money and we were comfortable.
