A 200 m walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, the 450 m2 Villa JEROME is nestled in the exclusive 'Bonita Village' estate, a private residence with 24-hour surveillance with swimming pool and direct access to the magnificent beach "las ballenas".

The villa is distributed on 3 levels, it is composed of:

* All the rooms of the house and terraces have a magnificent sea view.

* 2 private pools.

* Intermediate level: Living-dining room (90 m2) with a magnificent panorama of the sea and the mirror swimming pool thanks to large bay windows + American kitchen area with its 2 bars + Additional outdoor kitchen under a covered terrace with its barbecue and plancha to grill lobsters and fish.

* Upper level: reserved for suite 1 with its large terrace, infinity pool, covered outdoor living room, dressing room, bathroom and toilet.

* Lower level: master suites 2 and 3 with bathroom, dressing room and terrace + 3 suites 4, 5 and 6 with private bathrooms all with sea view + a massage room.

THE + OF THIS VILLA:

+ Daily cleaning (from 9 am to 3 pm), the maintenance of the garden and the 2 swimming pools are provided by our staff.

+ A cook (on request) can prepare delicious dishes, fish and tropical desserts for you.

This exclusive property is surrounded by exotic landscaped gardens that blend naturally into its surroundings.

RESIDENCE BONITA VILLAGE :

High-end condominium benefiting from hotel-type services: guarded entrance and 24-hour surveillance, cleaning assured, access to a large 32-meter long swimming pool bordering the beach.

Optional services: groceries, cooking, childcare, etc.

The residence has been designed to preserve the nature of the place and in particular the bodies of water. On the way to the sea, you will cross wooden bridges that overlook a small salt river in the middle of lush vegetation.

AUTHENTICITY & ACTIVITIES:

Bonita Village is located on the seafront in a vast tropical garden with direct access to the beach of 'Las Ballenas', reputed to be one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. It is both away from the hustle and bustle and just minutes away from a wealth of activities and authentic local life. Far from mass tourism sites such as Punta Cana or Puerto Plata, Las Terrenas is a fishing village, where visitors and very welcoming locals blend harmoniously into everyday life. The nearby leisure activities will satisfy a demanding clientele: in addition to the water activities typical of the Caribbean, there is the discovery of a remarkably preserved nature. You will also discover the 'Fisherman's Village' (Pueblo de Los Pescadores) 1.5km away with many very good beach restaurants cooking seafood, some with French chefs.

The house was even more beautiful than the pictures. It is in a gated community, which is a plus. The two ladies that come in every morning for housekeeping are so sweet. And we paid extra to have them cook a dinner for us one night and it was fantastic. Check-in and communication was a little challenging because The owner and the management company (AIC)do not always communicate well with each other it seems. That caused a hiccup in our arrival. We all absolutely loved the house and cannot wait to go back.

Great house with well appointed and large bedrooms. Everything was clean and in good condition. We had an issue with hot water that they fixed quickly. Staff was great - Cooke breakfast for us every morning. Walk to the beach is easy. It’s the neighborhood beach (Ballenas) which is more local as opposed to more touristy Bonita. Bonita is a 20 minute drive even though it looks super close on the map. Would stay here again!

Amazing place--gorgeous location!

Villa Jerome was a great spot for our group of four couples (with a 2-year-old and a nanny), just 40 minutes from Samana El Catey airport, the location was convenient (about a 5-minute walk to the western end of Playa las Ballenas), but secluded enough and in a gated/guarded community. The villa was gorgeous and well-appointed, but Carmen, the maid, was the best, and we hired her to cook several meals for us.

Stunning home

We had a wonderfull time at the home .Didn't even know that Carmin the housekeeper would be there to get our groceries and make breakfast for us. Wonderfull breeze and views. Just realize it is not right on the beach and takes a 10 minute walk which is good exercise.

Thank you for your kind appreciation. We remind our customers that the house is on a hill 200 meters from the beach. You can take a private staircase from the house to the path that leads to the beach; rather than following the road which is then a bit longer.

This property sits atop a beautiful mountain in Las Terrenas with absolutely stunning views (10/10). It’s only a quick 10-minute walk to the beach, where you can relax on lounge chairs and have drinks and food brought to you all day. Taxi rides into town are inexpensive, but I recommend renting a car if you plan to stay here.The maid service and in-house chef were incredible. We enjoyed a variety of delicious meals multiple times a day. The area is gated and has several security guards throughout the development, which added an extra sense of safety.The only downsides were that the outdoor area was extremely slippery since it’s fully tiled, and there’s no air conditioning in the main living area of the house (although each bedroom does have its own AC, which was great).Overall, our stay was amazing, and I would definitely do it again!

Phenomenal experience

This stay was absolutely everything that my wife and I could dream of. The house was stunning! The views were breathtaking and we were accommodated with everything we needed during our stay. We also enjoyed the services of the private chef and housekeeper. We only recommend not to use the driving service provided due the fact that the experience with the particular driver we had was not very professional.

Unexpected beauty

The property is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need, including Carmen. Carmen the housekeeper comes daily and is so accommodating and such a good cook. We had her make breakfast and sometimes lunch and loved the authentic Dominican fare. She'll run to the store for you and is super helpful and always smiling. Views are spectacular, super short walk thru property to the beach, but renting a side-by-side or Quad is easy and nearby also. The beaches are the most beautiful we've ever seen and we've been all over. Randy the host was very helpful in arranging rides and even ordered a taxi for us when we had to make a trip to the ER late at night. Just can't say enough about this place - we will be back!

Absolutely Beautiful

The pictures do not do this property justice. The views are absolutely Breathtaking. It is located about a 10min walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in Las Terrenas , Playa Las ballenas. The house itself is gorgeous. We were a family of 12. Rooms were good. We had a minor glitch when the lights went out one evening for a couple of hours leaving us without hot water. Only other thing that may not please some ppl is that you have to pay electricity usage at the end of your stay. We stayed there 5 days and it was $120 US dollars which I thought was a little high but we were 12 and it's a huge house so I don't know. The cook Carmen was amazing. I will definitely keep this property in my return list!

Relax and enjoy the views

The pictures of this place is exactly what this home and outdoor space looks like. The views of the ocean and mountains are beautiful. The bedrooms are all spacious and comfortable. Each bedroom has a bathroom however getting warm or hot water was not guaranteed. The housekeeper, Carmen was a necessity. The kitchen indoors needs some updating but Carmen is a pro and handles the kitchen with ease and served amazing meals with lots of love and laughs. Also recommend chef Daniel for a special dinner and cocktails. Issues that popped up (clogged drain, lost power) was handled with rental agent in a reasonable time. The walk to the beach is down some steep stairs but safe. Having the house set so high up provides the spectacular views. We enjoyed the pools everyday. If you are looking to relax and enjoy time with friends and family this is a perfect space.

As far as hot water is concerned, you have to be patient and get the water running well because the house is very large and the gas water heater is located under the garage for safety reasons and the water indeed puts a little time to service some rooms. As far as the kitchen is concerned, we have indeed decided to completely redo it in the spring of 2023. The old one, imported from Italy, is only 9 years old, but the arrivals from the sea are accelerating its ageing. This year we have, as you have seen, built an additional kitchen outside with BQ and Plancha to be able to prepare grilled meats and fish. Great house for our group of 11

Villa Jerome was amazing. The views from this property are spectacular. Perfect picture for a travel magazine. ;-) For months we looked forward to this vacation and it did not disappoint. Our main contact for the property was Edoardo. We requested the chef option and for groceries to be purchased before our arrival. He was very helpful in arranging this and also the transfer from the airport in Santo Domingo. The maid, Carmen, is very friendly and looks out for the guests. It felt like she went way beyond her maid duties to provide us full service. I was usually up before everyone so I got to enjoy conversations with Carmen as she prepared our breakfast. Her meals were delicious. You can also hire her to cook lunch or dinner. The house itself is beautiful. Great space for everyone to hang out together. Having 2 pools was definitely a selling point. I had the master bedroom upstairs with its own pool but we ended up using both pools as a group. Each room has its own bathroom and has access to the same gorgeous view. It’s a short walk to Playa Las Ballenas (7-10min). The main strip of town is probably too far to walk if you want to get there fast, so you may need to take a cab or drive. However, if you take a stroll on the beach and gradually make your way there, it’s not too bad. I could go on and on about Las Terrenas and the surrounding towns but I’ll finish up with a few things about the house. There’s air conditioning(costs extra but very inexpensive). There’s a washer, dryer, and iron. Each room has a hair dryer. There are towels for the pool/beach and of course bath towels. 24 hour security makes you feel safe. The guards are not just at the gate but they also patrol the streets of Bonita Village. It’s like living in a private hotel, with views that you see in commercials for travel. We recommend this house. Be nice to everyone that is there to make your stay enjoyable. They work hard so compensate them well. Ps. Download the “Komida” app. You can order food, liquor, and other products delivered to the house from local restaurants, liquor stores, supermarket and ice cream shops. It was a life saver.

Magnifique villa avec une vue exceptionnelle

La maison est encore plus belle en vrai que sur les photos. Les grandes portes vitrées permettent d'ouvrir tout grand la pièce de vie sur la mer, la piscine et les collines environnantes. La cuisine ouverte et conviviale, permet à tout le monde de se rassembler. Il y a beaucoup d'intimité entre les chambres et plusieurs espaces pour se détendre. La suite du haut avec sa piscine privée est à couper le souffle. On peut y dormir à la fraîcheur de l'air climatisé ou encore mieux avec la porte ouverte avec le vent du large et le bruit des vagues. Environnement sécuritaire et paisible. Nous n'avions pas la sensation d'être dans une enclave touristique à outrance, il y avait de l'authenticité notamment grâce à Carmen. Carmen assure un service d'entretien et de cuisine sur demande impeccable. Nous avons eu recours à ses services pour nous préparer trois délicieux repas du soir (demandez le poisson grillé sauce coco!) Même si la maison est perchée en hauteur, il n'est pas si difficile d'atteindre la plage par un escalier qui serait toutefois à déconseiller pour les gens qui ont plus de difficulté de mobilité. Jacques, le gestionnaire de la propriété est avenant et a répondu promptement à nos questions, organisé nos transports et est allé faire des courses pour nous au village ce qui fut bien pratique. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut en ville, il faut toutefois s'y déplacer en taxi, c'est une bonne heure de marche. Nous recommandons cette villa sans hésitation.

Impressionnante villas

Séjour du 21 au 28 janvier 2024, nous avons adoré la Villas Jérôme. Cette propriété est immense et très bien localisé, 7-8 minutes de marches jusqu’à la plage. Carmen nous a cuisiné nos déjeuner et souper alors que nous avons décidé de dîner à la plage dans de petits restos. Elle a également fait nos commissions pour la nourriture et les boissons alcoolisées. Elle ramène la facture et nous lui donnons le montant inscrit, très plaisant comme service. La plage est exceptionnel, la nourriture sur la plage est excellente. La nourriture et les boissons alcoolisées sont au même prix qu’au Québec , aucune économie à faire de ce côté. C’était une semaine mémorable avec 4 enfants entre 4 et 8 ans, nous avons tous apprécié nos vacances.

Lovely trip

Loved everything about the trip and location. The home was great and Carmen made the experience that much better. Everyone made us feel like family and we cannot wait to come back. The beach was a little bit of a walk up some stairs but it was very much manageable. If anyone in your group cannot manage stairs I’d recommend renting atvs. The pools were clean and refreshing. Jacques was also helpful and easily accessible.

Amazing Home. Amazing experience.

We had the best time. Amazing architecture meets amazing landscape. Prime location. Carmen is the most special human being. She felt like family. Will definitely come back year after year if they let me.

Amazing Villa Jerome !!!

Paradise is the correct word that sums up our time here & will be your experience as well at this beautiful home. Here, you cannot go wrong. We were very happy with our entire stay & pleasantly surprised. This home is so unassuming huge. It allows you to be able to get away if you want but also come together comfortably. 1. We will like to THANK the owners for renting out their absolutely wonderful home to us. It is absolutely stunning & we had such an amazing time. 2. 2nd level is the common areas that come with total unobstructed views of the beach & the surrounding areas which are simply OUTSTANDING! Allows for views of the colorful sunrises & sunsets which are beautiful. This level has floor to ceiling pocket doors that allow you to bring the outside inside. It also allows for air cross breezes & is well ventilated. There are powerful & sturdy ceiling fans that you control just how much power of the air flow you want. On this level is the first pool. Early morning dips were wonderful & so refreshing. The kitchen was fully stocked for us so we could cook comfortably if desired. 3. The master suite located on the 3rd level has a fabulous view & a private pool with bar seating. The entire suite has floor to ceiling pocket doors that bring the entire outside inside. Your choice to leave the doors & window open or closed. Choose to turn on the A/C unit and or the ceiling fan. Many days, I had my coffee while watching the beautiful sunrise on the master suite outside landing (which is huge). Waking up to the unobstructed sunrise views or watching the sunset while listening to the birds singing their songs was so relaxing. 4. 3rd level are the rest of the bedrooms which are all large & A/C & individual. Water pressure was great & we all had plenty of hot water whenever we turned on the faucets. 5. Lower level also gave us access to the washer & dryer which was so convenient. The area was large with plenty of space to work. 6. Plenty of occasions, we chose to leisurely walk down to the beach & local restaurants. Met the locals, had so much fun & found great local fare. Seen some of the other local residences but wouldn't trade our rental. Loved being in Las Terrenas which was beautiful & made us feel safe but never had a problem in or out. 7. Entire team available, friendly & always ready assist. Lastly, we had an amazing stay at an amazing home. So relaxing & beautiful. Really can't truly express how great of a time we had.

Much Needed Vacation

We had a wonderful time. The location was amazing, and the pictures that the owner posted doesn't do this place any justice. The pool was awesome. We had a private chef (Waraira)for breakfast and dinner, every meal prepared was great.
