Of all of the condos we have stayed at in OB, this was our favorite! The location is perfect. We couldnt have asked for more! Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for evenings that we wanted to stay in and cook. Beds were extremely comfy! We enjoyed the lazy river just about every day we stayed! Jil was quick to communicate! We definitely will return here :)

Great Location and Amenities, but the Unit Needs Some Attention

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great vacation overall and really enjoyed the beach and pool areas. The property itself felt safe, quiet, and well maintained in the common areas, which made for a relaxing stay. We appreciated the location and the amenities and had a wonderful time as a family.Our biggest concern was the condition and quality of the unit itself. For the price we paid for one week- which was comparable to a mortgage payment- we expected the accommodations to be a little nicer and better maintained.The kitchen pots and pans were lower quality and several had noticeable scratches and wear. The master bathroom shower had excessive mold, and while the unit appeared to be clean at first glance, there was a noticeable lack of deep cleaning. The walls, doors, and baseboards were dirty and had clearly not been thoroughly cleaned in some time. It felt more like a surface-level cleaning between guests rather than a true deep clean.We also had a few uncomfortable interactions with one of the security personnel. We understand the importance of maintaining security and enforcing property rules, but we felt his approach could have been more professional and courteous.Overall, we enjoyed our vacation and loved the beach, pool, location, and peaceful atmosphere. However, the condition of the individual unit and the interactions with security kept the experience from feeling like the higher end stay we expected given the price.

Beautiful Property

So many positives to this property: nice size, soft comfortable beds, clean, convenient location, beautiful view, beach by it is amazing, lazy river is so fun, nice heated indoor pool. I loved that the unit also had an ice maker and was on the 4th floor. Property owner is very responsive and helpful. Can’t wait to stay again!

We noticed that the room wasn’t very clean, carpeting wasn’t vacuumed with potato chips on the floor and the rugs all need a good scrubbing. There are lots of stains on carpeting and furniture. The toaster is missing knobs, dresser drawer handle missing, hardly any hangers in closets, some had none. We didn’t have the start up supplies we were promised, like garbage bags, paper toweling, dish and laundry soap and a dish towel and rag. The kitchen definitely needs more of silver ware and needed a cake pan and loaf pan. I was in the king size bed and I couldn’t get on it without a step stool we made. Why is it so tall?? And the sheets on the bed are horrible, they do not fit and are constantly sliding. We did like the size of rooms, but the furniture needs to be replaced if you expect to get over 4,000 a week. I was disappointed that everything seemed to be purchased from a thrift store. We probably will not return.

This place was in a great location and beautiful view, but I was taken back because it looked like it had not been cleaned prior to our arrival. The first thing I had to do was sweep as there was sand all over the floors and food crumbs all over the carpet area. The countertops were sticky as if someone had just eaten. I did contact the leasing agency to let them know and they offered to come clean again, but we had already arrived after a long flight, and I had already swept. Later that evening as we were starting to cook, I noticed all of the silverware was dirty, the forks/knives were not clean. I ended up having to wash the utensils and plates/cups before we ate.For as much as we paid, the place should have been very clean. I will also say that this is not the place to go if you are flying in. All VRBO's I have stayed, came with some basic supplies--I had nothing to clean with, so I had to go buy supplies. There was nothing in the kitchen like foil, baggies, spices, garbage bags, kitchen soap, etc. This has been the norm on all places I have stayed, but nothing here. I would also suggest that they invest in new sheets. Our sheets were discolored. I would not rent this place again.

Family vacation

We were very happy we came and plan to book the same unit for a later stay. Very convenient walking distance to 2 great restaurants and ice cream shop. The gulf restaurant is only about a mile away and my favorite place to go for the kids to run around while getting a bite to eat. The master bed was also very comfortable. The unit was huge and we loved the same level parking. There isn’t any negatives to list.
