This spacious 1 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom condo is located in the Lodge I building in Ocean Creek Resort. The Lodge I is only about 1/2 of a mile from the beach and the resort offers a free seasonal tram service to and from the beach, that operates every 15-20 minutes. Enjoy all the comforts of home while on vacation. This unit can accommodate a total of 4 guests with 1 queen in the master bedroom and a sleeper sofa the living room. Unit features a fully equipped kitchen, screened in patio and TV's in the living room and bedroom. There is also a coin operated laundry facility onsite.

Ocean Creek Resort is a beautiful oceanfront community located on the north end of Myrtle Beach and is situated directly across from Barefoot Landing shopping and entertainment center. Located on 57-acres, this Myrtle Beach resort features 24-hour gated security, beautiful grounds perfect for biking and walking, multiple outdoor pools, an indoor pool, on-site dining, free parking, free Wi-Fi and more. Great Property

This is the second time we have stayed at this gated community. It has lots of trees for shade, a screened in porch and a short walk to a beautiful beach. We will definitely stay at this complex next time we are in Myrtle Beach.

Beach trip

Great place for the price! Short walk to the beach and several pools to choose from. Kitchen could use baking sheets and sharp knives. Overall very satisfied! Would stay here again.

Reviewer Comments: Thank you, the stay was good, just a few things wasn't that good nothing major: couldn't use the balcony had a sign that said keep closed at all times; the master bathroom toilet when flushed made this loud striking sound til it filled up; and the ice machine in the fridge didn't work and yeah it was to WHITE 😀😀😀😀 because when we came up to go the pool or hot tub they would get out of the pool and hot tub but other than that it was good.

Great location as the beach was only a short walk away. Very clean, comfortable and well supplied condo. The only minor issues with the condo were in the full bath. The bathroom fan/heater did not work and the same bathroom's toilette made a screaching sound after flushing.

We found the unit comfortable, well appointed and clean. Our only criticism was that the Lodge One elevator was not working upon our arrival and we were on the fourth floor!

Pleased

This unit was nicely decorated and clean. We enjoyed our week there. There was an issue with obtaining TV channels which was very aggravating however I called the property management company, they sent the nicest young lady Sky or Shy to assist us, she went above and beyond what her work duties require to ensure we were satisfied. We will stay here again.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was usable, but needs updated and cleaned better. Twice I called the rental company north beach realty with serious plumbing issues and for weeks I never received a response. Once we departed I again contacted north beach realty and still no response. Also, many things didn't work right- sliding door to the porch, ice maker in freezer, door knobs, etc.

Bathrooms needed upgrading. Lighting in the unit was very dim. Trying to watch TV was very challenging. No instructions on how to access TV channels. Location was good.

We're sorry you felt the bed was uncomfortable. It's actually fairly new (less than 2 years) and the owner finds it very comfortable. However, we understand that we cannot satisfy every guests preference when it comes to mattresses. Some like a firm mattress while others like a softer mattress. The kitchen is original but still in good shape and functional we will however have maintenance take a look at the loose faucet. Thanks for bringing that to our attention.

Ocean Creek Resort is an excellent property. Well situated in North Myrtle Beach and extremely well maintained. We loved the location of our unit. An easy walk to the beach. The unit itself was good but could use a few upgrades! There were many kitchen items missing but the property manager took care of that immediately! The weather was cooler than we expected for that time of year but that is in no one’s control. We would return again to the same place.

Reviewer Comments: We arrived at the unit to find that it was on the 4th floor. I was told originally when I called while booking, that the unit was on the second floor. We walked up to the door to find spiders and roaches EVERYWHERE. The unit was stocked with all the linens and things we would need, but it was so dirty. The bathroom sink had mold and mildew caked around the faucet. The toilet had a red ring around the bowl. The tub was disgusting. There was dried up food on the kitchen floor. And sticky mess all over the dining room table. So the first evening we were there, we went to the store to buy cleaning supplies, and cleaned. The closet doors were broken, and the balcony sliding door would shake anytime you open the front door. The balcony was also not usable, so that was not fun. I was not able to sit on the balcony and watch the sun set or rise. The indoor pool was nice, but it would have been nice to have access to the outdoor pools as well. You have to have a pool pass for those. The toilets make a freight train sound when you flush so it was nerve wrecking to use the bathroom. The staff and residents were extremely nice, and the property was beautiful. The unit is very dated.

The interior and exterior of the property are treated by a licensed pest control company on a regular basis. The exterior of the building and common areas are cleaned by the onsite resort staff and the interior of the unit is cleaned by a contracted cleaning company. We sincerely apologize for the housekeeping issues upon arrival. We would have been more than happy to send housekeeping back to reclean, had we known there was an issue.

The unit was clean, not enough cutlery in the kitchen and the blankets did not smell clean at all. There were a lot of small cockroaches everywhere in the unit all the time especially when the lights are off they'll crawl out. I also feel that the agency does not go beyond and above for loyal customers. I had to cancel my stay because of an emergency situation and they could not refund me for the two nights I did not stay after staying in their unit for over 40 days

We enjoy Ocean Creek. The resort is just lovely and you can’t ask for a more beautiful beach. The place needs to be refreshed. If you have any cigarette smoke allergies you should stay away.

No wifi, not updated, but still Ocean Creek

We love Ocean Creek Resort! This time we stayed through North Beach Rentals and had to go to their location to get the parking pass and keycode for the room with check in at 4pm and check out at 10am. It states wifi but there is not, if you walk around the property you can find it but not in room. The appliances are very dated, bring your own along with any kitchen accessories/utensils, pots/pans needed. There was 1 skillet that was copper for a glass top stove. No pans other than muffin pan. This is on the 4th floor and middle of the hallway from the elevator. The half bath is right next to the main bath and makes it redundant due to location as well as it doesn't flush correctly so better used as a closet. A/C works and has a few channels on TV when there was a signal. There was a decent fridge with ice maker. The resort is one of the best and supplies a lot of amenities like multiple pools, restaurant, laundry, beach, golf cart that runs all day to help with walk to beach or tennis courts and is conveniently located across from barefoot landing. The best restaurant this year we found was king sushi for all you can eat sushi/hibachi and best view was downtown myrtle Damon's oceanfront. Best activity was pirate ship in little river for the kids, we try to do it every year.

Our place was in walking distance of the beach! If not interested in going to beach there was a very nice pool close by! Had a great week!
