Great stay on Kauai
M5 at Pili Mai is a fantastic property; clean, spacious, well appointed and quiet. Great bedding and linens with plenty of extra towels. The pool area is large with nice lounge chairs. The location is close to shopping and places of interest. I would book this again.

Walking distance to Keoki’s
Great location and amenities. There were 6 beach chairs and 2 beach umbrellas in the garage. We enjoyed the local beaches, hikes, hula shows, restaurants, and food trucks. Definitely recommend!

Loved Our Pili Mai stay
We love everything about our Kaua’i trip, including our stay at Pili Mai. The location was further from the beach than we anticipated. I’m not sure if that’s a VRBO thing or how it was advertised, but when I pick the location, I searched the ocean side accommodations and this one came up. With that said, we love the location it was clean, quiet and beautiful. We would stay there again.

Under the impression that we were on the golf course and closer to the beach. The condo was clean and had a very well equipped kitchen. Worked out good going with friends.

Well stocked unit
We enjoyed or stay and the property and location were great. We saw several roaches in the kitchen and a millipede in the dryer. The only suggestion would be to ensure the unit is properly exterminated.

We take pest control very seriously, and every property we manage is treated every three months by a professional pest control company. We wish you had let us know about this when you were in-house with us. Now that we are aware you had an issue, we will take immediate action and schedule a trouble call with our professional pest control vendor.

Wonderful Poipu Stay
This condo was the perfect accommodation for two couples traveling together- we each had our own space. Shared spaces were roomy. The condo had plenty of room for cooking in the kitchen and everything we needed when we cooked in. The condo was very clean and communication was smooth. Poipu beach is a short drive away and lots of restaurants and shops nearby. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. All together a wonderful Kauai stay!

Air conditioner broke twice. Miserable sleeping conditions at 81 degrees and 90% humidity.Freezer melted the ice.Toilet clogged up with normal use.Stay away from 5M

That is never something we want our guests to deal with, and we understand how frustrating that must have been for you. It's important to note that our team responded promptly to your concerns, resetting the tripped breaker on two separate occasions and successfully restoring the AC each time. Additionally, we engaged our professional HVAC vendor to thoroughly inspect the system, ensuring there were no ongoing issues. We take these matters seriously and want to reassure future guests that the AC is currently working properly. We also dispatched our team to assist with a clogged toilet during your stay. This was not due to a system-wide issue but rather a one-time incident (too much TP) that we were happy to address promptly. To any future guests reading this, we invite you to review our many past guest experiences. We take great pride in maintaining our properties with a strong focus on cleanliness, proactive maintenance, and responsive guest support. Ultimately, we’re sorry that Todd’s experience in Pili Mai 5M didn’t meet his expectations, and we hope he’ll consider giving us another opportunity in the future.

Perfect!
Great property for our family of 5. Clean, great size and location.
Pool was a perfect break from the beach.
Had some beach/pool ammenities although some of the items were broken and he had to throw away. We did leave a few things for the next guests. I guess that’s kinda how it works though, community beach stuff to pass on.

Great unit! I will stay there again!
The picture online of the patio shows a glass topped table and 4 chairs. There was no table and the seat cushions on the chairs were stained and dirty, so we didn't use the patio. The sheets and pillowcases were the wrong size for the beds.
However, the management company was awesome? I will use Kauai Exclusive again!

A week at Pili Mai 5M
This is a two bedroom condo. Although the pics look appealing and inviting, after having stayed at many VRBO properties I would rate this rental average and in need of updating. The bullet points summarize our stay and our impressions:
- If there are people upstairs you can hear every step they take.
- No instructions as to how to use the TV's with the two remotes.
- No remote for the garage door.
- Difficult to park in the garage - was forced to park outside.
- The fridge needs attention with drawers off track and no ice maker
- The claim is that this unit has queen beds. The sheets are queen (too big for bed) but the beds are double beds
- This unit has a dated Mr. Coffee rather than a Keurig.
- There is no table on the patio.
- There are no exhaust fans in the bathrooms to eliminate humidity after a shower.
- Good location with easy access to restaurants, beach and shopping.

Please allow us to speak to a few things mentioned in this review. To start, the garages at Pili Mai are tight so we suggest parking in the reserved parking stall for Pili Mai 5M if you have trouble parking in the garage. There is an ice maker (that does work) and the fridge does work properly. There are two queen beds (not full) as our team just inspected this property in great detail after reading this review. The coffee maker works fine and there is a drip coffee maker. We do not advertise a Kuerig coffee maker. Every bathroom does have an exhaust fan that works so we're not sure if this guest booked multiple properties with different companies and got our property mixed up with another property, as the majority of what was mentioned by this guest is not valid.
