Charming beach getaway in the award winning, Ocean Lakes Family Campground. Comes with a complimentary golf cart that is just a short distance to the beach!

2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. One bedroom has a Queen size bed and the other has a bunk bed that is a Full size on the bottom and twin size on top. Spacious outdoor area with lots of furniture to relax in the shade and even has an outdoor TV.

Enjoy all the amenities that Ocean Lakes Family Campground has to offer, such as indoor and outdoor pools, waterpark, arcade, lazy river, mini golf course, many different beach accesses, and weekly festive activities.

All guest must register with ocean lakes upon arrival and obtain a parking pass. This is a $12 per/day/night, per vehicle fee which is paid to ocean lakes. This parking pass allows ALL visitors to enjoy ALL the amenities of the campground making this a true value.

The pictures are definitely a better representation than the actual property. This is an older place which is fine, but there were stains on the comforter in the main bedroom and the “white” chair in the living area was filthy. Also, the golf cart pictured is NOT what you actually have to use. We ended up renting one, but would have brought our own had we known.

This stay wouldn't have been so bad if it wasn't for hurricane Debby... The Internet was awful no signal what so ever so we decided to spend the rest of our week somewhere else bc we couldn't do anything so far away from the beach and pool considering the weather and location

Perfect vacation!

Beach Bums at Ocean Lakes was so fun and the perfect get away with a vintage vibe. It is in a great location within the campground, and love the complimentary golf cart. Our property manager Drew had it charged up and ready to go upon our arrival, and he had the air conditioner set on cold which was perfect for our hot beach days. Highly recommend and will return!

Owners NEED TO DO BETTER

Property manager and the maintenance team was AMAZING! We had a couple issues with the main being the hot water, the property manager and maintenance team stayed on it but the owners should’ve allowed this to be fixed the right way!

Great stay for our family

Great location but we used to live in Ocean Lakes. Price was great. Included golf cart was great but not the one shown in pics. It was a much older one but it still worked. The porch was great. Loved the outdoor couch. The kid sized toilet should be changed for a normal one. The floor was uneven to say the least but it's a really old trailer that has been added onto. There was a washer and dryer but we didn't use it since the dryer was being supported by its own plug. The shower needs some TLC. There is also a palmetto bug problem but all the trailers down there have them. You could also hear everything outside since it is an old trailer.

Nice area and location. Few hiccups tho.

We had a nice lil trip and stay at this place. But when we arrived our tvs weren’t working or the WiFi. So that was a disappointment for everyone. Spectrum came and fixed it the next morning but it did interfere with the plans we had for the day having to stay there with spectrum. And I was dealing with the problem the night before for a while trying to fix it…Wish we didn’t have to deal with that right when we come to have a vacation. Over all everything was fine. We had a nice time. I just had a comment about the cleanliness also, it could be improved upon. The floors were dirty had to wear shoes or socks the whole time or your feet would be black and some of the dishes we went to use that were in the cabinet were dirty.

2023 beach trip

We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean lakes! The house was clean and in a good location! Our favorite place was the porch, we spent a lot of time there in the couch and watching tv. We would stay again for sure!

House needs a deep cleaning.

I was contacted by the rental agent about an icee cup and stain on the comforter. I was charged even after I expressed that I did not leave a stain. The outside furniture has stains all over the fabric. The outside grill had old food left in it. There were stains on the comforters and pillows in both bedrooms. The dishes in the cabinets had food on them as well as stains. The location is good but the rental needs to be thoroughly cleaned. I found it odd that I was contacted about a stain when the entire place has stains on all fabric throughout the house. For the money I would have expected a cleaner property. Be aware when renting if it do not report all stains to the renting agent you will be charged for stains. I would suggest taking pictures upon arrival as we learned the hard way.

Will definitely be staying again!

The porch was very dirty - with green pollen and leaves - and the couch could use a goood cleaning.. other than that the house was clean and very cute. It was exactly what we needed. Simple but just right. She even left a Roll of paper towels and a couple rolls of toilet paper to start. The kitchen supplies helped out too! Would definitely recommend for small family!

Older but Nice!y

The home is an older home but has some updates on the inside. The bathroom is small so be aware of that but other than that it's a good place to stay! My family used it for the weekend for the Halloween festivities and it served us well. The golf cart isn't a show quality machine but never let us down and got us from point A to B without a hitch during our stay! Homeowner was also great to deal with!

Enjoyed!

We had a great vacation. It felt a little smaller than pictures but there were only 2 of us so it was okay. I wouldn’t recommend many more people unless kids. The included golf cart and the giant porch with the TV were the best parts! Thank you so much and we would come again.

Summer Get Away

Property Manager made very easy for check in and communication. Good location lived the golf cart provided. Cleanliness could be more detailed. Glad to have washer dryer included also.

Not bad but be aware

Let me start out by stating I’m not typically one to complain, but this place just had a bunch of bandaids covering larger issues. First off, the host was friendly and quick with responses. But for the property itself, that is a different story. The porch was amazing and a great hangout spot. Until you’re spending the entire time swatting flies. I’ve never seen so many. And even with the bug zapper killing a pile of them daily, they seemed to continually keep coming. And it was mainly while you were on the outside couch. Wouldn’t bother you on the other side of the porch. The inside was clean for the most part. Under furniture you could tell was being missed. Wouldn’t be an issue with me but with a 9 month old crawling around it was. Also had a few nails sticking up in the floor going into the kitchen part we had to put a rug over. The washer and dryer are ones out of a camper so they were very small. There is a tv in the bunk room but no way to watch anything because it doesn’t have a remote or roku like the rest of the TVs in the house. There were a few bugs on the kitchen counter I had to kill each morning. The photos on it appear to be from years ago with different furniture and the area is much smaller than it appears. The place comes with a golf cart which is nice, until you realize you have no brakes as you blow through an intersection and pray no one else is coming. A couple of the tires could use replacing, as well. I normally don’t leave reviews, like I said, but I wanted others to fairly know what they were getting with this location.

Week vacation with the pets!

We had an awesome time during our May trip! The weather was great and the accommodation was nice. We brought our 2 small dogs and the gated porch with TV and furniture was PERFECT for them and us! The golf cart wasn’t as listed and had a loose back seat and side bar which we had to fasten down before using. Things were also a little dirty on arrival, but overall highly recommend if you plan to bring pets! Would definitely book again. Thanks Drew!

Beach Getaway

It was perfect size for me, my husband and puppy! Quite street and cart ride distance to beach! Golf cart was a plus, we had issues with it and Drew personally came out to see about it and rented us one to use the rest of our stay! We really enjoyed the covered front porch with tv! We will definitely come back here to stay!

Small, but nice little place with a great covered deck area

Nice little rental & perfect for our needs - especially allowing pets. Funky step down so close to the door is something to be very cautious about - didn't understand this design at all. The normal VRVO booklet with instructions for TV's, thermostat & Wi-Fi password were non-existent, therefore requiring us to reach out for this important information. Would stay here again...
