We stayed here for four nights and paid about 2,400. The location was great, and I do want to give Kingsley credit—after I messaged him about the condition of the property, he had maintenance out first thing the next morning. I appreciated the quick response, and they addressed several issues we reported, including cleaning an oven that was full of burnt-on food.Unfortunately, the house itself felt more like a frat house than a vacation rental. It was dirty when we arrived and appeared to have been poorly maintained for quite some time. There was trash around the property, the dishwasher was full of dirty, smelly dishes, the kitchen cabinets and drawers were grimy, and the master shower had visible mold. Primary bathroom lights didn’t work, and the bathroom windows wouldn’t stay open without being propped open. The floors appeared to have been painted, leaving them sticky, and many shared surfaces felt tacky. There were Christmas lights hanging in the kitchen, no hair dryers, no wine opener, and no shampoo or soap. Each bathroom had only two bath towels and two washcloths, no hand towels, and we had to request more towels. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was functional, but the cleanliness and upkeep did not match the price. If cleanliness matters to you, I’d look elsewhere. I’d also recommend reading all of the reviews before booking, as some of the issues we experience.
