Walking Distance to Main Street and Mirror Lake, 9 Miles to Whiteface Mountain

This 3 bedroom, family friendly townhouse is close to everything.

Once you enter this home, you will see a great open floor plan with a first floor laundry/mudroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including 2 coffee pots and a crockpot (great for those cold winter days!).

The kitchen is open to the dining room and living area. The large windows bring in plenty of light and the high ceilings give you a spacious feel with a gas fireplace making it a cozy atmosphere. Just outside the sliding doors is a patio with a gas grill. Enjoy an evening outside by the gas fire pit and plenty of Adirondack chairs to sit and relax.

There are 2 full bathrooms and 3 bedrooms with enough room to sleep 7 people.

Walk just a few minutes to main street to enjoy the many restaurants, shops, a movie theater, parks, tennis and of course, Mirror Lake!

Whiteface Mountain Resort is only 9 miles from this townhouse with plenty to do in the winter and summer months.

Lake Placid is a great place to visit anytime of the year!

Another amazing vacation!

This is our fourth year staying here and it never disappoints! The property is always clean and is perfect for my parents plus my wife and our two children. It always makes for a great vacation in Lake Placid! We cannot wait for next year.

Family Christmas

We had a wonderful time celebrating christmas at your property with are family. A very nice and quick walk to town. The townhome was spacious, had lots of games and decorated festive.

Excellent location, facility, and communication

Terry's property was beautiful, well-maintained, well-equipped, and meticulously clean. Those are already high standards -- but among other high-standard properties, the differentiator is communication. Terry was responsive, flexible, helpful, and courteous. It's very clear that the place is well cared for and not treated like "just a rental property." The bedding is excellent and the mattresses are comfortable. The outdoor seating and gas fire table are nice touches, too. The place is very cozy, nicely decorated without being overdone, and comfortably furnished. Unlike some rentals, the kitchen is very well-equipped with everything you'd need in terms of appliances, dishwater, cooking utensils, etc. As for location, it's only about a ten minute walk to the heart of main strip downtown, even if you are moving at a leisurely pace. Don't underestimate the premium there...not having to park makes a world of difference if you want to be able to enjoy Main Street. One thing to be aware of (and this is not a criticism; it's just a fact) is that while there are full bathrooms (one on the first floor and one one the second floor), all three bedrooms are on the second floor. This could be important to know depending on mobility. Next time we come back to Lake Placid this will be one of the first places we'll look for. Highly recommended.

Great place. Walking distance to town.

We stayed in Lake Placid for three nights to hike, mountain bike, watch the mountain bike race, and enjoy the town. We had amazing weather.. The house was perfect for us. There’s a fully stocked kitchen, including regular coffee, pot and Keurig, and all of the pots and pans you would need.

Another perfect year!

Every year we stay here, and absolutely everything about it is perfect for our family! Three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, laundry, parking, location in town, all makes for a great yearly family vacation in Lake Placid. The townhouse is always clean and easy to access and the owner (Terry) is incredibly helpful with anything we might need.

Snowy April Weekend

We were looking for a spring get-away and ending up with a wintry weekend which was so nice thanks to our lovely accommodations. I've stayed in a lot rentals and this house was by far the best. Everything we needed was available. The kitchen is very well equipped and the beds were so comfortable. The washer and dryer were a big plus. There's a variety of games such as Twister, Charade and Heads Up which we played during our snowy stay. I would welcome the opportunity to revisit.

Best accommodations yet

This is our favorite property yet for our annual visit to Lake Placid. Well appointed, well equipped, spacious and very comfortable. Cozy and easy to cook in, socialize and dine in, sleep in, and an easy walk to town or around the quiet side of Mirror Lake. No problem parking close to the condo. Thank you to the friendly host for ease of arrival and answering questions.

Lake Placid Get-away

We absolutely loved the cleanliness, comfort, and location of this home in Lake Placid, NY. Being in walking distance of Mirror Lake, the Olympic Museum Complex, and down town Lake Placid was perfect. The house itself was stocked with everything we needed and the beds were super comfortable. The house was clean and host, Terry, was quick to respond to any questions I had. This was such a special trip for our family -- full of wonderful memories-- which are due in large part to the calm, comfort, and location of this property. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location

This is the second time I stayed here. This time, two families shared the condo and it worked out great. Terry is very responsive in answering questions. Best part of this condo is the location! Very quick walk to the beach and shops. Condo is very clean and well stocked. I’m already planning our trip for next Summer.
