The house was very nice and comfortable. It was great that everyone had their own space and bathroom. We did wish there were a few more small amenities, like coffee creamer or tea bags. Overall, it was a great stay, and we would definitely stay again.

Convenient but issues

Storey Lake is a nice resort community that is in a convenient location. Close to grocery stores, shopping and the Orange County convention center. Unfortunately, prior to the girls getting in bed for the night, they pulled back their covers and there were hairs and ants. Two of the bedrooms upstairs (that were side by side) had ants, dead & alive. We had to wash their bed sheets prior to them going to bed for the night. The property host did offer to have someone come and spray, but we declined. We did not want anyone inside of the rental while we were there and we also did not want any chemicals sprayed while we were there. We were told the chemicals were safe, but they are still chemicals so we chose not to. We did purchase some ant traps from a local grocery store, because the ants were coming from an area behind the beds and also spotted in the kitchen our second night. We left our rental a day early to head back home as soon as the volleyball tournament was over, instead of staying for the entire trip that we had paid for.

Property was nice. Love the private pool! It is not big, but it is good for a couple of people to get in and cool off. Kitchen could use some pot holders in it! The drive to Disney property is not a bad drive.

Just didn’t want to leave

This place gets and F…for fantastic! This beautiful rental house is in the Storey Lake Resort property. First, this is a large community to say the least, but the house we rented was an immediate right through the front gate. Super clean and cozy house, one bedroom decorated after Hogwarts theme and my 16 year old just had to have it. The second bedroom had two beds with a Mickey and a Minnie doll. The room was all done up in their theme and it was cute so the younger boy enjoyed it. The two other rooms, were simple yet beautifully appointed. All rooms had a TV. Kitchen was very nice with an island and many different utensils to make cooking easy, if you have a mind to not eat out all the time. In addition, there is a dishwasher for clean up and a nice dinner table. When we arrived, it was super clean with the pool water almost as warm as bath water. Everything was clean, comfortable, relaxing and fun. Then there is the clubhouse which offers kayaks, miniature golf, lazy river, slides, pool, hot tube and courts for volley and basket ball. Inside is a gym. Outside the community, offers a wide selection of entertainment, immediately out of the front get. There is a gas station, restaurants, stores etc. Of course, Disney is a short ride away. Cannot wait to go back.

Volleyball trip

3 moms and 3 daughters stated here for our Orlando National volleyball trip. We had plenty of space and the house was equipped with all the essentials. The pool was nice (but small) and we used the outdoor table (which was covered). There was some construction going on behind us (which backs up to a road) which was rather loud. The outdoor area could use some additional lights outside because it was mostly lit up by a motion light when it gets dark. Overall, we would come back again. Loved the community pool too.

great spot

loved staying here. layout was perfect. kitchen had everything we needed. plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. waterpark and pools were super fun. would stay again.

Perfect location, beautiful home

The house and property were in great condition. Everything was clean and the check in process was easy. We also enjoyed the clubhouse pool/waterslides/lazy river. Lots to do and would stay again for sure!

Just 5 minutes from the 535/Lake Buena Vista entrance to Disney. The Resort is close to Downtown Disney, where you can find AMC Theaters, Cirque du Soleil, Disney Quest, Splitsville Bowling, the Lego Store, as well as an array of restaurants, bars, shopping stores, and many other activities for kids, such as a carrousel, train rides, Lego building, splash pads, etc.

The Lake Buena Vista Outlet, Premium Outlets, and 24 Hours Super Center Wal-Mart, Super Target, OLD TOWN which has many rides and fun things to do. Also at Old Town, you can take the Busch Gardens bus that takes you straight to the park for free. All you need is your park admission to get on.

The resort is just minutes from Disney’s Wide World of Sports, and it is also close to Miniature Golf, Falcons Fire Golf Course, Lake Buena Vista Water Sports, Gatorland, Boggy Creek Air Boat Rides, Cracker Barrel, Longhorn Steakhouse, Pizzeria Uno, Japanese Kabuki, Falafel O King, Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Kabob Express, TGI Friday's, Olive Garden, Dunkin Donuts, and Krispy Kreme Donuts, all within walking distance.
