Hi John! The plastic box on the front porch is actually a trash bench where you can securely place your tied trash bags for daily pickup. It's part of the Storey Lake Resort's trash disposal system to keep the area neat and pest-free. You'll find detailed trash instructions and designated dumpster locations in your guest information. If you have any questions or need assistance, we're happy to help – enjoy your stay with Wonder Vacation Homes!

We had an excellent stay at this villa. From start to finish wonder vacation homes were great at communicating at quick to respond to us. The villa was clean and provided everything we needed for our 18 night stay. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend. The location at Storey Lakes is perfect, super easy to get to the parks and supermarkets. The resort pool area was great too.

Fully Equiped Kitchen. The Clubhouse pool was fantastic! Would just caution families with children as the tile floors and steep stairs were a challenge for us as we had a couple goose eggs on heads from slipping on the tile, a stairs tumble, and the corner of the bar too out the eye of our 3yr old. Other than that we had a great time! We could just have a group of accident prone kids but we would reccomend staying here again just maybe with older kids, ours are 1-5 years old.

Thank you for your detailed feedback! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and had a great time at the clubhouse pool. We truly appreciate you sharing your experience regarding the flooring, stairs, and layout. While the home is designed to accommodate a wide range of guests, we understand that certain features can be more challenging for families with very young children. Your comments are very helpful and will certainly be taken into consideration as we continue to improve the guest experience. We’re happy to hear that, overall, you had a great stay and would recommend the home. It would be our pleasure to host you and your family again in the future! Warm regards, Wonder Vacation Homes

BRING YOU OWN TOWELS !!

We all enjoyed our stay. the location was great and the property was beautiful definitely recommend. Other than them only providing 1 white towel each for 7 days and them charging me almost $200cad because they were ”stained” is wild to me a scheme you towels shouldn’t be white if u want people to use them for multiple days!

Great place- bad check in process

Overall, the place was fantastic and so was the location! The amenities were nice too with the pool, hot tub, basketball court, and the waterslides worked half the time. The only problem was the check-in process! They required a lot of documentation before hand and they let me know the day of check in that everything wasn’t approved and I would lose all of my money, and there would be no refund because it was a no-show. I had to provide a picture of my credit card, my ID and a selfie. I thought that was too extreme. Everything was paid for and that was way too excessive! It really was stressful and contacted VRBO because I thought we were scammed. We weren’t told that we had the code to the place until we were halfway to Orlando.

Hello Kelli, Thank you for choosing this home and for your feedback. Vrbo has all our process approved, these pre-checkin steps are mentioned on the HOUSE Rules and on the rental agreement you sign. Requirements of your documents - the id, selfie, front and back pictures of credit card is for verification and that a scammer is not using your card and making these charges on your behalf and I remember telling this to you on a three way call when you contacted VRBO. However we thought that when we explained this to you, the importance of the pre-checkin process was understood. But you can very well use this platform to voice your opinion out. We hope that this checkin process is now understood and that you would come stay with us again.

Warning!!..Do Not Book With Wonder Vacation Homes

Do not book with Wonder Vacation Homes!!! When we arrived there were two broken unusable lounge chairs at the pool. We used the guest portal messenger to report them and no one apologized, offered a credit or came to pick them up until after we checked out. Then after we checked out 3 days later we received a message claiming that we stained a towel and clogged a toilet. Someone from operations claimed they took video of the inspection but we have yet to see it. Instead they sent us a picture of a random CLEAN toilet. No before and after evidence of the supposed clog. Also sent us a random picture of a hand towel that could have came from anywhere. Where is the video?????…. I am in dispute with them currently. Again if you book at Storey Lake DO NOT BOOK WITH WONDER VACATION HOMES!!!!!!

Hello Leonard, Sorry to hear that you were not happy with your stay. Our inspectors share pre-checkin and post-checkout pictures of each property. Upon retracing the conversation I confirm that is what was shared with you. I agree the lounge chairs were broken, and we did apologize for that, asking for pictures but there is no discount or credit to expected for a broken item in the house which is so petty. The towel was stained and the picture was shared. Hope. you have a nice day. Wonder Vacation Homes Team :)

Nice house

The house was very clean, great location, and we had plenty of room for our group of 8. We did have an issue with the toilet, but maintenance came right out. There were other issues with the house, but nothing urgent. We just made a list as requested and sent to Wonder Vacations. The only issue we had was the check in process. There was definitely a big communication issue. I called about 10 days prior to our check in and was told they had everything they needed and I would receive the door code 2 days prior to arrival. We also received all the check in instructions which were very helpful. When we didn't receive the door code 2 days prior I tried multiple times to reach someone by text, email, and the portal without any resolution or explanation. I was told different things by different people on the portal and by phone. I was finally able to reach someone and was eventually told the documents I uploaded months before were gone?!? It was so upsetting to hear this just hours before we were to check in and being told different things by different people. I think if communication was easier and the staff were more accessible and all on the same page, then I would give this house 5 stars.

Zero communication

This owner and management company had zero responses to my communication and questions. I paid in full yet not one question was replied and we asked to have the pool heated and it was not. The resort office shook their head and said we sadly have had a lot of complaints on Bruno not responding. The house is very pretty and decorated nicely as well as had a lot of room. but the cleaning and maintenance need more detail. The carpets in almost every room had stains and dried food on stairs as well as dried food on dresser. There was a full set of used fake nails sitting in a bedroom drawer. The curtain rods in a couple rooms were falling some due to screws being popped out of the wall and the living room sliding door blinds we couldnt shut because they are broke. The resort it’s self is a great location and very beautiful with friendly staff. If Bruno and his team could respond to their emails and text messages this place would be a good place.

Horrible

Not only was I over charged on the deposit which I haven’t gotten back yet. The room was not dusted. The main room bathrooms shower didn’t work. The second master bathroom was not flushing. I paid extra for heated pool and didn’t get it till the next day. The kitchen utilities were dirty ,the same with the bbq grill it was rusted and came in late. The staff at the office were so rude, the only one who tried to help was Wilma. I wanted a staycation with my family who travel from Miami and we had such a bad experience But made the most of it. Also if you need anything don’t waste your time calling the main off you stay on hold for hours not minutes, hour!!!!!!! Worse experience ever. And the worse part of it I stay there before and it was a great experience but this time it was HORRIBLE.
