Welcome to Island Echos 2E on Okaloosa Island. This beautiful 2BR/2BA beachfront condo is conveniently located on the second floor, offers amazing views of the Gulf, and comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. The master bedroom features a king bed with en suite bathroom that has a gorgeous walk-in shower. The guest bedroom has two twin beds with guest bathroom access featuring a combination tub/shower. Enjoy a sleeper sofa in the living room for additional sleeping options. Take advantage of the beachfront location and amazing views from the balcony. You will love the convenience of having complimentary beach chair service from March through October which includes two chairs and one umbrella. When you and the family want to take a break from the beach, cook a homemade meal in the fully equipped kitchen or take a short drive to delicious, nearby eateries. Make Island Echos 2E the prime spot for your next family beach vacation.

Island Echos is a beachfront, seven-story condominium on Okaloosa Island. Island Echos offers amazing Gulf views, a seasonally heated beachside pool, a relaxing sundeck, and community grills as well as tennis and shuffleboard courts. For convenience, coin laundry is available on the first floor. Enjoy multiple dining options within a 10–15-minute walk, take a short drive to the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park and Emerald Coast Science Center, or venture a little further to all the excitement and activity options of Destin.

Outstanding!

The minute we walked into the condo we felt at home! Everything you need is provided, the beds were super comfortable and clean. Management checked on us the make sure there wasn’t any issues. The beach attendants were very nice and personable. The whole trip was definitely 5 star for us!

Enjoyable

We loved the location and the view of the ocean. We had easy access to the beach and we loved the chair service. We had a problem with the door lock and had to go through two people to have it fixed but Jeremy got right on it abd fixed it with ease. We were graciously offered another location but we loved where we were and wanted to stay. It was great and plan to go back.

Mom getaway

This was a perfect location on the beautiful beach. We could walk out the door and onto the sand. The view from the patio was great! The place was clean and provided all we needed. We would stay here again.

Quick vacation

We stayed at the condo after our originally plans were spoiled by hurricane Sally. It was a quick trip and the spot was perfect. It was conveniently right on the beach. We enjoyed it!

Nice and relaxing - Good Location. 3 issues: Tile floors in condo was dirty Water was off for 3.45 hours (9:00am - 12:45pm) Construction blocked off part of parking lot

Ants Infestation

Ants in bed, bedroom, bathroom, balcony and kitchen. We bought ant bait that evening when we arrived. They didn’t send anyone out that night. They sent someone to spray Raid the next afternoon. Claimed pest control wasn’t available on weekends. They never followed up to schedule exterminator. Poor property management. They need not deliver services as they said they would regarding the ants. They have all emails, text messages, videos, pictures and recorded phone calls.

Good for First Time Okaloosa Island Visitors

We have stayed at two other condos on the Island. Our go to place was not available for this trip so we chose Island Echos 2E. Unfortunately, the bar had already been set pretty high so this place was a let down. There a few things that were unacceptable to us that ranged from significant to minor. The most significant shortcoming was the fact that when we crawled in bed the first night the bottom sheet was covered with sand. If the sheets had been cleaned between guests there should not have been sand (IMO). The second issue was that the floors were sandy. Was the condo vacuumed? Also, the front porch outdoor light was burned out which made entering the security code at night very difficult; we used our cell phones for illumination. Why doesn't the master bedroom have a bed side clock or at least say so in the ad so we can bring one? The first night (we got there in the evening), we had no idea what time it was. We purchased a clock the next day. Why can't you turn off closed captioning on the main TV? It's very annoying. Positives - great partial view of the Gulf; great parking; lots of room for a small family.

Spent too much for the issues we had

The bed in the master was broken, the sinks were all clogged, there was sand all over the floor on arrival, the lighting in the kitchen was horrible, the only nice part of the stay was the access to the beach and the view.

Great location. Always my favorite beach. Condo was comparable to others I stayed in before. Only minus was cleaning- ceiling fans full of dust.

I’m considering renting this same unit next summer.

Everything was great and communication from the rental company was well-explained. However, the cleaning lady finished right at 4:00. I realize we couldn’t have checked in earlier but finishing right at 4:00 is cutting it close.

Beautiful place, great location.

Aside from the check in, which was delayed because we were not given the code to the gate or door until we called, the place was beautiful. Spacious and great location. Beach was not crowded at all. Would stay again. Five stars!

We LOVED the location, Beach View, fully stocked kitchen, utility cabinet, boardgames. What really really needs to be fixed is the King bed in master bedroom. Everytme you turn, it feels like the bed is going to fall, its sqeeks very loudly and moves alot (also hard as a rock). Also, all the floors and rugs in bathrooms & entrance way are really really nasty. we could not walk barefoot without making our feet black. The sand i understand sometimes cannot be helped, but i dont think a wet mop has been on those floors in a long while, nor have the rugs been washed. i had to buy some cleaning pads for the Swifter and boy was it dirty. After mopping twice a day (we stayed for 8 days) our floors were feeling nicer. i hope the next vacationers enjoy my work :). If the rugs and bed problem gets fixed, i'd definately recommend to thers and visit again. The location is perfect, the view and balcony is spectacular!!! Parking is easy, access is easy. Close enough to the boardwalks, but also far enough for some peace and quiet but still direct access to the sandy beach.

1st Vacation in Ft. Walton

This unit is right on the beach with just a short walk to the sandy beach. My husband and our boys loved the area and the nice sandbar in front of the unit. The beach chair service was a plus! The unit itself is nice however the master bedroom bed is hard as a rock and not comfortable at all! The checkin was after 4 pm do to COVID cleaning however I sweep a dustpan full of sand off the living room floor as soon as we walked in and we hadn't been near the sand! The counteracts had been halfway wiped down also luckily I brought my own cleaning supplies! The worst part is there is no washer and dryer in the unit and you are provided with 9 towels.. we stayed 5 nights i had to go to thw downstairs laundry room everynight and wash clothes! $2 to wash and $2 to semi-dry your clothes! We spent over $20 washing clothes and towels and when asked about getting clean towels was told they did not provide maid service.. sadly this will be our only time staying in this unit do to not having a washer and dryer
