Step out of the house and straight onto one of the most beautiful stretches of sandy private beach on Lake Huron. This lakefront retreat offers unobstructed water views, peaceful surroundings, and effortless beach access—perfect for families, couples, and pet-friendly getaways.

The home features 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, comfortably sleeping groups of all sizes:

1 double-over-double bunk bedroom

Additional sleeping space with a queen pullout sofa in the lower level

Enjoy upper and lower decks with lake views, including a gas grill off the kitchen—ideal for cooking while overlooking the water. Walk out from the lower level directly to the backyard and beach path, making lake days easy and relaxing.

End your evenings around the campfire, listening to the waves roll in and watching the sunset over Lake Huron.

Located just 4 miles from downtown East Tawas restaurants, bars, and shops, and 3 miles from Tawas Point State Park, the home is close to biking trails, fishing, boat rentals, golf courses, and more—secluded yet convenient, right off US-23.

This is our third VRBO rental in East Tawas in the last five years and definitely the best. My husband grew up in Tawas City and our kids and grandchildren spent vacations at my in-laws beautiful Victorian home. After selling the home we all missed our vacations so we started renting every summer. This is really the perfect location; close to town with a beautiful view and private beach. The house is spacious and comfortable. I’m so glad we found it!

Overall experience was great. We would rent this home again for our family. The home was set up well and spacious enough for our 8 family members with several of them being teenagers, which was appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked, the beachfront was lovely. The main recommendation I would make is to clean and present the patio areas better. Both the upstairs deck and downstairs walk out (deck and furniture) were coated in sand, toys, old chairs strewn around, and cobwebs - beyond what that days weather may have brought. They appeared to be long neglected and not set up for sitting and enjoying the outdoors. I think getting out a blower and broom would have been a huge improvement with minimal effort. Next time, we may bring our own to prep the area. Again, we would rent again. Excellent property for a big party, beautiful waterfront and sizable home.

Beautiful view and a lovely property. Kitchen was well stocked with whatever we needed. We stayed in the winter when it was cold, but enjoyed our visit. Great beach area for a summer visit.

This was a wonderful location for our family and dog to stay. The home was beautiful and the beach was lovely as well. It is quite a hike to the beach but there was a handy wagon there for our stay that we used to take things out to the beach.

Location with access to the beach was lovely. Lots of room with LR up and downstairs. Beds were comfortable. Property could use some TLC in some places.

Perfect location & beautiful view

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The view was spectacular especially on the days we woke up in time to catch the sun rise. A beautiful place to stay to relax. We would definitely stay here again

We stayed two nights to go look at fall colors and hike the near by trails. Location right on the water was beautiful. I could see summer time with a family being a blast here. Kitchen was well stocked. We did not use the basement or laundry room, however that would be great for a week stay with kids to spread out.

Beautiful home on a private beach. Fall stay so no swimming, but the beach is a bonus! Kitchen well stocked. The back porch was great for morning sunrises and coffee. Had a wonderful time would definitely come back in the summer. The host was easy to communicate with. No issues during our stay.

Anniversary trip

Awesome stay, our dog loved the beach! House was perfect and had everything we needed. We watched the sunrise at the beach, which was gorgeous. The town was lovely, there were lots of great food options and lots of good shops. We will definitely be back!
