The Sandy Turtle is beautifully appointed and the "spot" for those amazing Galveston sunsets. In addition you are right at the Lazy River/Bayside pool, so you get the best of both worlds! We’re truly sorry to hear about the ongoing elevator issues during your stay—we completely understand how frustrating that can be. While it’s unfortunately out of our direct control, we do share guests concerns with the Pointe West HOA and continue to advocate for consistent maintenance and improvements. Sandy Turtle is a beautiful unit, located right by the lazy river and bay. If you like to fish, be at the shoreline in minutes. Sorry about the bed issue. We have had that looked it. Thank you for your review. The Sandy Turtle is a beautiful condo with many extra touches and comforts of home included. The TV on the patio is a big hit as well as those amazing Sunset Views! I am sorry you experienced an issue with the bayside pool, that is not the normal at all, perhaps it was a windy day which may bring in debris. Nevertheless, we have shared that with management.
