Thank you for choosing our vacation home for your stay at Pointe West. Vitamin Sea’s location offers privacy and beautiful views of the ocean and wildlife. The properties golf cart trails are great for viewing the area and my favorite is riding over to watch the sunset on the bay. The condo is nicely furnished with updated living room furnishings for a comfortable relaxing stay. Hope to host you again soon. Pointe West Vacation Team

We are glad you enjoyed our vacation rental Sheila, we really try to make staying at Vitamin Sea relaxing and easy. The onsite restaurant is being remodeled as well as updates to the gym to make future stays fabulous. We do hope you will come back another time and look forward to welcoming future guests to Vitamin Sea. Your friends at Pointe West Vacation

Thank you Andy for your 5-star review of Vitamin Sea! It was our pleasure to host your stay and are happy you enjoyed the rental and the unbeatable gulf views it offers. We have shared your feedback on the wristband resort amenity fees with the club, a seperate entity from us. The beach is wide open for guest use and one of the best on the island, away from the tourist crowds. "Beaching it" is a perfect way to spend the day! Come visit again and we look forward to welcoming new guests to Pointe West Vacation

We appreciate your stay and feedback however text messages and emails about our check-in details were sent well in advance of your stay. A 11am entry was not approval or even asked of. Sometimes, though a rental is clean, a crew member may have to return to address a maintenance item or replace stock. Our inbetween check-out and check-in times are our times to make sure the rental is ready. For your safety and ours we inform guests not to enter until we give approval. If the rental was available earlier we do text our guests and let them know. Codes are changed for each guest stay. As outlined in our rental agreement, unauthorized, early check-in not approved by us does incur a fee. We are sorry you felt nickeled and dimed, not our intention. Just following our procedures to ensure each guest has a great stay. Wishing you a wonderful summer. Your friends at Pointe West Vacation

Upon arrival we ask every guest to take a few minutes and inspect the rental unit so that we can address any problematic issues immediately. This guest did not call until the evening before her departure. When we offered to move to another unit, she declined. There was no mention of broken furniture. We had the unit treated for sugar ants after their departure. It seems suspicious that once we did not meet her demands on monetary compensation that we received this unfavorable review. Pointe West Resort is located on the west end of the island as shown on the VRBO listing map. It is away from the crowds of the seawall and the place to be if you want a relaxing vacation with a clean private beach and great pools. Please be sure to view location on map or call us with any questions you may have BEFORE booking. In this community, we are individual owners who open up our vacation homes to others. We are not a luxury hotel chain, but we try our best to make sure our guest have an enjoyable time. When a guest asks for a refund at the end of their stay, it is hard to justify. Our rates are fairly priced in comparison to other units in the community. It will be nice when VRBO allows us (the owners) to review the guests - this feature is coming soon! Hopefully, this will stop those who write unfair reviews and stop the abuse of extortion. This condo (for most part) receives high star ratings because a MAJORITY of our guest have had a great experience and enjoy coming to Galveston!!!

Thank you for you stay and your great photos of the sunrise and sunset. One of the many reasons to visit along with one of the best beaches found on the island. It was our pleasure to host you and we hope you will return again. Your friends at Pointe West Vacation

Sorry Mother Nature had other plans for your stay but so glad you enjoyed some beach walks; the best after rain for shell finding and nature sightings. Hopefull you enjoyed the covered, spacious balcony with outstanding Beach Front views to unwind and relax. One of our guests favorite comment is the location of the community; perfect for those that like to escape the hustle and bustle of the tourist area of Galveston. We hope to see you again soon! Your friends at Pointe West Vacation

Vitamin Sea does have beautiful serene views of both the beach and bay; perfect for catching sunrises and sunsets. Well appointed with many thoughtful touches it is perfect for those wanting a relaxing getaway all while still being in quick access to the Beach Club. We are sorry you encountered a rude staff member. The Beach Club office is a separate entity from us but rest assured we did share your feedback. We want all our guests to have a fantastic time no matter what they do during their stay. We look forward to seeing you again! Your friends at Pointe West Vacation
