OBX Sunset Lovers ! 2 Bed/2 Bath Soundside Condo with Canal View

Dare To Dream is a completely remodeled 2nd floor condo in the heart of the Outer Banks - Kill Devil Hills, NC. We are tucked back in a lovely, quiet Soundside neighborhood only 1 mile to the beach and an easy bike ride if you wish. Working from home? Enjoy a working vacation at the beach! We have high speed wireless internet as well as a small desk with a power strip for multiple devices. Close to restaurants, shopping, the Wright Brothers National Memorial, Mini Golf and grocery stores plus the wide expanse of shoreline with 32 public beach access areas in Kill Devil Hills alone. There is a wonderful bike/walking path that winds for miles through the neighborhood and down to the Sound so plan to bring your bikes! Enjoy the beautiful outdoor pool and tennis courts that are available for guests ,or walk a short distance down to the end of the canal where it meets the Sound. It's here that you will see some gorgeous sunsets ! There are a few areas along the canal for experienced kayakers to launch into the Sound and our young guests will enjoy occasionally seeing ducks and turtles in the canal also. One of our favorite things about the condo is the covered deck. It provides a peaceful spot for morning coffee and evening beverages or just an escape from the heat. Overlooking live oak trees and the canal ; it is a great place for wildlife watching. Dare To Dream is a spacious and well appointed retreat for 2 couples or a family; furnished with 2 comfortable Queen beds and 2 full bathrooms boasting a rain shower in the master. There is an electric fireplace in the living room for cozy evenings as well as the convenience of a washer/dryer unit in the condo. You will find the kitchen with newer appliances to be well stocked for all of your cooking needs. The Smart TV's in the living room and each bedroom are equipped with Roku TV for your favorite streaming accounts as well as Spectrum TV for many popular channels plus local ones. Between a wide variety of attractions to some of the best fishing on the east coast, your visit to the Outer Banks can be everything you're dreaming of !

We 100% enjoyed staying at this property! It was beautiful and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated having beach chairs and umbrellas available for use!Loved having access to a pool as well. Highly recommend this place!

Not great but not bad. The apartment is quite dark. Check out instructions said to leave the main blanket on the bed for “disinfecting”, which made me believe that it isn’t actually washed after each guest. But the unit is in a decent location.

This was our first trip to OBX and we couldn't have picked a better place! We were centrally located to everything there is to see and do, close to restaurants and shops and even miniature golf!The place was cozy and spacious for the four of us. Loved the oitdoor deck in the mornings for coffee and reading. It was perfect!

We were in town for a family wedding and the condo was perfect. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. The location was convenient for our unique situation but would also be great for a vacation, close to the beach and lots of Outer Banks attractions. Tracy was a terrific host. She provided clear information for check-in and check-out and she responded almost immediately to text messages. We would definitely stay here again.

Memorial Day Weekend

Property was just as described and shown online. Close to beach,restaurants, shops,and groceries. Very clean,and easy check in and check out process. Communication with owners always had a fast response time. Would love to be able to stay here again soon.

Perfect vacation spot for family and super clean!

This was my first personal VRBO booking and I was really nervous from the horror stories of my friends and family’s experiences with other places. I did a lot of research and this place had amazing reviews so we booked it for the week. It was everything the reviews said! Perfectly clean and well stocked with everything we needed. It was so nice to have beach chairs, umbrellas and toys for my 2 and a half year old daughter. Tracey the owner was so easy to communicate with and made everything super easy and clear for check in and check out. The spot was perfect in a safe area and my husband and I sat out on the deck every morning drinking our coffee looking at the canal. The pool was walking distance right there which my daughter loved. I also walked every morning at sunrise to the beach which was exactly a quick easy mile away. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t be happier. Definitely using this place next time we go to the OBX

Beautiful, Clean, and Great Location

I don't think I've ever stayed somewhere so clean or well stocked as this condo. Tracey has thought of literally everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We had a wonderful few days playing on the beach (we took advantage of the well stocked beach items she had available for us to use), swimming in the pool, and stuffing ourselves silly on seafood. Thank you, Tracey!

Great condo and spot!

This was our first time heading to the Outer Banks from CT and the property was exactly as it was listed online! The condo was spotless, had everything we needed and was quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed every morning with my coffee and book on the little deck while my teenager slept in :) The pool was a short walk and the beach was a short drive (we could have walked but again...lazy teenager!). It was nice having the grocery store literally on the corner and we enjoyed the mini golf and all of the restaurants in the area. Tracey was very responsive to any questions and we would 100% recommend this rental!

Paradise in Kill Devil Hills

This property was just amazing! Condo is located right on the creek nestled amongst the trees. Sitting on the spacious balcony after a day at the beach and pool was absolutely tranquil. Condo is decorated so nicely with everything available at your fingertips. We felt right at home! Only a 2 minute drive to the beach. Owner was extremely attentive to our needs and provided us any necessary updates. Will definitely book this property again!

Family Beach Trip

The check in process was very easy and the listing was accurate. This is a quiet complex with a pool and tennis courts. The unit was well stocked qith just about everything you would need to cook meals at home. Very clean. There are two grocery stores nearby and countless restaurants. To get to the beach, you will need to drive but there are plenty of options for parking and beach access.

Great place to stay!

We were able to check in early, which was a huge help. The apartment was very clean, and very nicely decorated. Full size kitchen, and fully stocked! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Very quiet complex. If we ever get down that way again, we will definitely stay there. Tracey is very nice, and is great at getting back to you if you have questions.

Comfy, quiet & beautiful!

I have three main things that I look for in a rental. Comfortable beds, a quiet location and cleanliness. The beds here were extremely comfortable. Even the pillows and the couches were very comfortable and the setting in a nice quiet location. Every part of the condo was immaculate and very well decorated in a beautiful beachy vibe. Tracey the host was extremely accommodating and there are a lot of extras like games, camp chairs, etc. that make this rental exceptional. Thanks for an outstanding stay, we loved it!

The Outer Banks hold a special place in our hearts as it was one of our first travel destinations and we later became engaged on Ocracoke Island. I love that the property is so close to the beach and many other amenities but is tucked back in a quiet ,wooded neighborhood. A peaceful and relaxing spot to enjoy nature.

Several public access areas to the Sound (Kitty Hawk Bay) are also close by on Bay Drive. Working from home ? Why not enjoy a "Flexcation" at the beach ! We are set up with a small desk, multiple charging options for several devices plus high speed internet for your work space.
