You can stroll along the Russell-Fields Pier (three-quarters of a mile east), take in a wildlife show at Gulf World (one mile east), or drive 11 miles east to spectacular St. Andrews State Park for the day. Absolutely loved staying here ! My family of 4 kids and 2 adults fit perfectly and had all we could need kitchen wise . Very cozy . The communication was very good and so friendly . Feel very happy with our stay and will be booking with them again!

Great Vacation Spot

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at Tidewater! The condo was clean and on level 8 which was perfect if the elevator lines were long (overall we did not have a problem with the elevators). Only recommendation I have is make sure you bring your beach stuff. Chair rental at the resort was very expensive-& the condo does not provide anything beach related. Dish soap, garbage bags, toilet paper & paper towels & extra dish washer tabs are also recommended as the condo did not provide refills. Overall a great place and would definitely stay again! Perks were the Starbucks on site and a DJ on the pool deck on Friday and Saturday! We also loved that you could order food and drinks at the pool & it’s nice there’s a restaurant on site!

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again! The 2 pools and beach access were great. The condo was clean and stocked better than any kitchen we have ever stayed in! We read reviews on the elevators and long wait times but we actually found the elevator wait was not bad at all. The only thing we would suggest is making it know there is a large “lip” when stepping onto the porch. Several members of our party tripped and fell over it during the stay.

PERFECT CONDO TERRIBLE RESORT.We loved the room itself, it was clean, well furnished and if it wasn’t for the resort this would have been my favorite stay ever. The resort has INSANE rules regarding the beach and what you can set up. No tents, not even small ones for infants. If the back of the chair you take is to tall based on the opinion of security that walks the beach 24/7 you will be asked to sit your chair on the tide line so you have to sit in the water.. mainly because they want you to purchase the chairs they have for rent. The elevators are absolutely terrible. We waited 20-45 minutes at a time for elevators. They sometimes have staff get on the elevators and bypass floors at peak times so you may get on you may not.. if you take any floats to the pool or beach you have to deflate them completely or you’re not allowed on the elevators. The room was absolutely perfect no complaints.. the condo and beach rules made this trip miserable.

Winter Getaway

This property had everything that we needed for our 7 week winter stay. We love the Tidewater resort building. The management company was always thinking about our safety through the storms that popped up during our stay.

Nice Location, Disappointed in condition

Overall the Condo Unit was nice. I was disappointed in how dirty the floors were. The back door lock was broken and I never received a call back from the management company. Neither or the indoor hot tubs were working, we weren't allowed to use the indoor pool and a lot of the the exercise equipment is very rusted/broken.

The condo was nice, clean and in a good location. The elevators were slow not always working and we have a wait less than 15mins the most of the time we had over 30min waits on the elevator. Security was nice to me and my wife, but rude to my kids.

The wait for an elevator was ridiculous and most times we took the hot stairs up and down. The beach is mostly occupied by their chairs and umbrella's. We could only set up in the wet sand. The staff would harass certain families but then let other people stay where they were. It is too bad that this nice room is in such a bad building. I will not go to Tidewater again.

It is really a shame that guests don't understand how to leave a review or who they are reviewing.. All of this guest complaints have to do with the Resort and Not Four Star Condo. Please leave the resort a Terrible review and not the Property Manager. The Resort is not the property manager. All this guest interactions with our family business were positive. We cannot control your flight down here, we cannot control the waits on elevators, we cannot control the weather and we cannot control how the beach attendants are acting. Your condo was nice, your condo was clean, we met every expectation a property manager can meet and yet, we are not recognized as such due to circumstances out of our control. Extremely frustrating.

Beautiful Condo on 8th floor.

This condo has an amazing view of the ocean. It is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The only thing lacking was a corkscrew, so if you are a wine drinker, bring one! All the reviews say the elevators are horrible, we had no problem at all. The longest we waited was maybe 5 minutes. We hope to rent this same unit again next year.
