My family and I enjoyed our stay for the summer at the weekend. Place was in pretty peaceful and beautiful spot and really close to the village where all the shops and restaurants are, we really enjoyed it. We wished we went in the hot tub sooner but it was very relaxing. The house was warmer but the host was really fast and responsive at providing extra fans to use and those made the difference at making the rooms more colder. Overall it was a great relaxing experience.

Great bday stay

Good location and suitable for two couples. But could really use some updating: carpeting felt dirty, need more shelving in bathroom, no garb bar or tub mat in bathroom, no overhead lighting and fan in first floor bedroom.

Cozy Cabin

It was a pretty nice cabin. Would recommend having the fox tails removed from the backyard since they are very dangerous for dogs.

Somewhat Disappointed

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our second stay at this property was disappointing, different from last year. The house needs some upkeep - rug was stained, especially on the stairs and in the bedroom downstairs. The kitchen drawers needed to be wiped down inside, and I got a sliver on the bottom banister. All of the darts were broken, and the foosball table needs a bit of attention. The yard had a lot of weeds (some is understandable). The most troubling thing was not being informed that a house was being constructed across the street. We could not sit outside to enjoy the lake view due to the noise nor could we keep the door open during the day. “Nice to haves” would be salt and pepper as a minimum, something to sit on in the backyard (other than the worn bench), as it is nice by the jacuzzi (which we did enjoy).The bed downstairs and pillows were comfortable, and the addition of the Pac Man /games was fun.

Since your last stay, this cabin has had new carpeting throughout, an AC unit added upstairs and yes, the Arcade Game Table for added fun. We understand how frustrating the nearby construction noise must have been, especially when you were hoping to enjoy the outdoor spaces and lake views. While this was outside of our control, we appreciate your feedback regarding communication. Thank you as well for highlighting the comfortable bed, the hot tub, and the game additions. Your comments help us improve, and we hope to have the opportunity to provide a better experience in the future. We will be reaching out to you directly to address your concerns further.

Great location

This cabin was very nice and very clean. The reviews I read said it was clean, and that is why I decided on this one. Beds were comfortable, stove/oven was nice, and we liked the fenced in yard. The only thing we did not like was the very small bathrooms, but it wasn’t a game changer. Also, displaying and address on the back fence would have been very helpful in finding the property initially. I recommend this property.

Good location

Good location. Rustic. Clean. Furnishings were a little uncomfortable. Nice front balcony to hang out on. Kitchen balcony needs some chairs. Combo lock is a little temperamental when locking. Checkin was cumbersome and time-consuming. Good place if traveling with dogs.

Nice enough cabin, great location

We only stayed a few nights, and for three adult men that was just about right. The cabin had everything advertised, but was much smaller than the photography would lead you to believe. Location though - very nice. Walkable to restaurants and The Village, as well as one of the marinas, where we rented a pontoon and enjoyed putzing around the lake. There were some maintenance issues, which disappointed us, but I have to say the management company/team were incredibly responsive and responsible. I have no doubt the next guests will enjoy a trouble free vacation.

Great Experience

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a great location, Beautiful spot with a gorgeous view of the lake. Very clean. Great customer service. The wifi wasnt working right when we got there and they sent someone over not even 10 minutes later and fixed it. The kids loved the foosball table and darts. They also provided board games. The outdoor hot tub was great. We had the best time at this cabin and would love to come back again.

Cozy Rental in Big Bear

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cabin is in a great central location, close to all that big bear has to offer. Home was clean and furniture was comfortable, plus we loved that both living space upstairs and downstairs had TV which made family movie watching a pleasure. The foosball table was a winner and the jacuzzi was new, hot and clean which was a nice relaxing experience after hitting the slopes. Do bring some of your own supplies because some basic amenities are missing; they provide a small hotel sized bar of soap in one bathroom and salt and pepper in the kitchen but that’s about it. Some improvement can be made by providing kitchen towels, kitchen dish soap particularly because there is no dishwasher, there was also no cleaning towels and limited cleaning supplies. Check-in/-out was a breeze and trash facility is very close by.

Cozy by the lake

We had 6 adults staying at this cozy cabin. The location was really great- close to the lake and a nice walk every morning to Big Bear Blvd and small markets and restaurants. The layout was a little surprising. Bottom layer had a small living room and bedroom. Second floor had very nice kitchen, two other bedrooms. And a small living space that had a TV and dining room. It was a little odd hanging out in the dining room but we got adjusted. The third bedroom has two twin beds and no blinds, just sheer curtains. They may want to invest in some blinds or darker shades because we had a natural 6am wake up call. Didn’t slow us down - was nice to get up and get going anyway. Jacuzzi was the bomb. Didn’t have to lift a finger and it was already 103. Great way to end the night after fun hikes. Shower was HOT and awesome pressure. Overall it was nice- but if sharing with another couple- someone’s getting the short stick.

Hot Summer Weekend at Cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great communication via text message leading up to the check-in process. We paid for early check-in and were told that we would have a text message sent to us in the morning with the address and entry information. I had to text in the afternoon because I still have not received the text, but the team was polite and apologetic. We went in the summer during a heat wave and although the listing said AC, it only contained a window unit on the second floor. The thermostat downstairs read 75° while the thermostat upstairs red 92°. We called the company and they sent someone out immediately the gentleman was polite and professional, but told us that big bear does not typically have air-conditioning. He suggested opening all of the windows and doors to allow for a breeze to circulate through and assured us that at night it would get cooler. We went out and did some shore fishing at night to cool off when we came back. The upstairs temperature had decreased to 86°. We tried to sleep through the night, but decided to cut our trip short when we found a wolf spider in the upstairs bedroom.I think if I would’ve done a bit more research about the lack of air-conditioning units in big bear in this being one of the hottest weeks of the year for them I probably would not have planned the trip. Everyone I spoke with from the team was polite and professional, and extremely helpful. We did reach out to let them know we’d be leaving a day early. We had already packed up our dogs and our kids. They tried to ask if we wanted a different rental unit and we declined.If you’re going to go to big Bear, I’d recommend going in the spring or the fall or winter if you like winter activities the area is beautiful. The people are nice and it is very dog friendly.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pictures were deceiving. The place was a lot smaller than envisioned. Kitchen was located upstairs which was really odd. Overall the place could’ve been cleaned a lot better. We had to re wash lots of the dishes. The walk to the lake was close, but there was no where for us to put a towel/ chair down. Had to drive to real lake access for the day. Parking was a nightmare especially since we brought a boat and have 2 big trucks. The parking really is only for 2 vehicles. 2/3 bedrooms got horrible sun every morning. There were white curtains that did not help at all. Foosball table was broken. Bathrooms ridiculously small.
