Fra 2. maj 2019 er vanddybden til dockbrug 3,5 fod til 4 meter dyb.

Oplev lidt af Big Bear Lake historie i denne smukt vedligeholdt 1940 er søen hytte på din næste ferie.  Denne hytte har hyggelige funktioner, herunder en naturlig sten gas pejs, Knotty Pine vægge, og eftertænksomt valgt bjerg indretning og møbler.  Se dit yndlingsprogram eller film på tv med kabel og DVD-afspiller, mens du lounge på sofaen. Sip på din morgen kaffe fra bordet med udsigt over vandet og bjergene ud over. Køkkenet fastholder det rustikke føler med moderne opgraderinger, herunder en gas rækkevidde, opvaskemaskine, kaffekande og mikroovn.  Nede i hallen er en 3/4 badeværelse med dobbelt håndvask og første soveværelse.  Nyd udsigt over søen fra komforten af de to dronning senge eller se tv med kabel og dvd-afspiller.  Et andet soveværelse med fuld seng samt et komplet badeværelse og vaskemaskine og tørretumbler er slukket i stuen.  Det tredje soveværelse er nedenunder og har udsigt over søen, en kingsize-seng og tv med kabel.

Det forhøjede tilbage dæk er, hvor du vil elske at tilbringe mest tid.  Læn dig tilbage i boblebadet, mens du nyder den friske synspunkter luft og sø, eller grill på propan grill.  Tag en tur ned til vandkanten og se ænder eller gøre lidt fiskeri ud dock.

We stayed here for a weekend getaway with our two teenagers and everything was perfect! Rooms were clean and we loved the cabin decor. Hot tub was a hit with our teenage daughters. Location was perfect right next to the lake. We had a great time.

A great value for a lake front cabin

We enjoyed this well equipped cabin. The house was well stocked, clean and had a great view of the Lake. The town of Bug Bear was an amazing mountain town with great restaurants, access to amazing hiking and nice shops. We would stay here again.

We are actually at the Lakeside home. The views are awesome and the house is very nice. You need to replace the can opener it does not work. Also the front porch was very slippery. Not sure what you could do about that but it was a hazard.

Anniversary trip

My spouse and I spent our 40th anniversary here. This house was exactly what we expected from the listing. We enjoyed ourselves immensely each day hiking, kayaking, shopping and it was wonderful to come home to relax, hot tub, sit by the fire, sit on the deck and watch the views.

Great getaway

House was very cozy and clean. Check in was a breeze. Jacuzzi was amazing!! Only negatives was that the heaters were very loud, there was only one spoon, could have used some more kitchen necessities like tin foil, ziplock bags etc. otherwise an amazing place and will definitely come back.

Cozy lake front

Great cabin for a getaway with friends. Loved that it was right by the lake. Rooms were spacious and the inside of the cabin were great. Some stuff does need to be updated like their pots and pans along with the furnace. It was quite loud. To summarize my trip, it was a wonderful spot, wonderful cabin. Will definitely be staying here for the summer.

AWESOME Location Great Cabin!

Stayed here during the end of winter season and it was AWESOME! My only complain was that we could not use the outside seating because it was covered in 2-3 feet of ice... not snow ice. The inside was clean and very well set up for several couples that are staying together. The hot tub was awesome! The front room was perfect for games and the fireplace was great to use even though it was gas ;). Parking is a little right even for two cars but I would totally stay here again! Thank you for the great stay!

The Inside was fairly clea. A few bugs on ledges etc. EVERY screen was ripped and tattered. Railings on outside deck and leafing onto property are loose and wonky.

cozy cabin

Location was great. Cabin overall good, but is worn and cleanliness was not good. Crayon marks and dried "boogers" on walls. Bedspreads stained or not washed, dirty dishes in cupboards. Carpet frayed in spots. No extra towels or blankets provided at all. Couch worn and saggy. Crumbs and debris on hearth. Heater fans in bathrooms don't work. Needs some tlc and updating and to be better stocked.

This is not what we like to hear from our tenants, and not up to our standards. We will make note of the home not being properly cleaned and address it right away with our cleaning staff. We make a note of all issues that you had faced and do the needful on an urgent basis. We will notify the maintenance staff regarding the issues with the Heater fans and others that you mentioned like towels, blankets so that tenants in the future do not face the same kind of issues. As we are the management company for the house this is something that we can and will address once notified to us. One word to describe? Cozy. The house was very clean and we settled in very easily. Everything we needed for our stay was there. The remote for the living room light/fan wasn't working and we contacted the host and someone responded very quickly and sent the repair person while we were out for a few hours. The house had different heating sources so all rooms could individually adjust the heat to their own comfort and not be frozen or sweating.We didn't try the hot tub, but it was working when I checked.I think the only issues we found while staying here was not the fault of the host. When we tried to contact the host through the VRBO app (this is the first time we've ever used VRBO) the message didn't go through. I just used the text we were sent for the house code to respond.The second issue is that my daughter and I didn't catch any fish in the lake. Boooo!!!! But that's not the fault of the host.Just be mindful that there are a lot of stairs in this house. If you have mobility issues, this could be a problem.I'm sure we'll be trying this house again in teh future.

By the lake

The cabin is well equipped and has everything in it. It’s very vintage and there is a smell of mildew in it. Maybe in mild weather is cozy but we went during the hot summer and it was really hot inside. The cabin doesn’t have good insulation. They have a lot of old fans though, their dock needs maintenance it has a lot of screws loose which were sharp and dangerous. We also got some splinters in our feet. The location is great. We went hiking only 5 mins away to a spectacular peak. I was disappointed with the water in the lake. It doesn’t look very clean and has a lot of algae. The house could use a good remodeling. The hot tub also needs chemicals. We came back home a night before. It was hard to sleep in the heat. The beds are comfortable but the pillows were rough.

Great location on the lake but could use some updates

This was a wonderfully located property that we enjoyed staying in especially because of the beautiful view of the water and access to our own dock. It definitely has a cute cozy mountain vibe. However, there are some things that could just use updating. The bottom of the oven fell out constantly, the hot tub needed repair before we could use it, the dock gave everyone splinters through our jeans before we decided to sit on blankets instead. Ultimately, the whole place could probably do with a deep clean, a fresh coat of paint, and some sanding. All in all, a cute property that we enjoyed staying in, but the proximity to the lake is really what makes it work!

Location location location

Lake views from the spa and the house are what makes this place great. The house itself is in need of some TLC. We had several issues that came up, but were able to manage. The king bed could use a mattress topper or something it was so firm! Definitely would stay here again for the location alone!

Not as advertised

We found this place and initiated the booking on Vrbo. But it was a third party company Destination Big Bear that ended up managing the transaction. This place was fine. We were expecting a 5-star home but it underwhelmed. The master bedroom is the basement (no bathroom down there). The main floor bedroom has two beds in it. The third bedroom has a full size bed but it barely fits. The living room is not terribly comfortable. The home sleeps 6 but no way that 6 can comfortably hang out in the common room. The televisions did not work (we called the management company who came out, changed some batteries in the remotes, didn't help, then said that the TV's were old and it was up to the owner not the management company to fix them). We were on vacation near a lake, mountains, etc. - so why care about a TV? Because it was March Madness and my team was playing! The place was not super clean. There was trash on the deck. Coffee maker had something growing inside it. I will say that the hot tub was very nice. And the view of the lake was great. It was in a quiet location. If we head back to Big Bear in the future, we will not be staying in this house again.
