The property is well represented in the listing. The host has the cabin appointed with the comforts of home. Beautiful surroundings. The huge deck is the perfect spot for relaxing and listening to the waterfalls through the property. A piece of heaven!Winding scenic road into nearby Milford where we exploded the shops and restaurants. Nearby hiking in beautiful woods for walking. McDade trail is also nearby and was an adventure in mountain biking! A great location and spot to stay for those who love the outdoors!

We had a very nice time. The cabin was clean and very nicely prepared. The short path to the lovely fire pit was a bit "slippery when wet" but that is nature for you and was not a problem for us. Already looking at the calendar to find a date to return.

We cannot speak highly enough about our experience at the Remote Waterfall Cabin at Swiftwater Acres! David is a great host - from booking and communicating the details all the way thru check-out, he was very responsive to questions. It was easy to tell he loves the property and being able to share this special place with others. The location is spectacular- the waterfalls, remote setting and being surrounded by beautiful natural forest provides an immediate stress relief. Loved not having a TV, but still able to be connected thru WiFi if necessary. Highly recommend! We have already booked our return next year and added a few more days the stay. Thank you again David for sharing your piece of paradise for others to enjoy!

The description of the property and the photographs provided don’t begin to do it justice. The creek is amazing with its constant sound. It was just the place I needed to get away from things, relax, and take a breath. The host are very easy to work with, the cottage has everything you could need, and it’s sparkling clean. I will definitely come back again.

This property is absolute heaven. I booked this as a birthday gift to myself. I wanted three days to unwind and unplug and this place couldn’t have been more perfect. The privacy of 45 acres of solitude is incredible. The property itself is immaculate. You can tell the hosts put a lot of care into this place. The outside is even better than the pictures. Sitting on a giant deck watching the creek as I had breakfast was amazing. Watching the sunset next to a little waterfall? Yes please. The inside is pristine and adorable. There was a very welcoming vibe when I got here. Not to mention the wonderful communication from the host. When you book he gives specific instructions on how to find this place and you will need them. He also has you check in with him once you’ve arrived, which gives a very safe vibe for solo travelers.I would say this place is a 10/10 and will be booking again.

Relaxing venture

Rainy overcast the days we stayed but we hiked several falls in the area had a fire pit the first night by the waterfall it was very relaxing. A nice place to stay great communication

Much Needed Getaway!

This secluded cabin is amazing and David is great with communications leading up to and throughout your stay! Bring a fishing rod and reel and a walking stick so you can explore the breathtaking 45 acres this adventure has to offer! We will definitely be back!

Great weekend in the wilderness

David’s property is exactly as advertised. Remote, relaxing and fantastic! Check in process was easy, we were able to check in a little early. The property was clean and had everything we needed for our weekend away. We hiked to the lake. Such a great trip! Will be back next year.

Tranquil Retreat

The property itself was gorgeous with many acres to explore and a beautiful stream to follow. The sound of it at night was wonderful. David was extremely responsive and even gave us hiking and exploring tips. The cabin had all the creature comforts you could want and more--music, games, plenty of towels, dishes etc. Highly recommend this property.

Paradise by the creek

The communication and directions were perfect. Everything we needed to fully enjoy the property was available. The cabin is cozy and spotless. We spent most of our time on the property and will be returning in the future! I feel like every season would be a unique experience here.. Thank you so much!

We've stayed in many cabins and this one was by far the best experience ever. The host provided everything that was needed in quantity and quality. If you like privacy this is for you and the waterfalls on the property are fantastic, we can't wait to go back again. Thank you David!!!
