Nestled in a safe, fire-free neighborhood, the cottage features a king suite with loft, private parking, and beautiful views.

Enjoy a full kitchen, coffee station, washer/dryer, Smart TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a desk, providing everything you need for a peaceful and convenient Malibu getaway.

Charming and private Malibu cottage featuring a cozy outdoor patio with BBQ — perfect for relaxing or dining al fresco. Inside, enjoy a comfortable living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, and laundry machines for convenience.

The main floor includes the primary bedroom and bathroom, while the loft upstairs offers a twin trundle bed (two twins) and an additional queen air mattress stored in the closet. Please note the loft does not have a door, and the bathroom is on the main floor.

A peaceful, well-equipped retreat ideal for families or small groups seeking a relaxing Malibu stay.

Host communicative and friendly, clear pre-arrival comms, excellent location. A little quirky layout, steep stairs, but clean and cozy…fine for weekend stay. Comfortable primary room bed, and nice kitchen setup. Couch needs replacing and blinds did not work. Good parking for 1-2 cars.

Very cute and clean, comfy cottage with a gorgeous view of Malibu. Would absolutely stay here again… it was perfect!

Relaxing in Malibu

Although all of us worked remotely during our stay, we could not avoid the wonderful, relaxed vibe of Malibu and our little cottage. We felt transported and loved the neighborhood. Literally, minutes away from Malibu Country Mart by car (which has fun shopping, restaurants and a Whole Foods). We visited Paradise Cove and the Bluffs Park and loved it all. The cottage is clean and we felt very happy with our stay.

House is located in a beautiful area, stores and restaurants are close by, the area is safe and peaceful, you have everything you need for your stay, we found everything clean, the only problem we found was the a/c, you need to open the window during the night to have the house cool, we recommend this house for a small family. Thank you.

Not great in August

The house could be good if it’s not summer. The temperature inside the house was 85 until about 2:00 am. The fans and window units that were provided did not work. Though the location was convenient, it was not great for our trip.

I think this is a cute, tucked-away place. However, the pictures are a little misleading. Pictures are definitely set up to make it look larger. The back patio area was tall weeds. The sink in the kitchen was loose, so the next am the bag of crackers was wet from leaking. The refrigerator stopped working so the things I bought when I'd come into town were spoiled the next day. It was unfortunate bc it was a Sunday so no one could come out to fix it. The property contacts were great to communicate about it though. However, no offer to compensate for the spoiled food. The only bathroom is upstairs so go before going to bed because it's precarious to get to in the dark. The place is a cottage that is not special and for what you pay a night, so I was pretty disappointed; Malibu or not, it's not worth the very high nightly price tag.

Horrible place

Buyer beware!! House and property were falsely photographed. Property is not safe. My husband and I would not stay. We left our 20 and 24 year old daughters to stay and told them not to walk outside. We saw snakes and snake holes everywhere. Property was filthy. Dirty used towel found outside upon arrival. Looks like the place was not swept or cleaned in months. The terrace had a filthy folding table and dirty plastic chairs. Not at all what is shown in the photos which must be from at least 5 years ago. VRBO needs to remove this house.

Serene and charming Malibu cottage

This cute cottage has a lovely setting, surrounded by wild plant life like mimosa and indigenous succulents. We enjoyed the outdoor table and BBQ at the back with a view over a little valley. It is very peaceful and quiet, yet conveniently located, only few minutes from Malibu village with its supermarkets, shops and restaurants. A short distance along the coast road is one of the loveliest beaches I’ve seen, perfect for our morning walk. The owner was very responsive and the booking was very smooth. Highly recommended.

Perfect location!

This property checked all the boxes for us! The location was fantastic - we were walking distance to Pepperdine and a very short drive to get groceries or go to a restaurant. It was quiet, master bed was very comfy...we'd stay here again!
