100 yards east of the front door is the entrance to Elizabeth Tilton Wild Preserve which has running/hiking paths that will take you all the way out to the tip of Jessup's neck, 100 yards to the north is the private beach access for morning walks, swimming, fishing or to take in breathtaking sunsets.
