The Cabin - It's Get Cozy Time! The Hot Tub is Ready!
This ideal couple's retreat is a super cozy cabin located on our private property. This cabin has all the amenities of home in approx. 400 sf with an amazing amount of storage. It has a full bath and kitchen. It has a full bath and kitchen. Enjoy the private pergola patio! Dine outside after preparing your meals on the Blackstone griddle grill, enjoy sitting on the rockers while watching the deer cross the lower field, swing in the hammocks AND relax in the hot tub under the starry sky! This cabin has all the amenities of home in approximately 400 sf with an amazing amount of storage. It has a full bath and kitchen. During the day, visit the local attractions and come back to The Cabin to chill in the evenings! Located on a quiet county road, this cabin has farmhouse charm. Rock into tranquil comfort on the front porch. On cool nights snuggle up by the gas firepit table out back. The property is just minutes from Hanging Rock State Park. There you can hike, fish, mountain bike, kayak or canoe the day away. You could also tour the Yadkin Valley wineries for a fun day trip. Well within an hour you could be in Mayberry, the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Old Salem or Pilot Mountain. The backyard is spacious for playing yard golf, darts, disk golf or corn hole. If you bring your bike or kayak, you can store it in the barn. But the real charm of this place is the quiet retreat of a place to rest at the end of fun packed day.
We have 4 fur babies on the property. They are confined to the property by an underground fence. The Cabin is within their boundary, but rest assured we will do our very best to keep them from visiting you too much! Actually they are very spoiled and prefer to be in our (their) house!
A dog will be considered to accompany you as well (max. 60 lbs). There is a $50 pet fee. However, we have dogs on site so we need to discuss prior to bookings. Thank you for your cooperation with this condition.
EV Charger Note -There is a dedicated 50 amp plug for your vehicle. You can charge your car if you have a 4-prong cord to plug in. Please send me a message for more details.

Our rentals are located on the family land we call Tedderfarm. The land was once a working chicken and tobacco farm. Now we just grow grass. The Cabin was originally built in the late 40's. It has always belonged in the family. We completely renovated it about 10 years ago to serve as a guest house for family.
My husband and I are both retired. We spend most every nice day outside working around the property. We live on the same quiet county road. We personally manage and maintain the properties.

The Cabin is located on over 40 acres of family owned property. We maintain all of it. Our home is located at the very end of the road with all our rentals just a short walk away. This tiny home lends a very warm, comfy, cozy vibe. Enjoy the quiet nights star gazing and listening to the crickets and tree frogs.
What makes this area so inviting is the location. You can
1. Be at the top mountains within minutes
2. Spend hours tubing on nearby rivers.
3. Visit historical landmarks here in Stokes County or all neighboring counties
4. Go for a ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway
5. Tour local wineries and vineyards
6. Shop at one of the largest malls in NC within 30 minuets
We have two other homes that we rent to traveling professionals for approximate 90 day stays. Both homes have recently been updated and are fully furnished. If you need more room than The Cabin can accommodate, check out the availability of The B's Nest or The Eggscape.
We are located in the country community of Quaker Gap outside of King, NC. While we may be a bit farther from city life than some places, no other can compare to the serenity you will have at a Tedderfarm home.

What makes our properties unique is that they are all part of our property within a very short walking distance right from each other. So if you are traveling for vacation with extended family or friends, you could possibly rent both homes and The Cabin. Please check our other listings for The Eggscape and The B's Nest. When our world returns to "normal" we will once again consider hosting events on the property. In the past, we have hosted weddings, receptions, graduation parties, baby showers and birthday parties. . However you choose to stay, you are sure to find life at Tedderfarm is relaxing (yet never boring) but also fun and entertaining without the hassle.
