In the heart of the Marne countryside, come discover our beautiful region, rich in cultural and culinary heritage. In the picturesque Saint Thierry mountain range, in the northwestern part of the department, you’re just a stone’s throw from Reims—the city where the kings of France were crowned—and at the heart of the Champagne region’s rich wine-growing tradition. Peace and relaxation await you in this charming 19th-century building, a former farm in Vadiville and former stud farm, which has been completely renovated. You’ll have access to a large, private garden—shaded and enclosed by hedges—as well as a terrace equipped with patio furniture, umbrellas, and a barbecue that seats 10 people. You’ll have a spacious living area (with a foosball table) where you can enjoy meals and relax in the sitting area with a fireplace (wood-burning stove). The kitchen, which opens onto the living area, is fully equipped and perfect for entertaining (espresso machine with a built-in coffee grinder, 2 raclette machines, a waffle maker, and a croque-monsieur maker). On the mezzanine, two spacious and unique bedrooms await you: “Le Grenier” with four 90x200 beds (or one large 180x200 bed plus two 90x200 beds, upon request) and “Le Nid” with one 180x200 bed. On the half-floor, you’ll also find two other bedrooms (each with a 160x200 bed): “La Prairie” and “La Rosée.” On the landing, you’ll find a bathroom, a shower room, and a separate toilet. For your comfort during your stay, sheets, towels, and housekeeping are included in the rate. Two hair dryers are available. The cottage is attached to the owners’ home. Two cats live on the farm—Leïca and Bennie—and may enter the cottage; it is their refuge. The owners also have two dogs (so barking may occur) as well as other animals such as sheep, donkeys, and horses (in the stud farm’s pastures). The cottage is accessed from the first floor via the outdoor staircase.
