The Amenities

The Sauna Experience: This is a 16ft sanctuary, custom-built with authentic, imported Japanese Shou Sugi Ban (charred cedar).
• Panoramic Views: Features an all-glass front wall overlooking the Hill Country sunset and our wildlife feeder.
• Authentic Steam: A 10-person room with a HUUM wood-fired stove and 300lbs of volcanic rock for a true "löyly" (steam) experience.
• Private Amenities: Includes a separate changing room, an outdoor copper shower, and interior RGB mood lighting.

The Hot Tub Retreat: This 8-person, aromatic cedar tub offers the best of both worlds—convenience and experience.
• Hybrid (Electric & Wood): The tub is always hot and ready for you to enjoy (electric), or you can opt for the full, rustic wood-fired experience.
• Stargazing: The perfect spot to soak under the vast Texas sky.


Things to note:
• Wellness Amenities: The barn reservation does not include the wellness amenities, please contact us if you would like to add the sauna and hot tub to your stay.
• Climate: Bedrooms have A/C and heat. The main living space does not have A/C, but is designed to catch a wonderful breeze with its ceiling fans and large sliding doors. For cooler months, the wood fire stove and an electric heater keep the main living area comfortable.
• Ranch life: Embrace the charm of staying in nature. Expect sightings of deer, wild turkeys, armadillos, bats, and more! You may encounter an occasional bug inside.
• Safety: Closed-toe shoes and leg coverage recommended for walks; stay out of high grass.
• Hosts: We live part-time in another building on the property — available if needed, but your privacy is fully respected.
• Pets: First pet is $50 per/stay, 2nd pet $25/stay. Maximum 2 pets. Bringing a pet is at your own risk - we recommend dogs to always be on a leash when out on the ranch. Pets are not allowed on the couches or on the beds - please be respectful of that. Pick up after your pet around the buildings (anywhere the grass is mowed). No aggressive animals.
• Events: The barn capacity is 4 adults. Any guests not registered in the booking require pre-authorization by the host. Events are only allowed upon pre-approval by the host and incur additional fees.
