Escape to “Casa Paradiso”! This hill-side retreat with breathtaking 360’ views of the mountains and the Napa Valley. Located behind a private gated drive, this architecturally welcoming home overlooks the world famous Chateau Montelena Vineyard. Only minutes from the wineries, tasting rooms, geothermal hot springs, spas, boutiques, galleries, and restaurants of Calistoga.

Technology upgrades include, Sonos surround sound (indoor/outdoor), Lutron lighting, Nest thermostats, EV charger, YouTube TV, and TESLA Powerwall whole-home energy battery back-up powered by Solar that provides continuous power and water during an outage or PSPS event. New oversized laundry center in the newly finished garage.

Inspired by a visit to Tuscany, the property includes multiple outdoor features, including, courtyard with Bacchus water fountain and 12-person dining table, fire pit, pizza oven, and built-in BBQ and rotisserie. Multiple seating areas around the property allow for peaceful enjoyment of the expansive views. Indulge in the tranquility of the oaks, olive and fruit trees, and rose bushes and enjoy watching the neighbors donkeys.

Enter property to a grand rotunda with spectacular views of the valley and incredible nightly sunsets. This 2-story home with over 3,500 sq ft of living space, includes, 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths. With 2 private spaces located downstairs, this flex space can easily be used for home schooling, offices, or quiet reading. Chefs kitchen fully stocked with all your cooking needs, include, separate Sub Zero fridge and freezer. Separate entrance downstairs for the au pair or guest suite includes full kitchen, bathroom, W+D. Plenty of space for RV parking.

Enjoy private tastings in the 12,000 bottle temperature-controlled wine cellar! Recommendations for local wineries, spas, restaurants, and outdoor activities will be provided to all registered guests.

Amazing views of the valley floor during fall.

Meg was very responsive and the home was perfect for our stay. The home has everything you need for a couple or extended family. Close to Calistoga and area vineyards. The donkeys on the neighbors property were a bonus. Fun to watch.

This is the finest VRBO property we have ever stayed in. The views are magnificent and Calistoga is a cute, quaint town. Our interaction with the property owner was prompt and efficient. We stayed for a month and sorry to return home.

Napa Valley Splendor

Imagine having your own castle perched above the Calistoga valley with a birds eye view of the vineyards, Chateau Montelena and the mist rising from the mineral baths below…Casa Paradiso is that place! Our month long stay was incredibly relaxing and the house was stocked with everything you will need to cook in the beautiful chefs kitchen. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space for dining as well. Our hosts were a delight to deal with as they made sure everything was in place for our arrival and that we were going to have a great stay. We simply cannot wait to come back!

Incredible views of the upper Napa Valley!

Perched on the side of a mountain in Calistoga, this home is all about the views from the property and they are incredible! We sat evening after evening out on the deck looking taking in the views during the magical hours of early evening as the sun begins to set. The horizontal light on the valley below was astounding. It never ceased to amaze us. The house is quite large and very accommodating. The host was great and readily available for any questions. We would highly recommend this property and would love to visit it again someday.

Wonderful house

We rented the house for 3 weeks after a family wedding in Napa. If was wonderful. The views are incredible and can be enjoyed from many areas inside the house and outside of the house. The beds and furniture are comfortable and are good quality. The kirchen has all you need for making meals. It is so special that they allow the guests to use the wine cellar — to store our wine and have appetizers or cheese course in the cellar made for great memories. The owner was easy to reach and accommodating. Thank you so much.

Panoramic

It was hard to leave after a wonderful extended stay at this spacious, comfortable home. Our hosts made us feel most welcome and were a pleasure to work with. The panoramic view, morning coffee watching the sunrise & an evening glass of wine watching the sunset will be missed! We loved the relaxed vibe of Calistoga & enjoyed several meals out there which did not disappoint. It really was a perfect location from which to visit wineries and we appreciated being able to use the impressive wine cellar. The location was also a good home base from which to get to some breathtaking cycling routes (road, gravel & mountain bikes) and hiking trails. We so much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home & in Calistoga!

Lovely Property for Wine Country Stay

The home is perched atop a hill and offers breathtaking views for everyone to enjoy. Located in Calistoga, the home is within 20 - 40 minute drive of an extremely large number of wineries. This is a lovely home base for a wine country visit and with 4 bedrooms, including an apartment in the basement, can comfortably sleep 8 adults. Would recommend!

Beautiful Home

We loved our stay at this property. The views are better than the pictures! The house is lovely. We had family come and go each weekend and the space accommodated us all. The kitchen is well appointed and had more than the basics to make dinners at home an ease. The outdoor space was just as beautiful as the views over the valley. And as a note to the owners commitment to their guests - we lost internet and the owner actually flew up to fix it so I could work the last week we were there. How could you ask for more? We will rent again!

Beautiful Calistoga

The views of the valley are the best I have seen. This property takes your breathe away in the evenings out on the deck looking over the wine country from a high elevation. The area is quiet and a place that really takes you away from it all but just moments from the downtown area of Calistoga. I highly recommend this as a destination for those who want to decompress and relax. The hosts are fantastic.

Spacious, Impressive Home with Beautiful View

Lived up to the billing and more. We stayed in this unit for 3-4 months and had plenty of room for guests. The view is pristine and it is easy to lose a weekend just hanging in the outdoor dining and fire pit areas. Operated extremely well, and kept very clean. Kitchen has plenty of space and accommodates for large meals well (especially if you use the grill as well). Ample parking space if your party all arrives separately.

Spectacular Wine Country getaway

The photographs on VRBO are great, but after firsthand experience it’s even better in person! The home, its views, the entertaining spaces and the wine cellar were all breathtaking and simply perfect for the area. It made coming home each day an absolute pleasure and we could not have asked for anything more. Having spent the last 1.5 years in the Napa Valley I was able to do plenty of exploring, visit my share of wineries and see numerous homes. I can safely say this entire property ranks among the best! If you can stay here, seize the opportunity because it will not disappoint!

So much to love about this property! The view + proximity to town + spacious living + outdoor entertaining + private wine cellar. All of this plus TESLA whole home back-up maintains power (inc. WiFi) and water during an outage. Neighbors with Chateau Montelena and many other wineries within 5 miles.
