Yes, we have recently run into some issues with our contracted cleaning company, which just came to our attention at one of our other units a couple streets up earlier this week. We have contracted with a new cleaning company that is taking over all of our unit cleanings beginning tomorrow, July 8 2021. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay overall. Thank you for the thorough review of your stay with us. I wanted to post a response to your review to let you and those reading this review know that immediately following your visit we contracted with a pest management company to come out and treat for the sugar ants. We also entered into an agreement to have bi-weekly treatment during the vacation season for mosquitos, to help keep the outdoor experience as "bug bite free" as possible. We now have them on a quarterly retainer to come out to treat for ants, and various other household bugs, to remain proactive on this moving forward. During our stay immediately following your visit, we had no ant activity, whatsoever. I am confident that moving the ant traps to the flower box, coupled with the pest control treatment, quickly eliminated this issue. We will remain proactive on this, moving forward.

Thank you for the honest feedback. A couple of these items you shared with us via direct message after check-out. We have modified our cleaning list for turnover cleanings to ensure that all flooring surfaces are thoroughly swept and vacuumed, to address the issue of sand that was reported. As stated in the direct message to you, we were the last guests in the home prior to your check-in, so were surprised to get a report of the volume of sand noticed because we did a walkthrough before we left and did not see any unusually large deposits of sand in the home. The cleaning staff was onsite when we left. As far as shower toiletries, that is something we have not provided historically. We have amended our listing to ensure that this is clearly mentioned for future prospective guests. The reason the grill was not cleaned out was that we had a decent amount of charcoal that was still usable in both grills from when they were last extinguished during our stay. We elected to leave the charcoal in the grills since there was a good amount of usable charcoal for someone to still use. Moving forward we are having the cleaning staff empty out the grills between guests to ensure no similar issue exists in the future. We were able to resolve the internet disconnect problem shortly after your party checked out. We had an electrician come onsite and they were able to make an adjustment to how the electrical receptacle was wired, that the internet modem and router were connected. It has not had any further issues since that on-site visit. In response to the comment about the condiments, we used to leave condiments in the refrigerator for guest use, however, in some research we did on short-term rentals it seemed to be the consensus to not leave condiments due to the possibility that a guest could tamper with them and that the host could be liable if a subsequent guest were to become sick or worse from something that another guest had done to an edible product what was not a sealed single-use type product. While we do agree that it is a convenience item to have these left for guests to have shared use of, we felt the benefit did not outweigh the potential for liability risk.
