It was great!

We had a blast! We had some trouble getting into the condo but other than that it’s a great location and the beach access was wonderful. The condo was very clean and cozy! 10/10 recommend!

Loved the Bungalow

The location is perfect-a few short steps from the sand and surf. The bungalow’s decor—upgraded light fixtures, tile work and kitchen made it feel upscale. We especially enjoyed the personalized touch like the oil paintings of local SPI icons, and the mini fans on all the beds. Thank you for sharing this beautiful bungalow with us.

Beach Condo

Nice clean, neat little property cooking utensils could be replaced was fun to be in just around the corner from the beach and Wana Wana Beach Bar Will try to stay at this property again.

Beautiful Beach Getaway

Just a few footsteps away from the beautiful waters and beach of South Padre Island. This rental had all the amenities of home and provided a very relaxing and peaceful setting! It’s proximity to the SPI Birding Center is an added bonus for any birding enthusiast! Highly recommend this beach rental!

Totally relaxed, totally awesome....

Very good experience, cleaness and comfortable. Can wait for another stay. Ground floor is perfect, short walk to the beach, and to Wanna wanna.

Extremely comfortable

Experience was absolutely incredible. Beach was only a couple of feet away; the view was breathtaking. COUCH WAS AMAZING!

Howdy! We are the Garcia Family. We have been blessed to be married some 25 years and have 4 children (okay not children anymore). When we became "empty-nesters" in 2018, we didn't know what to do with our time so we started traveling from our home in Cypress, TX to South Padre Island, TX every other week or so. We spent some time getting re-acquainted with the places where we had spent many "dates" when we first met. Anyhow, we decided to find a nice cozy but still lively place to land our feet at night. Our children spent a lot of time here growing up as well. So we were ALL comfortable with the decision to purchase our second home. Since we are not here all the time, we thought we would open our doors so that others could enjoy what we enjoy. Welcome.

Hello Y'all ! Welcome to our little getaway on South Padre Island. We are native Texans and have grown up on this Beautiful Beach! We have some of the best packing sand for sand castles, to beautiful sand dunes, waves and our sweetest turtles. Upon arrival you will notice the gorgeous views of the bay when crossing the bridge to get here. To the right you can see the old collapsed bridge with the new SpaceX in the background. To the left you can see paddle boarding, jet skis, fishing boats, parasailing and the exciting kite boarders flying in and out of the water! But then you get to the island and you will see restaurants galore with live bands everywhere. Spend the day under the Umbrella, visiting the turtles at turtle rescue or cruising the streets with bikes, skateboards, or golf carts. Its all fun! Watch the kites, surfers, boogie boarders or even a turtle rescue. Have your favorite drink... from either a coffee at one of the coffee bars to some perfect tea served at Grapevine (my fav) to some Turbo Pina Coladas or sip a cold beer. You do you! We chose our little place because it is just steps to the beach! Beach, umbrella, bar, and flip flops - need I say more? We do ride our bikes on the beach in the mornings with the sunrise and dance in the evenings bay side (usually Longboards) to see the sunsets. These are some of the most important times of the day! Beach Life.
