Joann was contacted prior to her visit and asked to notify the property manager upon arrival at the RSW Airport to confirm the time the property manager would be meeting her to introduce her to the home and review the operation of the equipment. I was notified by Ring that someone was entering the residence. I called and asked Joann if Samantha, the property manager was with her. She said that she was busy at the airport and forgot to call her. I immediately contacted Samantha, who was there within minutes. While I had Joann on the phone, I went over the elevator instructions with her and told her that it was important to follow the instructions or she would cause the elevator to malfunction and shut down. She said her husband had used it already and they knew how to operate it. When Samantha arrived, Joann's husband was coming off of the elevator. She again tried to give him instructions on how to operate it and he told her that he already knew. A few hours later, we received a message that the elevator was stuck and could not be called to the next floor. I sent someone to look at it and called the elevator company. Joann is incorrect that the elevator company came on the fifth day. They came the day after she called, but they did not answer the door and allow him to go in. The next appointment was three days later. She also forgot to say, that Naples and Marco Island were victims of Hurricane Ian and all of the vendors and repair companies in the area have been inundated with calls. However, we have a relationship with our company and they tried to accommodate her immediately. And, the company said that they had locked the door and tried to open it from the outside causing additional damage. We did not charge her for the two visits or for any damages to the elevator. We manage properties in Naples and Marco and always try to respond to any issues within hours. We apologize that she was not able to continue to use the elevator. Unfortunately, she was not authorized to enter the home without the property manager. When guests arrive at a new home and are not familiar with the equipment in the home including elevators, pool and spa equipment, alarm systems etc. there are always issues. Our policy is that you must be greeted by the property manager prior to entering the home. She did not follow these instructions, even though she was contacted prior to her visit. When guests are not introduced properly to the home there are always disappointments.

Sheryl was the perfect guest! She had guests visit during her stay and she treated this home just as if it was hers! Not only did she have respect for the home and left it spotless, but she had much respect for the neighboring properties, which was very important to the owner. Anyone would benefit from having this family as a guest.

The upstairs dishwasher was stopped in the middle of a cycle and needed to be restarted. Unfortunately, the propane was low and Amerigas was slow to respond. The house is set up on automatic delivery. We apologized for the inconvenience.
