Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we did like the house especially the pool! But the patio furniture was very worn out, only 1 fridge worked and there was ants everywhere. For all the money it is to rent I would think they could take care of the property! /:

Thank you for your review Desiree. We are sorry to hear that you had trouble with one of the refrigerators. Had you notified our office we would have delivered you a replacement right away. The owner of the home just replaced the deck chairs last month, but I will have our staff inspect the rest of the furniture to see it needs repair or replacement. Bed Bugs

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was nice. BUT one of the rooms had bed bugs. My daughter had gotten bitten and then looked under the mattress and found the bed bugs. I notified the front office and the manager was supposed to call me back aware of the situation and I never received a call back. I had to continuously call to finally speak to her. She said she would get someone to look at the house was all I was told. Sadly we are very upset about this issue and I believe they need to let the owner of the property aware of the issue if they dont already know. They need to plans as well as they don’t have much.
Svar fra VrboOwner den 11. jun. 2025
Hello Ida, we take reports of bed bugs very seriously and we immediately had this home inspected by a professional. NO bedbugs were found, I personally spoke to you on the phone the day after your check out and reached out to you again to update you on the report from the professional I left you a voice mail stating the home had NO bed bugs and that if you had any further concerns or questions to give me a call.

Frio Ritas

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house and layout was great. However there were some issues. The house was missing some important items. There was no mop or broom. The kitchen was lacking paper towel holders for the kitchen and pool areas, no measuring cup, minimal dishes and pots and pans. What pots and pans were there were old and worn out. There were no fly swatters and in this part of Texas during the summer if you BBQ there are going to be flies! The internet was only in the main area and not covering the entire property and additional rooms. With 6 young men they could not get internet except inside the house. The vent hood is not working which is important for frying bacon for breakfast. Most of the dishes were dirty or greasy and had to be washed before using. House of this caliber should be more appointed. The outdoor seating cushions were worn out and should be replaced. All and all I would give the home a thumbs up for the layout. Only missing minor details and yes I would stay there again but probably bring my own stuff.

Thank you for taking the time to share this valuable review. Here at Frio River Vacation Rentals, we strive to provide you and your family a memorable experience. The mop and broom are readily available to replace here at the office, I wish we would have been made aware of them being missing, we would have taken them over to the home. The pot and and pans have now been replaced, thank you for making us aware of the condition, some of us tend to think they have a little life in them while others disagree. We were not aware the vent hood was not functioning, thank you for that, we have made the maintenance aware of this to be taken care of. We have shared your review with our team and would love the opportunity to welcome you back and exceed your expectations. Hope to see you soon. Frio River Vacation Rentals TheFrioRiver com

Didn't like all the stairs after a couple trips up and down putnin the sun. Fought with the living room tv multiple times a day everyday to stay connected to wifi yet the outside TV had no problem even that far away. Other than that everyone loved it. Pool bar was a hit. Was used all day everyday.

Fun times!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our third year staying at this property. The house was clean as always but the pool was murky when we arrived and full of hair and the patio was covered in hair. When the pool guy came, he added chemicals and left, the pool maintenance and patio areas seem to be neglected. The patio drains were clogged so the pool water that was splashed out stayed on the surface causing it to be slick. We still had a great time!
